DEFINITELY COUNTS!

Once again you are slaying it with your rocker-chick aesthetic. You are fabulous.
And I LOVE brown and black together....it's such an underused fashion combo by many.

Thank you once again!! I too love black and brown together, especially when it's a chocolately brown with touches of gold or maroon, or a nice beige color to accent the black.

Colors look so pretty on u ABQ2ATL [emoji173]️[emoji173]️

ABQ2TL - You excel at picking em! I would have never dreamed the pheasant scarf would look like that tied. Just divine dear. You are rocking the autumn colored scarves this week.

This is an amazing scarf!!! Are they still available in stores?

ABQ2ATL, that's absolutely gorgeous as worn! So pretty, it reminds me of Florentine marbled paper! You'll have us all hunting for this scarf, now!

You are the queen of earth toned silks!!! Lovely.
Looking great!

Thank you for the compliments, darling silkies! Belle Chasse is by Henri de Linares, first issued in 1963 -- I feel sure this is a reissue (copyright Hermes in one corner). It comes up on the Bay pretty often, so wait for a good price (mine was grubby, but washed out beautifully.) I believe the main difference between the colorways is the border -- mine is brown, but I think the red or blue borders have the same bird colors. They're male and female pheasants, laid out to show back and front of the plumage -- kind of a biology lesson. I'll tie Belle Chasse the other direction to show the lady bird for Feathers Week!

The H scarves with hunting bounty have always squicked me, but you are giving me a brand new appreciation for them :weird::cray::ty:

We are almost scarf twins. Mine has a royal blue border. Belle Chasse looks beautiful on you.

You are killing me with the way you showcase this scarf! So tempted to try to nab one myself. The texture of those feathers is TDF!

So pretty, as always, ABQ2ATL!

I'm overwhelmed by the response to Belle Chasse -- thank you all! It really is a pretty scarf when you think of the pheasants as "sleeping"!

Silkies - another week has flown by and marveling all the pretty autumn colors. We had a strange weather week, cold, then hot and the silks just kept changing for me. Start of the week Collection Imperiales and end of the week Pani Pointu. TGIF!

lanit, this is beautiful! The weather is so dang erratic-- never know what to wear but you pull off all so well, always.

Cavaleria D in rouge / blanc / noir. Thank you for letting me share. [emoji173]️

What a stunner!

Hello, my beautiful silkies -- don't forget another Autumn classic:
Belle Chasse, the "sleeping pheasants" scarf (a little grim, but it ties beautifully):

Haha, your "sleeping pheasants" and "biology" lesson don't fool this girl! This scarf is sadly, so beautiful tied---the pristine feathers that have no "red paint" splatters are lovely. My DH still says, "Oh look at the X, taking a nap on the side of the road..." And I always WHACK him!

DEFINITELY COUNTS!

So well said Boston!!

Taking ex-lib to Red Door for a pedi today. She's so spoiled, if not autumnal. [emoji12]

The denim looks gorgy with this scarf. Nice look Pirula. So weekend fabulous!

Thank you so much! I will try my best to explain it.

1. Start by folding the scarf into a triangle and make a tiny knot on the end. Put your left arm through the loop that is created.

2. Move the scarf from your left arm over to the right so that the two loose ends of the triangle appear.

3. Twist these ends twice, don’t knot.

4. Move the scarf from your arm so that it falls between the two loose ends and then pull them. The result will be a flower like shape in the middle.

5. After that you can tie the scarf in the back of your neck or even wrap it around and tie the rest of it in the front if you don’t want it hanging down.

If none of that makes any sense and you are interested, I will find someone who can photograph me doing it step by step over the weekend sometime.
Very embarrassing but I cannot envisage it. Photos, pretty please?

Congratulations on 2 exquisite GMs. Dreamy, cherry!

Pocket, congrats, it is very pretty!

Good day to you silky friends! Today's autumnal beauty, Coup de Fouet. Happy Friday! [emoji322]
