Dear ABQ, thank you for this brilliant introduction which I found very interesting and informative, I have just read the interview with Alice Shirley which was fascinating. I follow her on Instagram. Now off to view the Wall St journal piece. It is very important for Husband Budgetary Committee Appeals that I can plead educational/cultural/artistic benefits of Hermès scarf acquisitions, not just buying lovely lovely pretty shiny things...;)

Thank you, Pudfish -- I'm always happy to help!

Wow, ABQ2ATL, I am in love with Soie Libre. I adore silks with stories/intricate montages, like Le Potager Extraordinaire (a Pierre Marie) and which is why I am drawn to Annie Faivre and Christine Henry designs too. What year is Soie Libre from?

Thanks, sickgirl--Soie Libre is from 2009 (I believe the year of issue is next to the name of each scarf on the first page I posted this week)

Dear Scarfies, I have quite literally got the Wrong End of the (Walking) Stick with this week's theme. I jauntily got out this gavroche feeling very On Theme and Relevant.

Then I saw it was Les Cannes et Pommeaux by de la Perrière, not Les Cannes by Virginie Jarmin. This scarf business gets very tricky sometimes for the novice scarfie like me. A sticky moment indeed. But I will stick with it...and other horrible puns..

I've been working from home this week so no need to wear scarves. Thus, I took a small "family portrait" for this weeks theme.

L to R:
In The Mountains by Nigel Peake
Tapis Persans by Pierre Marie
Les Cannes by Virginie Jamin
C'est La Fête by Daisuke Nomura

Nice! But....what?.....you don't wear a scarf when working from home? Maybe I'm crazy....Maybe your house is overheated, LOL.

Very easy mistake to make. They are pretty similar. It's looks great nonetheless!! Xo

Haha. I'm lucky if I get out of sweats when I'm working from home! Haha
