@Pautinka: Wow, all of the gravy came out of your beautiful Dallet? Amazing! Maybe H CSGMs are just made for hardier wear. I want to lend my mom my scarves, but she's afraid of turning it into a meal napkin since when she goes out, she usually ends up eating something (and dropping it). Stay warm in Scotland!
Cygne18, yes it did but I attended to it immediately using lots of napkins underneath and on top and only warm water then carefully drying it under the hand dryer. I am guessing the gravy can't have been fatty! Not a mark anywhere now. The laugh was I had taken it off to keep it safe whilst eating!!!! Thank you. I don't know where you are but stay warm too in your lovely shawls!! [emoji4][emoji4]

I've been wearing my Zenobie today (having a Zenobie week all by myself as I've been wearing it one way or another for last 3 days). Anyone else sometimes match/coordinate their clothes to their favourite scarf of the moment? What you can't see is my skirt is a sort of plaid that's close to the cw minus the purple.

As you can see I have managed to keep up my reputation as the world's worst selfie taker but here's the lovely silk over a purple cashmere poncho, colours may be not so bright IRL

I have always wanted Pois de Soie, one day it will be mine (cue mad cackling laughter).
32,39 and 53 Sulfures et Presse-Papiers II
38, 59 and 72 Séquences
Er...end of brain functioning..

Where does the cute little fish who seems to be wearing chainmail come from? Love him.
The little fish is from Cuilliers d'Afrique. :)

You're on a roll with the fabulousness Croisette!

Yesterday I came in line with the theme and wore Bolduc au Carré twilly, got my husband to take the photo so you get the full benefit of my teeth, scary. Had fun re-watching lots of the MaiTai videos on scarf tying and tried the Twilly wrap.

I think it's adorable Pudish!

You look great, @Croisette7! I love that Hermes had produced holiday-themed scarves. I wish they would re-issue the Noel au Faubourg 90, but one can only hope...

I love it, @Pudfish! Isn't MaiTai the best? I was playing around with the twilly and Mors ring yesterday and it looked very elegant. I just have to make sure to tie a secure enough knot on the end to make sure the twilly doesn't fly off. I had originally bought twillys to tie around my bag handles, but wearing them looks wonderful too.

I agree @Pautinka! I just adore scarf threads and everyone's obsessions and stories. That's funny that the Scottish ladies like the LV shawls. I heard that they are so delicate too and snag very easily which would make my clutzy self cry if that happened to me.

I've been playing around with MaiTai's scarf tutorials (I'm a new H scarf and pretty much new-H-everything collector) and here's my version of her waterfall knot with the Marche du Zambeze in the rose colorway.

That is a lovely selfie papertiger; I don't think you are doing yourself justice! I have hummed and hawed over Zenobie - sometimes I really want it then I pull back. Those beautiful jewel colours are just perfect for autumn.....and have zoomed me right back into the definitely want camp!!!

I wasn't sure either (bought fairly well into the season and not from my usual store but Harrods where they seemed to have all the cws) and then so called 'IS'/ISIL/ISIS tried to destroy Palmyra, murdering it's devoted guardian thereby buying/wearing it has became an act of warrior queens' defiance against bullies (esp the male kind) who would rather history conveniently didn't exist

I had also mistakenly thought it wouldn't suit (as Maharaja Perles and other jewellery design scarves from other designers) but the design is a bit more 'robust' (making it actually suitable for men and women IMO) plus it looks great in the hair/on the head. I found the less bright cws in this design helped me make up my mind.

Sending you further inspiration XXX

This is gorgeous, @papertiger. Looks wonderful on you and this is a great photo. I'll have to look this scarf up! Nothing wrong with coordinating your OOTD around your fave scarf. Love the idea. I usually go around it the other way when I think about it, but nowadays because it's been getting chilly and I've been wearing fairly dark monotone shades, so almost the scant amount of scarves I own match. Almost.

Cygne18, yes it did but I attended to it immediately using lots of napkins underneath and on top and only warm water then carefully drying it under the hand dryer. I'm on the east coast in the U.S., @Pautinka. I'm so glad your cashmere is gravy-free (so lucky). I imagine if you've tied your scarf fairly simply, it'd make sense to simply whisk it off and then put it on later. An unfortunate accident, indeed. Maybe bring a ziplock bag with you next time to stash the CSGM. Then there's very little chance of any liquids getting to it.

I feel that if I wore my scarf in a complicated knot when going out, I'd have to bring a giant bib with me to cover it since I wouldn't want to deal with re-knotting it post-meal. I thought I read in this thread or another one that someone brings a linen napkin with them all the time to protect the scarf during meals which is smart. Or I guess I can carefully flip the scarf towards my back (which would look fairly odd and not completely foolproof --> what's to stop a waiter from accidentally dropping food on your backside?) and then use a napkin to cover that smaller portion or just chance it that way.
