Hi everyone! It's been insanely busy at work for the last little while, plus taking care of my poor injured (soccer injury) DH had me absolutely exhausted. I had to attend a seminar all day today, and when I finally made it home, a surprise was waiting for me. My DH felt so bad that I have been running around taking care of him, he had ordered a little something fun and had it delivered to cheer me up. I am so grateful that I have such a sweet person as my DH, but his gesture made me feel guilty (I don't feel like I have done anything exceptional - who else would take care of him?). Anyway, here are a couple of pics to share.
What a lovely story and a pretty gift!

These are such treasures, Croisette. That color L'Hiver was my mom's first H scarf and we both love it. Also love Sequences and La Présentation.

John in DFW, your Séquence is a stunning classic. Wear it more, it really suits you.

Pudfish, I adore H. De Watrigant and Les Haras is a masterpiece. All your other scarves are spectacular, too.

Bunnycat, you wear H with such non-chalance. Bravo!

These are wonderful! Definitely post again! Modeling shots. Love the lemur peaking out and the prancing ponies.

Thank you Pocketbook P!
Oh, I feel honoured to have inspired you :blushing:. When I started reading about scarves here you were one of the first users that got stuck in my brain. One word: "Canty":D

I don't have any twillies (yet), neither a farandole, otherwise I would spend my evening with them .

On topic: Potager extraordinaire is full of people in motion, this is my favourite:

I love this little chap in his car/pumpkin!

I never realized it until today. But I need a dancing elephant in my life! [emoji12]

No Pirula, what you need is a Stud! (I am of course talking about the scarf Les Haras Nationaux..)

That scarf was collateral damage: I went to the store to ask for last years "De la mer au ciel" in bleu/vert/mauve and saw the carrots in the scarf drawer. It is full of fun details and ties nicely. (One pic is in the hermes and cheap outfits-thread). I am happy I bought it but still want to have the "De la mer". And a Mythiques Phoenix cotton pareo in Lagoon.
And a Flamingo Party.
And a (Maxi)Twilly (did not find a gesign I truly like yet). And a Moussie. And a Farandole.

And down the orange slope..................
Must not check ebay :nuts::nuts:

I love the expression "collateral damage" in this context!! I am going to be using it a lot to explain away my H sins....

Pudfish, the little Lemur peeking out of your scarf is so cute. Your cowboy knot looks wonderful on you.

Thank you! It might make Pest Control operatives twitchy...here we have a kind of dormouse called a glis glis that is a complete nuisance if they get into your house, they set up dormitories under the floorboards and chew through wiring etc. It the pest people mistake my little chap for one of these...

That is very lovely

A vintage Sequences in cowboy mode...waiting for the storms from the Gulf

to make their way up here, hope all in the Houston/Corpus area (especially the HSOTD members) are safe and battened down.

John in DFW

You look very fine in your Sequences, lovely colours. Hope the storms miss you.

Adorable collection! I love, love ponnies in En Piste. Thank you for letting us know and preview next week's thème.

Hi CherryB, thank you! That was totally random that I got ahead with next week's theme.

And a tiny pochette with danseuses
