Oh MYH, we are so close to being twins on both. Today, I wore my second attempt at Fleurs d'Indiennes in a 140. I bought the first one in the bright, primary blue and it wasn't for me. Next, is this one. I love it but the hem is such a bizarre twist! I think the 90s are so much more beautiful.... Need all!

Dang, I didn't get a chance to show the goofy color melon hem!

Very Nice and very chic...

Sparkles - The ring! The ring! You’re wearing the ring! I love it! And the 140 silk harmonizes with the gray of your top and the brown of your CdC. Great nail polish job too, as usual.

Eternal - it looks like you’re enjoying your new L’arbre so much. So pretty on you and the bangles are a perfect finishing touch.

Chris - You look very handsome with Etriers and good luck with the elegant woman! ;)

MYH - Such pretty grays and browns. Modeling shots to follow soon, I hope??

Pursegirl - what a beautiful color way; I love the tension of the lilac background with the fiery coral tree limbs and shells.

Pirula - I can see that’s it time for me to hunt down a brown tweed jacket. What a smart look. It provides a very distinguished canvas on which to show off your newest treasure, and congratulations again on finally finding it.

ABQ2ATL - Scarf sisters!!!! :ghi5: What's your favorite part of La Femme? Mine is the black and white parts of the scarf, especially the black/white circles/diamonds.

Have been very very lucky to pick up a fuchsia La Femme preloved earlier this year in a like new shape for a steal (half of current retail :graucho::yahoo::nuts:) Still can't believe it and it has very quick become a favorite of my small and humble collection!
Please share my joy with me :)

Joy shared!!!!!!!!

Congrats on finding this glorious grail and at such an unheard of price. Woo hoo!

I feel very "Honoréd" to help kick off Honoré week :p

Last night wearing my grail shawl La Femme in the bright pink colorway to attend the opera Eugene Onegin, with the 32cm Black Box Kelly with ghw. Again. Kelly girl is getting quite a workout these days! Loved the opera, loved the bag, and loved this shawl

I'm wearing it as Mai Tai's Asymetrical Shoulder Wrap, instructions here. To do it with a shawl you need a very large scarf ring.
I like it because it keeps your shoulders warm without there being quite so much material hanging down your back as when you just drape it over the shoulders in a triangle. Plus, because the scarf ring secures it, you're not having to chase your shawl all night long.

What a way to kick off this week theme... u look great! And thanks for sharing Mai tai's instruction

Thanks sparklelisab! Sieste is so beautiful, I'll post mine later this week. I'm excited about this week as I do believe Honore is one of my favorites.

Am also super excited to share one of my acquired and beloved grails in SOTD for the first time. I've been looking forward to this week ever since I got it. Fleurs d'Indiennes, chocolat/rose/violine:

Beautiful~

My grail was discovered this past year ( or was it last year)? An unworn with tags still on it and I can't believe still that I found it after missing the initial launch. I was lucky enough to find the b/w at NM one day too. I sure miss those H scarf counters at NM! But I did get one of the last CSGM's in noisette as my first GM shawl.:p

U look great!

Aline Honore is definitely one of my fav designers. I seem naturally attracted to her designs.

1. The third scarf I ever bought was this Au Coeur de la Vie in Dec 2013. The colors seemed xmasy, and I had yet to find a few other Xmas scarves.. Then in 2014, it was re-issued! I ended up with the black/green one that Lisa featured in her intro. DH still says this is one of his favorites! Then, umm, I bought the 2 blue ones… I LOVE this design! I would still love to get this in a moussie!

2. Voyage de Pytheas- also from SS2014. I looked long and hard for this one! Here I am wearing it a month ago, on sail-away from NYC on the QM2.

3. Sieste au Paradis- my latest Aline H scarf. Initially, I wasn't sure about this CW, but DH loved it!

4. Coupons Indiens- I was actually looking for Fleurs Indiennes when this one popped up on ebay. Love that it looks totally different on the 2 bias strips.

Still hoping for Fleurs Indiennes in the right CW, price and seller.

Wow, can really tell u love Honore's design very much... all look beautiful

I can play this game, even though I only have three Honores.
Coupons Indiennes with a cute blue hem:

Amazing how different they can look with just minor changes in tying...
(The third is a special changeant mousse that's going to be tough to photograph...I'll be back with that.)

All 3 looks beautiful.. how I wish I have one of urs :p

Once more. FdI today. Sun is not up here yet. Apologize for bad lighting.

Sparkle - ya know what? I typically don't like scarves with a contrast hem color that is completely goofy meaning the hem color is nowhere in the scarf design. But for this one, I put up with it. You wear it brilliantly darling. I'll post some mod pics tomorrow. But I gotta confess, 140 silks are my absolute favorite. They slay me.

Pirula, gorgeous FdI. I decided between yours and the khaki and picked the latter. The design came in superb color ways.

Sparkle, I think we're twins. My 140 cm FdI was love at first sight for me (when I saw it in the catalogue). The prune is so delicious and I would call the hem egg yolk :)

Pink pink pink i love pink

Thank you all SO much!

Chris: that pink pink pink is actually RED! But yes there's a lot of pink! in the scarf. Interesting how the blouse photo'ed sort of pink too. Weird! Oh well, glad you like it! Whatever works!

Sparklelisab: That's gorgeous. Aren't you twins with MYH on that? I actually know the hem on this one (i think) I thought it was orange and I think it's fantastic!

MYH: I find that I am the opposite of you, I LOVE the contrast hems that come out of nowhere! Not that I have any. Yet. My contrast hems (well actually except perhaps today's gray one, there's very little gray in the body of the scarf) all "make sense." I adore the "illogical" ones like in this Fleurs and in this year's Hipopolis.

Maedi: The khaki is also quite beautiful. Unfortunately for me, the colors in that one wouldn't play quite as nicely with my complexion I don't think. You're right that the cws in this design are exquisite.

TangoTosca: Ha! When dear thegriswolds gave me this jacket I never dreamed it would go so well with so many different things. It is truly marvelous and you must get one. Thank you for the kind compliment.

Croisette: Thank you so very much. It is an exquisite cw, I don't think pictures do it justice. It is well worth the search and I do hope you find one someday soon.

scarf1: thank you! It is perhaps my favorite. It was my favorite, no question, until Fleurs d'Indiennes came into my life. Now it's a bit of a toss up!
