Please excuse the interruption of this week's theme. Pirula knows that she inspired me... er, um I copied her... And found a Soiree de gala of my own. I'm so exited because I didn't realize until I saw it in person that the people are walking up the stairs at the opera garner, which is where I go to see the ballet often in Paris. I recognize the light fixtures and angelic statues as well as the arches. Does anyone know what FR stands for at the top of the arches? I will have to research it. But for now here she is. Along with my colvert kelly. Thank you Pirula!

This looks so smart and elegant, so together! Once again, 11/10 on the Croisette Total Fabulousness Index..
Yesterday's look...Le Tarot. Linen shirt, as The Heat is On in North Texas.

John in DFW

Cool look John for a hot climate! Here in old England it has hit about 21 degrees C and we are all wilting...but we are expecting rain again tomorrow night so everything will be back to normal again soon, we can get back to complaining about the weather and where is summer etc. etc. 😜

Dear Pirula, Vitamina H and Momasaurus, thank you for the nice things you wrote about my contribution. Moma, the Twilly with scarf ring was just looped through and then the ends tied behind my neck, it's a Grand size ring so was wide enough to allow me to do so without strangulation. Always a bonus. [emoji6]

Inspired by the jewellery theme and in particular by KateKluet who showed some lovely details from her scarves, here are some jewellery "close ups". I did conclude that in my scarf collection it's the horses that get to wear the jewellery! Look, in Songe de Licorne as well as all the jewelled belts this horse seems to be wearing earrings. I suppose they have the ears for it, so why not?

Anyone know if there is a monkey in this scarf, as I understand Annie Faivre usually hides one View attachment 3028208View attachment 3028210View attachment 3028211somewhere?

I love a man that can rock some bling, here Pani La Shar Pawnee shows us all how to accessorise with necklace, silver rings, scarf and a lovely bow arrangement on his arm. It's important when one is a Warrior Chief to keep in touch with one's softer side..

Here my Monsier et Madame II gavroche features among other things, cufflinks, bracelets and a watch chain....one of my few brand new direct from Hermès scarves, spontaneously* bought for me by my husband for a Valentine's Day present last year.

*at gunpoint, escorted to computer, credit card surgically removed from wallet ..

All are gorgeous, but the Songe de Licorne is absolutely amazing! That Valentine's Day description has me rolling!

Oh Pudfish, your contribution is creative and funny as always. They are beautiful. Except the chief, who kind of scares me. I usually just send my husband links with a message that says buy this. Or I give his cell number to the sales associate. He loves that.

I wore my Tapis Persans GM yesterday in cw 13 Vert/Noir/Brique Papf but failed to take a pic.
Next time...

Here it is not being worn –*with Toro, of course, who will never be denied a photo op. (sorry for the blurry pic!)

Omg! The scarf is gorgeous! The dog is adorable!

Hehehehe. Glad you guys like the scarf and love Toro. He is my little lovebug-troublemaker. He's a Havanese (part of the Bichon fam). We have two and just adore them!

It's a lovely scarf, the colour looks really good on you! I have been hunting for this scarf for a long time either in white with grey pattern or vice versa, no luck so far! So, just hang on to this one, they are quite difficult to come by😀

Eliwon
I hope you find your Chaines et Gourmettes soon , I'll give you a shout if I see one!
Meanwhile I feel a new appreciation of mine and shall wear it more , thanks for the encouragement ;)

Ok Scarfies, here is my scarf jewellery contribution.

This is a gavroche picked up on evil bay. Thanks to the brilliant website,

View attachment 3027047
Pudfish I so love this gavroche , many thanks for sharing the details , so fascinating .It sort of reminds me of the Japanese film about the lady with long hair crawls out of TV sets , forget what she does next :p
The rose knot is my favourite too , it just is so perfect with the coral centre and white edges.

Please excuse the interruption of this week's theme. Pirula knows that she inspired me... er, um I copied her... And found a Soiree de Gala
