:DI'm not someone who gets lots of compliments from strangers when out and about , but hey ! this bright orange twilly is the exception . A super-bargain on E*** , and the one that gets me NOTICED

I can absolutely see how you would be complimented, dear frou frou! It is such an adorable Twilly and the chic way you wear it with the Mors Ring is a knock-out look! Once again, you wear oranges and reds so beautifully! :smile1:

Ok Scarfies, here is my scarf jewellery contribution.

This is a gavroche picked up on evil bay. Thanks to the brilliant website, Hermesology, created by Seton, a Purse Forum Hermes scarf expert/star, I can tell you that it is called Amazone and was designed by Hilton McConnico for the launch of the Amazone fragrance in 1974. The image reminds me of a Japanese animé but maybe I have just been exposed to too much Pokemon by my boys.

Here I attempt scarf as necklace with Mors ring.

By luck it turns out also to have jewellery in the design, even the horse seems to be wearing a bejewelled halter..

Here I tried flower knot.

And here is me wearing my Rubans du Cheval Twilly with my Burgundy MaiTai scarf ring which magically seems to go with almost everything.. I found this worked well as I could not feel I was wearing it and wore it all day, and it keeps the scarf well out of the way of all activities - eating, drinking, wrestling with dog/children....

Whoa, Ms. Pudfish!! What a beautiful little treasure to find! I cannot believe she is from 1974, as she looks so pristine! Great job on the flower knot too! I really like the look of your MaiTai scarf ring and the Twilly! :smile1:

Please excuse the interruption of this week's theme. Pirula knows that she inspired me... er, um I copied her... And found a Soiree de gala of my own. I'm so exited because I didn't realize until I saw it in person that the people are walking up the stairs at the opera garner, which is where I go to see the ballet often in Paris. I recognize the light fixtures and angelic statues as well as the arches. Does anyone know what FR stands for at the top of the arches? I will have to research it. But for now here she is. Along with my colvert kelly. Thank you Pirula!

What an amazing, gorgeous cw PbP! This reminds me of a dreamy watercolor painting. I love it! She definitely looks striking with your colvert Kelly! Congratulations on such a pretty find and especially when it has such a special meaning to you-so fun that was unexpected! So happy to have you as a CdC scarf sister! I think it is a must for us dog lovers! :smile1:

Pudfish – these are all brilliant! How did you tie the one with the burgundy ring?

Pocketbook Pup – gorgeous soiree de gala! What a great find. And that Kelly is to die for. RF stands for République Française.

I love how these (sweater and scarf) look together! Very stylish!

Thank you, rainneday!

This scarf is truly amazing. The colors take my breath away.

Ok maybe it's a stretch but I discovered my Panache et Fantaisie sorta has jewelry in it...if one counts horse "jewelry" such as gilded headgear and golden chains. :-D

Divine.

Back to Winter wardrobe today , airing Chaines et Gourmettes 70cm ,in maroon with a wild red leopard border .

I think this is a design without a designer , it's a photograph of H assorted chains .

Not my favourite scarf , many times I pull it out , put it on and take it off preferring something a bit more uplifting.

Such a beauty.

Beautiful Tibetan jewelry in the corners of my beloved La Femme

Gorgeous.

Not sure why last photo doesn't work.

Just glorious!

Yesterday's look...Le Tarot. Linen shirt, as The Heat is On in North Texas.

John in DFW

Wonderful!

Dear Pirula, Vitamina H and Momasaurus, thank you for the nice things you wrote about my contribution. Moma, the Twilly with scarf ring was just looped through and then the ends tied behind my neck, it's a Grand size ring so was wide enough to allow me to do so without strangulation. Always a bonus. 😉

Inspired by the jewellery theme and in particular by KateKluet who showed some lovely details from her scarves, here are some jewellery "close ups". I did conclude that in my scarf collection it's the horses that get to wear the jewellery! Look, in Songe de Licorne as well as all the jewelled belts this horse seems to be wearing earrings. I suppose they have the ears for it, so why not?

Anyone know if there is a monkey in this scarf, as I understand Annie Faivre usually hides one ImageUploadedByPurseForum1434032999.346765.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1434033024.442982.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1434033038.841395.jpgsomewhere?

I love a man that can rock some bling, here Pani La Shar Pawnee shows us all how to accessorise with necklace, silver rings, scarf and a lovely bow arrangement on his arm. It's important when one is a Warrior Chief to keep in touch with one's softer side..

Here my Monsier et Madame II gavroche features among other things, cufflinks, bracelets and a watch chain....one of my few brand new direct from Hermès scarves, spontaneously* bought for me by my husband for a Valentine's Day present last year.
