Batch-posting pictures from this week.

Working from home wearing my Aux Portes du Palais to brighten up a casual shirt:

Enjoying the Highline here in NYC -- bright yellow Les Legendes de L'Arbre. Doesn't show well, but worn twisted multiple time along the bias fold and then wrapped twice around my neck.

Playing with crazy print combinations -- I bought this Gap shirt on clearance just because I thought it went with this Le Potager Extraordinaire. The scarf itself is not bright, but together, they are bright alright :graucho: I still cannot decide if they 'go' together, but it is really fun to wear at least :roflmfao:

Loving your batch posting - like batch baking but without the guilty calories.

First pic made me sob as I had that scarf but sold it in misguided scarf guilt moment....weeps quietly onto keyboard..

I absolutely love your flowery shirt with your Potager Extraordinaire, I think together they look completely amazing, I really do. Will save your pic as inspiration. Not sure if I will be able to combine flower prints as skilfully as you have done though - if you hear on news that woman has been arrested in UK for wearing an offensively loud shirt in a residential area, you will be to blame!!! Pls arrange for the Scarf Forum to post bail.

Just a request to please multiquote if you are responding to more than one member, as it makes the thread easier to follow.

Just select the small open circle at the bottom right of the first post you want to quote, and use it for every subsequent one until the last one; for that one, select quote.

Thanks!

Thank you for the instructions Misticat! I've always wondered how to do it. I don't see an open circle option on my phone but will check it out on my regular computer.

I thought you would like it, Pudfish! I actually thought of you when posting it.

OMG!!! Scarves as jewelry sparklelisa! I can do this!!! :p

Astrologie gavroche and Mors bracelet (This was the first attempt, and I was more careful so it's cleaner)

Quick and dirty attempt on the go...

Warning- this one just about made me stomp my feet in frustration more than once, but I think I've done it enough now to "get it". The important trick is to keep the 2 ring part of the Mors near you instead of opposite you if anyone wants to try it....It's very comfy....

I really like this! I need the Mors, I have a similar one by a different brand, but I don't think it will work as well with twillies as a bracelet.

Omg. I never wanted a twilly before but now I must have a twilly. Love it as a bracelet.

I like them in the summer when it's hot, Pocketbook Pup. I am not a big fan of enamels and large bracelets because they get in my way, but twillies work well when I need some arm candy.

Thank you:smile1:
are twins on the Potager (see my avatar). This is such a happy design that also ties well. I have to try it with something patterned as well.

Thank you all for your nice words of welcome. At least here I am understood :D

Welcome, HoneyLocks! I think many of the dear members are drawn here because

I am delighted to be twins on the Potager. I have one in a different colorway also...well, I should say I had one, because my mother kindly relieved me of it, but I am not losing hope to see it back in my scarf drawer sometime!

Sweeties, the last pocket square was actually the black/white/metallic colorway of Pique Fleuri de Provence:. It's a very unusual beauty as it has some matte silvery overlay:

The last knot was just a regular pocket square fold that I borrow from the way men use pocket square with their suit jacket. Very simple!

The flower knot that I use is actually not the same as the one by Maitai. My sweet SA taught me how to do it!
Here's the one I used last time, but with the Mythiques Phoenix pocket square:

here's the one by MaiTai

Chestnutty, I would lose to see a flower knot tutorial for that knot. It looks very nice and voluminous. Your PFdP is a special treasure; I have a soft spot for scarves with gold / silver in them. You seem to truly have mastered the art of the pochette!

And while we are on the subject of wearing twillies in hot weather. Double whammy, too -- the twilly is Kelly en Perles with pearls on it!

Hm, that bracelet looks a lot more banged up than it actually is.

Bunnycat - Brilliant idea you have. I think I will have better use of my gavroche(s) and MORS from now on (on my wrist). Thank you for sharing :yahoo:

Thank you lyseiki- but we have senbei to thank for the instructions! I merely rifled through that old thread to see what I could uncover!

Thank you:smile1:

First I have to improve my selfie-skills and clean my mirrors. All the other photos I took are a bit embarrassing :nogood:

The braid was not hard to do since I often wear my hair braided (not as hot as loose and an alternative to all the up-dos. But the part that goes around as a hairband is always slipping off. :woot:

Whow, that is stunning: Love the colors, the "knot", the posture. A piece of art

Thank you HoneyLocks!

Wow! Who knew? That's fabulous!

If you figure out how to do it in phone app, please let us know....

I know! It's actually very comfortable too! As to the multiquote- it's very easy and works great on my computer, but as AnnaE said- not available on the phone.

Thank you for your kind words as well AnnaE!

Oh Bunny, what a fantastic idea!! I want a Mors ring but my SA kind of steered me away from them [she said they are a pain to use]. You have renewed my faith it though!! :D

I don't have any jewelry themed scarves but I do often wear gavroches as bracelets so here is one contribution. Cheval Rectangle pocket square with one of MaiTai's horn rings.

I don't think there is way, sadly, it is a feature that is not iOS supported :(

Ladies, all you need to do is click on the quote of a member, until the selections appear, select "More", then "Multi-Quote", then the continue to select the next post to quote. The number of quotes will show on the header toolbar e.g. "2 posts selected" and the posts highlighted in yellow. All you need to do after you're done selecting post to quote is clicking the compose icon (like Message icon, next to "3 posts selected" in the example below) in the upper right corner of the app screen.
