Thank you for the kind words Pirula, Bova, LOUKPEACH, and AnnaE!

Pirula- Please let us know how it turns out! I'm gonna try some of my other scarves belted this week and see how they look too!

The colors are soooo gorgeous and vibrant!

Hi Chestnutty - Thanks, I have never taken a pic whenever I wear this mousse (in the past) and never knew it would look so striking especially against white.

OMG!!! Scarves as jewelry sparklelisa! I can do this!!! :p

Astrologie gavroche and Mors bracelet (This was the first attempt, and I was more careful so it's cleaner)

Quick and dirty attempt on the go...

Warning- this one just about made me stomp my feet in frustration more than once, but I think I've done it enough now to "get it". The important trick is to keep the 2 ring part of the Mors near you instead of opposite you if anyone wants to try it....It's very comfy....

Bova123, jp_536, eagle1002us, Vitamina H, frou frou, scarf1 - I'm glad you enjoyed the eye candies!

Pudfish - Oh so that Beloved India scarf went to you! I'm so relieved! I've been kicking myself for losing out on it, but glad it went to a good home!
(LOL'ed at the pic of your puppy )

You're sooo creative! Welcome to the thread!
I wish I could braid scarf to my hair like that, I have such Asian stick straight hair that nothing can stay on for long on my hair... I gave up on bobby pins already.

Sweeties, the last pocket square was actually the black/white/metallic colorway of Pique Fleuri de Provence:. It's a very unusual beauty as it has some matte silvery overlay:

The last knot was just a regular pocket square fold that I borrow from the way men use pocket square with their suit jacket. Very simple!

The flower knot that I use is actually not the same as the one by Maitai. My sweet SA taught me how to do it!
Here's the one I used last time, but with the Mythiques Phoenix pocket square:

here's the one by MaiTai

That Pique Fleuri de Provence is to die for!! So incredibly gorgeous! Which season is it from?

Bunnycat - Brilliant idea you have. I think I will have better use of my gavroche(s) and MORS from now on (on my wrist). Thank you for sharing :yahoo:

Our own MYH has some seriously hot looks as I recall...come on honey, show us how it is done!!
Oh the pressure sparklelisab! I'll try to come up with some fun looks this week.

Ladies, I'm off topic (again) today. But then again, some of you may consider this "bright". :). Here's the mod pic of my new Circus 70 cw 10. (Twins with cherryblossum.)

Thanks for the request for mod pics @vitamina H bc I couldn't decide what to wear today and decided on the outfit bc of Circus request. :)

I love it so much and am so glad I didn't miss this cw.

Omg. I never wanted a twilly before but now I must have a twilly. Love it as a bracelet.

Welcome HoneyLocks! Your green Bateau is amazing and your braided Ciel is lovely on you!

Thank you:smile1:

Hello HoneyLocks, welcome to the realm of H-scarves-addicts! It was so nice to read your post and see your pictures!
My H-slippery-slope started in 2006 just as yours and this forum has become a source of H-knowledge and joy for me.
I am looking forward to your future posts!

First I have to improve my selfie-skills and clean my mirrors. All the other photos I took are a bit embarrassing :nogood:

Welcome Miss Honeylocks! What a great post explaining your descent down the orange post, a very interesting read. I too came to scarves via MaiTai and her blog. I also greedily read through Tango Tosca's Scarf Circus, isn't it fabulous? I feel the same way as you about scarves. I am also a relative newcomer to this forum and have found it tremendous fun and dangerously enabling!! Love your Bateau, such a wonderful design, have not got that one....yet....Very impressed with the scarf braided into hair, that is super advanced scarf magic!!

The braid was not hard to do since I often wear my hair braided (not as hot as loose and an alternative to all the up-dos. But the part that goes around as a hairband is always slipping off. :woot:

Last bright. Can't go through brights week without a chance to wear Paridaiza! (belted)

Whow, that is stunning: Love the colors, the "knot", the posture. A piece of art

Batch-posting pictures from this week.

Working from home wearing my Aux Portes du Palais to brighten up a casual shirt:

Enjoying the Highline here in NYC -- bright yellow Les Legendes de L'Arbre. Doesn't show well, but worn twisted multiple time along the bias fold and then wrapped twice around my neck.

Playing with crazy print combinations -- I bought this Gap shirt on clearance just because I thought it went with this Le Potager Extraordinaire. The scarf itself is not bright, but together, they are bright alright :graucho: I still cannot decide if they 'go' together, but it is really fun to wear at least :roflmfao:

We are twins on the Potager (see my avatar). This is such a happy design that also ties well. I have to try it with something patterned as well.

Thank you all for your nice words of welcome. At least here I am understood :D

Dear Scarfies, my last blast on colourful scarves. This theme has made me realise I have many colourful scarves, probably as I am a girl who likes max bang for her bucks, and feel get more for my money with bright pink/orange/green/purple etc rather than something subtle! Think that subconsciously I have developed what I will now call "The Dame Edna Test": is it something Dame Edna Everage would have a dress made out of? If yes, buy. Oh dear...

Here is my new to me Casques et Plumets which I blame on the Julie Abadie theme week and the delightful enabling I received then:

And here is old pic I found of my secondhand Kimonos and Inros (Annie Faivre) another one which passes the Dame Edna test.

And here's the baseline for the Dame Edna test.

:roflmfao::roflmfao::roflmfao::roflmfao::roflmfao:

I love your sense of humor.
Haven't you also written about the pink uniforms on that scarf as a suggestion to the military? Shocking bright colors migth really work as we learned from the picture of the fainted dog (Can't remember who posted it :-( )

The first one is what I want to achieve and fail miserably. Can you please teach us the SA way to tie a flower?
I love the Phoenix gavroche in that colorway, the carre in Lagoon (?) was my first scarf

Wow! Who knew? That's fabulous!

Beautiful chestnutty! Your flower knots are delightful. Omg, Phoenix came in a pocket square???? I missed it. [emoji25]. Love the Picque Fleuri, love.

So what's the subtle, or not so subtle, difference between the two flower knots please? You look fab as always.

both these looks are divine Miss Chestnutty. So pretty, I can see the flower knots are slightly different but no idea how...
