Pirula Here it is ! I love the way the design plays on the pointu format especially that the corners are filled with the flowery bits .
Loving all the brights this week but I felt subdued today. Sorry to be off theme with Le Monde est Vaste!

Oh to live in New England...sweltering hot weather last week to freezing cold and rainy this week...arghhhh! So to help me stay warm, wearing my very bright Peuple du Vent CSGM today.
Dear Scarfies, a contribution to Brights week: my Jonques et Sampans (Françoise de la Perrière ). I find the turquoise quite bright and I find this scarf quite hard to match with clothes. Note to self: may have made tactical error, should have used this scarf for upcoming ships, boats, sailing theme week???

Ok, what I am actually wearing today. Need to practice hotel selfies....
Charmante Animaux moussie and my new white clic-
Vitamina I also tried on the blue/ purple one, but thought it was too similar to my rose compass.
I just have one 140, and it is the pink moussie, so can't really answer your question n pros/cons of stole vs. 140. I do find the stole easy to just throw on. here are 2 ways to wear it.
Thanks Pocketbook Pup! Just so you know, your colvert kelly is stuck in my mind. I I ever came across one, I don't know if I would be able to say no because of your pics. It's too beautiful for anyone to be upset with you!
Not a bright at all... But a 70 for last week's theme.. H commes H blanc/noir/Gris Bleute. I'm a sucker for Gris Bleute.

Holsby, thank you for sharing this photo. I can almost smell the flowers just looking at the screen.
It's gorgeous, Sparklelisab! I am so aware of all the design components on it (feathers! leopard!) after the Julia Abadie week![]()
Bunnycat, this is lovely! Makes me think of mint ice cream...I wish I had some in the freezer right now!Love your Hapi also.
Edit: adding in because I think I missed your tutorial. I must try it with my MT! Thank you so much for detailed instructions.
Joannadyne, gorgeous! Love the green and the pink together. Bright and fresh.
What a great twin photo, Scholastican. Both MTs are lovely.
Oh Canuck, where are you located? The mere thought of cashmere makes me uncomfortable right now, I wish I were somewhere cooler. It's a beautiful shawl, however, and the combination of the pinks with khaki (or is it green?) is very becoming.
JRTGal, this is a beautiful scarf. Wear it in good health.
I have already shown this Amours mousseline, but I mostly wanted to show it together with my DVF Hoya dress in Palace Tiger Red (doesn't the name remind you guys of Tigre Royal?) to double up on the brightness. I may have mentioned I like red(no worries, the rest of the outfit and makeup was very subdued).
As usual, featuring my giant sportswatch because I am basically wearing the thing 24/7 now because of all the training. At least it's red and matches the outfit!

This is very easy! Instead of tying it like you would to make it in to an infinity scarf just tie it so it has "tails". You should still be able to wrap it a couple of times. It does mostly stay put, but you may have to move it around a little now and then. But if you criss cross (twist) the wraps once you have wrapped it, and make the knot sit on top of the crossed wraps instead of under, it tends to rest there better. Hope that made sense.
The slightly more difficult way to tie it is so the knot is adjustable (which I how I usually do them).
This is start of the adjustable knot I use for most things that are going to have a tail:

Put the other end through so it faces the opposite direction of the tail that has the knot in it:

you can tighten from either side of the knot. If you tighten the tail, you get a longer tail, so if you want less tail, tighten the side that runs up in to the scarf length. That's why I do this knot, because I often goof on how much tail I need (and you don't need a lot)

Stick it over you neck and wrap it! Then gently "braid" the wraps a couple of times to twist the wrap and make sure to place the knot and tail up on the topside.
Thank you for your kind comments!![]()
