Hello lovely scarfies!

I have thoroighly enjoyed seeing your sumptuous silks, and how you have turned them into wearable art :smile1: I hope it is ok to join in this week's bright theme. The brightest from my collection are both in the MT format - KACHINAS in bouton d'or/mysotis/vert and rose/vert/bleu :sunshine:

Bright Scarf week couldn't have been more perfectly timed - it is a grey, cold and rainy day here. A little Flamingo Party shawl to add some cheer, colour (and warmth)!:smile1:

Despite pitiful selfie skills (so many trashed photos featuring neck and chin that must belong to someone else, I'm sure of it!) I am determined to try to share something in return of for all the helpful pics I've pored over here.

This is my new-to-me Pavois which I think of as on-theme despite a lack of red/orange/neon, etc. The background is stark white and the whipping flags of turquoise and bright green make me ridiculously happy. Sorry..the pic is GIGANTIC.

Holsby, thank you for sharing this photo. I can almost smell the flowers just looking at the screen.

It's gorgeous, Sparklelisab! I am so aware of all the design components on it (feathers! leopard!) after the Julia Abadie week :D

Bunnycat, this is lovely! Makes me think of mint ice cream...I wish I had some in the freezer right now! :) Love your Hapi also.

Edit: adding in because I think I missed your tutorial. I must try it with my MT! Thank you so much for detailed instructions.

Joannadyne, gorgeous! Love the green and the pink together. Bright and fresh.

What a great twin photo, Scholastican. Both MTs are lovely.

Oh Canuck, where are you located? The mere thought of cashmere makes me uncomfortable right now, I wish I were somewhere cooler. It's a beautiful shawl, however, and the combination of the pinks with khaki (or is it green?) is very becoming.

JRTGal, this is a beautiful scarf. Wear it in good health.

I have already shown this Amours mousseline, but I mostly wanted to show it together with my DVF Hoya dress in Palace Tiger Red (doesn't the name remind you guys of Tigre Royal?) to double up on the brightness. I may have mentioned I like red  (no worries, the rest of the outfit and makeup was very subdued).

As usual, featuring my giant sportswatch because I am basically wearing the thing 24/7 now because of all the training. At least it's red and matches the outfit!

Not a bright at all... But a 70 for last week's theme. :). H commes H blanc/noir/Gris Bleute. I'm a sucker for Gris Bleute.

Decided to wear the brins d'or on an otherwise boring basic black outfit today

So much bright beauty!

Scarf1 Incredibly elegant and looks like it will be a real reach for piece , love the gentle colours.

Dear Scarfies, a contribution to Brights week: my Jonques et Sampans (Françoise de la Perrière ). I find the turquoise quite bright and I find this scarf quite hard to match with clothes. Note to self: may have made tactical error, should have used this scarf for upcoming ships, boats, sailing theme week???

Whatdya mean hard ? This is divine with what you are wearing , you are a secret stylist !

If you guys think that my dress and scarf match -- check out these silk gloves (last year's issue) with the same scarf! Different designs and different issue years, but they go really well together in an outfit!

This match is wild ! I adore Hermès red palette , all lovely though I find the cooler reds hard to wear .

Brins d'Or Is one of those designs that ties so well .Your colour way is fabulous .

Thank you, scarf1! The green is soooooo stunning on you! You helped me greatly by showing your pictures! I love following your adventures and seeing what beauties you find along the way! Are you still in Milano or somewhere new? Have fun, dear, and keep sharing your amazing finds!:smile1:
Thanks! Every time I get a new scarf, DH says " I think that one is my favorite!", LOL!

Today is last day in Paris. On to London tomorrow for a few days...then home to USA

OH oh. Hopefully you bought the last one. I already have 2 Jardin anglais scarves! :roflmfao:

Just returned from Kew with a couple of photos taken in the Waterlily House .
The lilies were are their best . Wore my fleece jacket with Legende Moghole pointu.
I was pleased with my amateurish photos because I love the way Victorian ironwork of the roof is reflected in the water
So freezing cold we stayed in the various glasshouses all day.

I love Cavalleria in all its formats and colors, and yours is spectacular!!!

Thank you moma!

I love Kew and esp. the waterlily pond. But yesterday the V&A was more comfortable.

Wonderful colours , is this the special edition for re opening of Bond Street store?
Also, lovely to see you in the yellow Concours shawl , twins on that one too!

Yes, for the re opening and nice to be twins!

You look beautiful frou frou. And those lilies are gorgeous.

I envy you your weather. We're sweltering in DC. "Cold" front coming. I'll take anything at this point.

frou frou when you have a free moment please, could I see a picture of your Legend Moghole pointu opened up? I am curious how they handled the outline of the elephant in a triangular scarf. Strictly for research purposes, you understand. :graucho: Thank you!

Love me a bright , and this Concours d'Etriers shawl is just the ticket for the chilliness of our weather .

Off to Kew Gardens for the day so shall try to post some brights from there later:bulb:

Well that is the perfect CSGM to wear to brighten the day at the gardens. Love it!! Congrats to owning such a Grail! :)

Could only attach one pic, here is the other one

You sure do make the stole look effortless. I just can't seem to handle the stole size. I throw it on and it just look BLAH :(

Great scarf, great pic, very stylish indeed.

Dear Bunnycat, tried to follow your instructions. Now trapped in my Maxi Twilly. Please alert the emergency services. Handsome firemen of 6ft plus only please.

Good grief, again with the total chic ness and cool! That skirt does remind me of Voyage de Pytheas too.

Buhahahah!! 😂😂 I'll go buy a MT and trap myself as well if 6ft plus firemen are coming to the rescue! ;)

Thanks Pudfish! :). As for "good grief" OT, but did you know they have a Snoopy movie, "The Peanuts Movie", coming out?!?!? Targeted towards kids but I'm sure producers know they're targeting the parents who loved and grew up with Snoopy! :). I'm excited. Lol ;). We'll be taking the kids, but really for me and DH. LOL ;)

Bunnycat you really rock this, you make it look beautiful and effortless! I have the same MT in different colourway but I am a bit wary of it, its length makes me fear food stain and dog hanging onto end misshaps. I need to get a grip and face my fears!!

Oh I love these, Graff is so cool. I love Photo Finish and have regretted selling the one I had in the red green turquoise colourway in misguided moment of guilt..

This looks fab and so impressed you mastered Arabesque's knot tutorials, the e8do I find so hard to do.

Wow, gorgeous colours

Your shawl is sumptuous. Hope your weather cheers up. Here in the UK the newspapers are promising us a heatwave soon - which will probably mean 60F in the sun for about 5 mins...
Pudfish thank you very much!

Fabulous brights everyone! It is rainy and cold here, but I’m on my way to a hot climate for a week.
Sparkle (another great CW of this scarf I am now obsessed with),
Bunnycat (and awesome striped shirt),
Joannadyne (two wonderful knots),
scholastican,
CanuckBagLover,
JRTgal (fab colors),
AnnaE (you really rock the red),
WillStarveForLV (I love pink and black together),
FrouFrou (that is an amazing yellow),
scarf1 (love the moussie with the white cardigan and clicclac!),
pudfish (intrigued by Jonques et Sampans and always like to see it in action)
Hope I didn't miss anyone.
And thank you, Vitamina, for the 70s love.
Thank you, momasaurus!

This looks fantastic bunnycat, I must dig out my fuchsia version of this design this week!

Gorgeous pursecrzy :smile1:

Oh, I have tried this design in this colorway so many times, and now seeing it again, I realize I need this!! Beautiful on you joannadyne, and tied so well!

I love this display scholastican, stunning MT's!

Twins!! canuckbaglover, I think I may need this today with a drastic change in temperature where I am!

I can totally relate on the selfie front JRTgal, love your scarf and your selfie turned out perfect!
Thank you, Bova123!

Love this!! Twins!! Funny you call this bright... I think of it as a neutral with just a pop of color. Hahaha :).

You sure are making the MT tempting..that green is beautiful!! And love that it's a "crossover" scarf!! :)

Wow!! Mod pic of graft please! :)

Beautiful scarf and amazingly tied knots!! I couldn't only hope to accomplish more knots one day. Lol ;(

More MTs to enable me?? Nooo... These colors are darling!! :)
Thank you, jp_536!

Wow Mrs. Valentino, all together is superb!!!

If I only I had Mrs. Valentino's money tree. Lol ;). Thank you :)

You look absolutely gorgeous, jp_536!! A perfect summer look!

Thank you! The cashier at one of our favorite "at home" feeling neighborhood restaurants thought I was so cool. Lol. He said, "love the shoes.." Then saw the skirt, and says "whoa! Cool skirt! Love the whole outfit. You are so cool". Hahhaha. So funny! :)

Love the colors in Della cavalleria!! :) And you too with the yellow Grail, but I'm not surprised you have it.. You have them all! :)
