Me too frou frou. I've always been a clear "Winter". No doubt about it, blues, reds, emerald green, amethyst, black and bright white, all super flattering. I'd still wear other classic colors occasionally , like camel, because I like them, and never felt like I looked bad, just not as good. Mostly, I'll wear these colors as skirts or pants, away from my face. Then one day a year ago, I was at the Neiman's cosmetic counter buying a Jo Malone gift for my friend's birthday. I was wearing this yellow sundress that I'd just purchased in spite of the color because I loved it. I got, no kidding, four separate customers stop and tell me how great I looked in that dress/color. "HUH?!" But okay thank you!

So then I start to think, gee, maybe I'm more neutral. So I take a chance on an absinthe scarf, then a bright orange, and lo and behold, they work. But all of you here seem to agree that so far "pink is my color." No surprise there, it's just true, along with red and blue, and thusly purple. But I love that I can at least pull off most colors because Hemes, to me, is all about color.

My hair, dark brown, with red highlights. My eyes hazel, my veins green AND blue, my complexion fair. I get red first, then tan. But I really don't gravitate to most of the "warm" tones of colors like olive, gold, etc. I look fine in both gold and silver jewelry. So yeah, I'm lucky. I'm neutral. I can have some fun!!

And so now, here I am seriously considering Tyger in the rouge, coral, salmon cw. Why not? Worth a try! Too fun.

Hot and Humid here, but no rain or thunderstorms…

I came out a "cool" for almost all your questions, Lisa. I have always been attracted to cool colors -blue, green , purple, bluish reds rather than orange, gold, yellow.
Colors like dusty pink, grayish toned colors, do me no favors…

And I love the ocean from navy to aqua to teal.
Let's see what is my fav color?
(note: I do have a few scarves NOT pictured… LOL!)
What a gorgeous collection - a sea of blue scarves. Love! :smile1:

Okay, this is just eye candy right here. [emoji7][emoji497][emoji497]

You look wonderful in a plissé, especially if it's pink!.

Your blue, aqua, teal and green scarf collection is seriously beautiful Scarf1
Do you have a few red and black scarves lurking somewhere?
if not I admire you for knowing your own mind so well .Said by one who likes to wear a rainbow….:D
Yes I do have some other color scarves! that would be a pic with many fewer scarves, LOL!

Thought a few of you might find this interesting. About 30 years ago I had my "colors" done.
Consisted of holding up different swatches of fabric. It was all more complicated than that, but to be honest, I don't remember the details. I do still have the fabric fan of color swatches I was given (had not actually looked at this in ages). Rather than just say you are a "winter" or "summer", once they picked out all the swatches, she said something like you are 60% season 1, 30% season 2 and 10% season 3…

Anyway the first pic is my complete fan including the metals best for me- silver, gold or copper.
I do wear both gold and white gold/silver jewelry.

2nd pic is the subset of clothing colors I actually wear.

Of course back then my hair was brown, and now it is silvery… Not sure if that changes what looks best on me...

Your post reminds me of Roger and Me, the documentary by Michael Moore in 1989 on the impact of GM plant closings on his hometown of Flint Michigan. Part of the film was looking at other job opportunities for people who lost their jobs with GM. There was one scene I distinctly remember of woman who was really sweet and did people's colours and determined whether they were autumn, summer etc and Michael Moore agreed to have his "colours" done and this was all filmed but the poor lady got the colours all wrong (for herself and Michael Moore) and the company she worked was so horrified about this being on screen that they actually reshot her with her "correct" colours and reshot the scene with Michael Moore and his colours. It was funny but kind of sad at the same time.

I had my colors done about 15 years ago and I was told I was a cool winter. I have dark brown hair and blue/ green/ grey eyes that charge depending on what I wear. Since I started dying my hair I have a touch more warmth in it, but I'm trying to keep it very neutral. Blues, greens and purples definitely get me the most compliments. Most of my scarves are in this color family but usually with a warm twist that allows me to wear my gold birkin which was a gift from DH. My second love is neutrals. And then there are my wild cards that I just loved and seem to work for me, probably because they contain at least some cool colors.

Someone once told me the colors we are attracted to tend to look the best on us. Do you think that is true?

If you're a neutral like I am (I very much am), then the rouge/coral/salmon Tyger will be amazing on you. I tried it and almost couldn't take it off. It's superb.

I've been learning over the past few years just how neutral my coloring is. I can wear warm or cool, ivory or blinding white, silver or gold (well, I'm allergic to gold)...

Red is my "color"—of all shades, warm and orange-y to cool and a wine grenat shade. Here are a couple of brilliant new red scarves I've gotten recently...
