This is gorgeous Cherry, I have never seen this design before, I adore it!

Meanwhile, here is my contribution to French week. It's Françoise de la Perrière's design La France, a rather bedragged eBay rescue.

I was amused to find, among the many elements featured on it, a snail. As we are dealing with the French here, query whether the snail is there for natural history reasons or as an example of their culinary art...(I do not mean to offend anyone French, but I am always amazed by their ability to turn the most unlikely things into dinner).

I think my dog might be French, he was busy doing this today while I was taking scarf photos. Just needs a nice lemony sauce...

What a find! Gorgeous scarf! As for your doggy, I'm sure he's cute enough to get away with just about anything..

I think this little guy fits in the this week's theme. Les Tambours with the drums of the Garde Nationale, first modeled by Tiny (You can see he was *thrilled*), then me. :p

Happy Bastille Day! Vive la France!

Soiree today, in honor of.
Fabulous. Looks great as a belt.

Happy Bastille Day, dear scarf lovers!

I had much the same thought as Pirula, it seems! The summer days are too much for pulling some of my France-centered scarves around the neck—but around the waist definitely works.

Here are two that I've been wearing this week as I do errands:

Promenades de Paris in rouge/fuchsia/gris

&

Minuit au Faubourg in Soleil/Orange/Brun
So adorable and fun looking.
I could have worn the Rive Droite Rive Gauche Twilly today (but it was too hot for any extraneous adornment). Vive la France!
Very cute.
Inspired by mousseline week, I bought this lovely Le Monde est Vaste from a great reseller...I had admired MYHs Monde for quite a while and these colors captured my heart....
Love the colors of this one. Looks great with the jacket.

In a hurry and I have to downsize photos to post them - time consuming

Got interrupted on the first attempt to post - hope I get it right this time

Amoureux de Paris from the 2006ca reissue - where the cws are either DULL DULL DULL or neon bright , I kinda went for neon

Love the adaptation of the 16th century map of Paris with all the lovers - Abelard and Heloise are on the left bank , so cute

Ans sorry I dont do modeling pix - way too shy for that ...

Oh dear! I LOVE this cw. Is it a 90, marietouchet? I wish they'd re-reissue!

Yes, it is as 90cm twill, they also did it in 45cm gavroche around the same time but it has not been in done in any other formats, I think

Wow it's cool! I love this design. I have the gavroche, which was purchased for my husband, but is now mine. [emoji6][emoji56]. I wish it was a 90 to show off the design better, but I'm delighted to have it at all. Beautiful!
