Rushing off to work... Soiree de gala. View attachment 3063204
It looks great. Lighting is so difficult, but it otherwise looks good on my phone and iPad.
This looks great on you BJS, and I love how you have it tied...not like a bird at all lol!!
Great job with the collier knot pirula, you look great!
Thank you momasaurus...I think that CW and perhaps your CW, or even the one with the cream background and some jewel tones may work for me...must get to the store to try them on!!
PirulaDespite the poor lighting I think you look good
PocketbookPup - Like your look with the scarf ring. Just wondering if it will slide or did you secure with a "secret tool" like magnets?![]()
And here is my contribution to this week's theme: Promenades de Paris.
I love how you tie it. Would you mind sharing how you do it? and hi twin, this one is one of my favorites.![]()
I see the wings now! How cool...![]()
Just poking my nose in... Bleut is a word in French. It connotes both a specific flower and that flower's color (which is blue).
Love that Minuit on you, bostonjetset.

Thanks Bova .. my first attempt with a polo-T and my DH teased that I am the "home-attendant" (aka airline attendant). :giggles:Another outfit put together with perfection jp_536!
Such a lovely collection scarf1, I have been on the prowl for both a Noel and Les Parisiennes for a long time now!
Adorable lyseiki, this is a great design!
Double twinsies!Wish I was twins on all 3!! Need a Noel Au FSH in my life too!! But right now, I'm only lucky enough to be twins on Pytheas and Parisiennes!![]()
I still need to try this knot. Very pretty.View attachment 3063158
Rendez vous in collier knot today. Despite my best efforts, couldn't get it to work with scarf rings so had to tie it. Which is fine. Wrong bra for this and no time to change, so cardi is required. Hope you like it!
Love this! And the scarf ring! hmm I may need to get one of those tubular rings....Rushing off to work... Soiree de gala. View attachment 3063204
Thank you. The scarf ring is the Kelly lock. It just slides. It works very well to hold 90s in any position and doesn't slide off.
Thank you Moma. Yours is beautiful! Can't wait to see more of it.
LOL! I was guessing maybe the flower would be cornflower! Its Bleuet . Cornflower.
You can use any word to name a color in french. Even those not generic or official.
This is why Hermes uses all those names for their colors. Some sound cute or poetic, and some sound just funny, or pathetic, or even horrendous sometimes.
Anemone for example, is a flower name too, and its a color name in Hermes books.
The right wording would be "couleur anemone",
but any french person (with a minmal level of education) understands if you say "A nice anemone silk blouse" that anemone is meant and understood as the color of the blouse.
Hope this helps.
