Beautiful!!

Pudfish- RO is one of my favorite scarves! I looked at your pix before reading your text carefully, and I thought, wow! How did she tie the gavroche so it looks that loose? She must have a REALLY skinny neck! but then I realized you used the scarf ring! :roflmfao:
Now I need a scarf ring and a gavroche! LOL!

Thank you, scarf1!

Lots of replies- hope this doesn't get too confusing!

Thank you ladies, for the scarf love!!! :flowers:

And it is stunning! What a gorgeous blue!

Thank you Pudfish!

Pudfish- these are all completely fabulous! It's really hard to pick a winner stylewise here. I like them all on you! (I'm actually a little partial to the first one, or maybe the second, or wait..maybe the third! It's a photo finish!) And what a great idea for a Mors extender for the gavroche!

bunnycat, thank you Brazil-sister!

I'm trying to figure out the multi-quote thing. So, if this doesn't work...thank you bunnycat, frou frou, Croisette and Pudfish for the Costumes love. Still not sure if I can ever bring it out of the box and into the real world!

Grrr...I see it didn't work.

JRTgal you should wear it!

Wearing my blue MT Brazil today

Lovely as always Croisette!!

Do you ever wear the MT in a cowl style [ends knotted together to form a loop and then wrapped twice or thrice around the neck]? If so, do you had a mod shot? I am considering an MT for that purpose and I know you have a complete library of scarves and ways to wear them!! HAHA ;)

First thank you to all of you who left nice comments about my last pic, I am so sorry I do not thank you individually, inexcusable really, I will try harder in future. I find it hard to keep up!

Yesterday I fiddled about with blue and red gavroche Rencontre Oceane.

Not sure whether I liked it inside or outside shirt. Oh the scarfie dilemmas!
Also tied a knot in it as per MYH's* casual wearing method, as in first pic it was a bit poufy.

I used my Mors ring to give me extra length so not throttling me.

Such an adorable pattern on that gavroche!!

*think it was MYH but this is from memory so pls forgive/put me right if this is wrong - I do know it was from the How to wear your Hermes scarf casually thread.

I really love this pudfish. Making a mental note to do this once I acquire a mors ring.

Dear lanit, as promised a comparison

Croisette: You are an encyclopedia. Very striking pattern - kind of has an Asian feel. What is this pattern? (on the right) Thanks for posting.

Here is my contribution to the RWB theme:
En avant toute! (Full speed ahead!)
The scarf design that started my Hermes addiction.:D

Taking QM2 from NY to Southampton is now our fav method of traveling to Europe while beating jet-lag.

Original QM2 version (2004) and 2009 version (Queen Mary 2 on hull omitted)both shown in first pic.
The 2009 version is just red, white, blues and hot pink so seems closest to 4th of JUly week colors!

Scarf1: The Red White and Blue "streamers" are delightful. love Love LOVE!
I like your travel method - how long does it take? It's a shame that I get seasick :shucks:

Thanks essiedub!
The qm2 takes 7 nights for crossing NYC to Southampton. 5 days you lose an hour so that by time you arrive in UK you are on local time. The QM2 is the only ship currently in use built for North Atlantic conditions and has stabilizers. I have not had problem with seasickness although did feel quesy once when at the front of ship. amidships or towards back are better.

Thank you, the right one is Sieste du Paradis from the A/W-collection 2015.

BJS, thank you. I haven't worn it in a cowl style but will do when the weather is cooler (with modpic!).
