The scarf design that started my Hermes addiction.
Taking QM2 from NY to Southampton is now our fav method of traveling to Europe while beating jet-lag.
Original QM2 version (2004) and 2009 version (Queen Mary 2 on hull omitted)both shown in first pic.
The 2009 version is just red, white, blues and hot pink so seems closest to 4th of JUly week colors!

Yesterday I fiddled about with blue and red gavroche Rencontre Oceane.
Not sure whether I liked it inside or outside shirt. Oh the scarfie dilemmas!
Also tied a knot in it as per MYH's* casual wearing method, as in first pic it was a bit poufy.
I used my Mors ring to give me extra length so not throttling me.
*think it was MYH but this is from memory so pls forgive/put me right if this is wrong - I do know it was from the How to wear your Hermes scarf casually thread.

I like it all three ways but inside the shirt is sexier Pudfish. Go for that. And tell your teenage boy I said so.
Love these pics, Pudfish, particularly the little fishy necklace with the scarf! I am about to receive my first gavroche and am a bit worried that it might strangle me. At least it gives me a good reason to hunt out a mors scarf ring!

Pudfish- RO is one of my favorite scarves! I looked at your pix before reading your text carefully, and I thought, wow! How did she tie the gavroche so it looks that loose? She must have a REALLY skinny neck! but then I realized you used the scarf ring!
Now I need a scarf ring and a gavroche! LOL!
