My SOTD is off topic. I wish I wore my scarves when I was in Japan as I made sure to bring Samourai and ELeK with me, but it was too darn hot and humid to wear them.

Scarf OTD is Feux d'Artifice. We had a spectacularly wet New Year's Eve but the fireworks went up at midnight without a hitch.
Stone OTD is garnet in fuchsite with fossil bone carvings.

Oh, Pautinka, my long-lost twin, I should have gotten this NDOP cw, too! I love the burgundy and the slightly metallic sheen of the silk... but didn't like that green border! Your knot is the best way to wear it, if I had gotten this one IMO!

Thank you litchi! I agree re the green but it actually does lift the whole scarf with its brightness. As you know, I don't wear green as a base colour but this has so much else going on with its gold, brown, blue and pinky-red that I couldn't say no! I had tried on a different cw back home a month ago and it did nothing for me but I think this one will be up there on my list of most adaptable. Its warm metallic sheen is quite unlike anything else I have.

How I love a good Zaba, and this is certainly one
I keep mine it the box , unlike most of my silks which live in a huge orange box. Therefore I forget I have it , and it's such a glorious scarf to wear IMO , lifts my face and my spirits simultaneously!

I have a few pictures - well 2 - that are actual ‘scarf on site, but you can’t really see the scarves. One is Fauconnerie Royal Deduit at the Falconry at the Greenbrier; the other was Les Fusils while shooting skeet (I ‘look’ very official [emoji38]). I have a few taken while we were in France, but the topic isn’t Scarves I Wore in France - Totally Random. [emoji6][emoji5]
