sorry to disappoint you, both my vessels in ops are having simple, old style black onesThe oligarch-sharks have their standards you know he he
Ah, this is not the wedding outfit. This was SOTD office wear. You look beautiful, love this double idea.
Did DH give a reason?
Ah, this is not the wedding outfit. This was SOTD office wear.
I showed DH a few possibilities. One in a brown with purple undertones was judged too dark for a Chinese wedding. Another had spaghetti straps and he thought I would freeze in the overzealously airconned ballroom (a shawl would get in the way as I'd have to reach out for food from the dish in the centre of the round table). Another was floorlength silk and I'd have to teeter in heels. I am searching the wardrobe to find something in exotic bright Indian bling which is always a safe choice.
Aww! How cool is that! My goodness moma... what a collection! I stared at each one for a long while and couldn’t pick one that I would prefer over the other. They are each stunning in their own way. This is one design that I must search for
Thank you both! Well, we do already have one husky.....And I have all these scarves, so that should be enough, right?Inspiring collage, moma! I like the pink and red ones on you. I love snow when it's crisp and dry; not so when slushy or slippery. Maybe you can start with one husky?A whole sled team might be challenging! LOL
Oh how fabulous!! Except for the cold and dark, I like the (idea of) the Arctic!!I used to live in the (Norwegian) Arctic. Plenty of huskies in town but none of them pulled sledges. Super-fit OAPs gliding down the snowy roads in their foot-powered scooter-sledges shopping was always a wonderful sight, many of them overtaking the cars.
And that plume!!!More fiesta than Winter solstice, SOTD Appaloosa, Plume and hat coming back from a family gathering yesterday. Colours are a bit off, the 'orange' in the scarf is actually red and some of the 'yolk-yellow' is orange (the rest of my outfit was black)

I have a soft spot for the weird mint and red one because it is so odd, but my fave is the aubergine, I just love the balance of colors on that one.Beautiful! My favs are the light blue one and the purple one. Which is your fav?

Not on theme today because I'm knee-deep in wedding prep. DH has vetoed my choice for attending his nephew's wedding this weekend, so I'm excavating the wardrobe for something with more bling.
Double-wrapped against the office aircon which is making a valiant attempt to create winter in the tropics: Pivoines plus a non-H indulgence.

time to show off my Noel as well![]()
Does this Les Ailes cw count as festive? I feel the H gold/ochre-tinged scarves are holiday-party appropriate.
