But I haven't worn them in years, because now I always wear an H scarf over a sweater and I haven't been able to think how to make a brooch work with that look. :coolio:

Yay!!! Can’t wait to see what you come up with! I live in a tropical hot and humid climate and my brooches will snag my blouses and we seldom get to wear knits and jackets, so I’ve devised this way to wear my pins. And in so doing, I get to wear two of the accessories I love most

Ok. Now I’ve been inspired to wear my Songe de la Licorne. The coloring is so light and delicate that I have worn it only once for fear of staining and/or damaging it. But, I’ve taking it out to play today! Inspired by so many of you! Love that unicorn under my chin and that almost medieval illustrated manuscript design

But of course! :p I think a bevy of rampaging gryphons counts as fantastical. And I'm not sure what the baby calf/deer/donkey littles are with the long ears either....

Fantastical nekkid mermaid fish lady on Cliquetis...I can hardly believe I got to wear a cashmere sweater today!
