It's been an amazing week hearing about everybody's collections and favourite designers - I have been very green-eyed (in a nice way, I hasten to add!) and I am sure I haven't helped climate change one little bit with all my sighing! [emoji16] I couldn't contribute this week, only having a mini collection (although my DH did come into my dressing room yesterday and say," WHAT are all those orange boxes?" Hahaha!), but I can tell already that my leanings are more towards Faivre and Dallet. Who knows however? That may change as I purchase more delicious creations. Thanks to all who shared this week. It really helps novices like me who have recently entered the school of silk!
Whilst on the topic of designers, did anybody else spot this little nugget of info this week on the HSC page on FB?

Thanks, Pautinka -- we did several designers in the previous SOTD thread (the one before this one).
Here's a link to Ledoux week last May:

I don't really have a fave designer. My SA is trying to address this flaw in my H love: one slow night, she made me sit down and search for monkeys when she realized that I couldn't recognize AF designs outright :confused1:
If I had to choose a fave designer, it would have to be Toutsy. As ABQ said about how she bought Annie Faivre designs even though she didn't realize that they were by AF, I found that about half of my recent (designer-blind) purchases off the bay and elsewhere were by Toutsy. She takes top spot due to my MP obsession: around 15 at the moment. I have a couple of Brazils and a Chants du Henne, but in honour of the phoenix, here's a selection of the part of the design which enthralls me most - the glamourous tail feathers on 2 gavroches, 2 90s and the exceptionelle,

OMG, you have the embroidered one!
Can you please post a photo of it worn? That is such a precious one! *faint*

Thank you ABQ2ATL. Apologies then for taking up photo space on the thread! What a talented man he was -"and a fascinating life to boot. I am grateful for you sharing the link. [emoji257][emoji257]
No need to apologize -- we always have scarfies coming and going on the thread, so it's fine to share information when you find it. On the first page of each SOTD (Scarf of the Day) thread, there's a list of the themes for the year, so you can scan that for designers or topics that might interest you.

I've got a play and a dinner to attend this afternoon and evening, so I'll officially begin the Year of the Rooster when I return...
Please continue to enjoy sharing favorite designers and SOTDs till I get back -- I love reading about and seeing all your beautiful choices.

Thank you dear ABQ2ATL, I hope you don't mind if I start by posting my SOTD for this week's theme. It isn't a rooster, but is a beautiful winged creature, the Zebra Pegasus. An Alice Shirley design, this is colorway 11. It was my first silk 90, made even more special because it was a gift from my sweet husband. What drew me to this design, other than the beauty of the scarf, was the video that was posted by Hermes in La Maison des Carres. It features a precious zebra, whose one wish is to be able to fly.

I agree with your choice of Philippe Ledoux, Maedi and Momasaurus. It's said that his horses were a great favorite of Robert Dumas, who first hired Ledoux in 1947. The creator of Napoleon (among many others) he specialized in ships and horses -- I'm happy to have found this unusual colorway recently (from 1967):

Awesome! How did I miss that viddie?? So cute. I love my magenta ZP.

Today I went through the entire week of posts - what fun to see the designs and artists that so inspire other scarf lovers! My only surprise was in not seeing KO represented.

I don't know why, but for some reason I have never been particularly aware of the various artists - with the exception of KO and probably Annie as their designs are recogniza to me

This is beautiful. I feel that the composition and mood of the Ledoux scarves are like a favorite painting and really draw me in. They may not tie as strongly as other designs but they are fabulous to look at get lost in.

One of my favourite artists is Annie. Today with her VOYAGE EN ETOFFE
