Great transition from last week to this! I love how rough wood block cut and graphic the Belle Etoile is.
Thanks Litchi, a Christine Henry design - www.hermes.com - issued in 2001 to coincide with the launch of the H website. These are fabulous scarves, orchard! May I know what the 3rd one is called? Lately, I'm drawn to scarves with maps!![]()
Love this!
Thank you, and thanks for all the likes. Super-H to the rescue!!Excellent! Clever thinking (and I'm staring right at one of mine ha ha)
I'll follow your lead when I get some time X
Thank you, BJS. My iPhone takes lousy pix, because IRL these colors scream AUTUMN: very orangey and teal. I have more than enough Xmas scarves, LOLOL!Why thank you dear
Lovely. This would be a perfect Xmas scarf in these colors!
Best colorway of this design. So gorgeous!
Interesting - I was actually wondering if a full moon at midnight is ever in that position in the sky. I think it's higher, but astronomy is not my specialty....!!You solved a mystery for me, moma. I was wondering if that was the setting sun or the full moon -- of course, it's the moon! A signal to Super H would hardly be seen at dusk.
You will see my dilemma here...maybe a lunar eclipse?

Very clever! Also great details. You make me want this Cosmos....Contributing my Cosmos with its star-studded midnight blue sky:

And this scarf which I meant to post on Sunday but RL got in the way. It's a crossover from last week's theme - A boat named Belle Etoile

Interesting --- It took me a long time to come around to it too. I'm also not a big fan of KO's similar designs either, those giant Native American heads! But these colors are truly wonderful and I have become quite fond of the princess. This is the most amazing cw and ties in sooo many different ways! I absolutely love it---Wa'ko-Ni was so off my radar until I saw the colors and had to have it! You look fabulous in it and I'm thrilled we are twins…ps...I also think a lot of people dismissed the design when it came out for some reason…just like I did.
Yep, I ordered a pony snaffle online for under $20 -- it's heavy, but not as heavy as a horse bit.I got mine from a horse's mouthtrue
