Nothing is too nerdy here, my dear. We only collect these expensive scarves for their instructive and enlightening aspects, right? #academia LOL

Hahaha! Love this and agree! When I told my friend in Dallas that I would like to visit the Samurai museum there and would she mind?

She paused and said, "Uh, why the sudden interest in samurais?" I said, "Well, there's this scarf ..." to which she interjected, "Oh, of course there's a scarf involved!" and we laughed.

Got lovely scarf mail yesterday, Astrologie in pochette form, it's so dinky, has all the details of the 90 but in smaller form. So am sharing Pisces and Cancer.

While I was trawling evilBay yesterday in manner of crazed scarf addict I saw this, which I feel is appropriate in its own way:

Look at Holsby's Sous les Orangers link above, then just for fun, compare Benoît-Pierre Emery's Hermès a Beverly Hills for a look at the H logo shimmering under the water of a swimming pool shaded by palm trees in the California sun:

And then look at artist David Hockney's swimming pool paintings for yet another view of water in an enclosed space:

Water is essential in life. No wonder we are so fascinated in looking at water in movement IRL or water made to art by an artist. Thanks for the links!

I was wearing FP yesterday and today not even realising I was on-theme (though sadly not green too) . Suddenly it's cold again but I'm not moaning

This is one of my favorite pairings of your bamboo Plume. I'm thoroughly intimidated by this bag in this color, and I marvel at how effortless you make it seem[emoji851]

P.S. I'll bet this combination brings some spring cheer to your mother on your visits. Best wishes for her speedy recovery, and your student's as well.

Thank you textilegirl, most of my other bags, H included are slightly more 'sensible', I think everyone has their own pop colour they feel comfortable with.

My mother is still not quite herself yet but she asked me first thing the other day whether I'd found my scarf and was happy that I had, so embarrassing. My student is making very progress I'm glad to say.

I was going to same some of these for the Neutral Week theme, but, since they haven't been posted…a few more water babies:

Dear bruxelles70, I love this set of neutrals! What a lovely scarf collection you must have! Thank you for sharing your treasures! I wish such intricate designs would come up again.
Today wearing Jonques et Sampans, bad photo as dog was pulling on my ankle. Sometimes I find the turquoise and gold too blingy but today it's grey and windy in the UK so I found it cheering.

This is gorgeous on you, Pudfish!

I love your blue water scarves, Holsby! And the scarf colours look more enticing on you than photographed flat.
Holsby, you look stunning in blue!

Moma, rocking the greens today!

Happy St. Paddy's Day everyone. Watch out for those H leprachauns! Flamingo Partying in the waters and fronds....

Gorgeous colours on you, lanit!

I love this, Holsby! Nothing like fearsome sea creatures to accompany a ship in its voyage! I think the designs now evoke calm and, dare I say, a prettiness more than moving drama.

Thank you for all the Likes on my recent posts, dear scarfies! I really love this week's eye candy from all of you gorgeous H collectors.

Ah, bruxelles -- there's Mare Nostrum...and with two more lovely water-themed silks. Well-done!
And I at least found a bit of my Mare Nostrum, this time paired with a Tapis Volante plisse for two-scarf week. You can see the lovely fish spouts that grace each corner!

Beautiful green scarves, dear Scarf Mistress! But this two-scarf combination is stunning with its gorgeous design and cw!
