Congratulations on your treasure Elaine, you wear it so nice!Off-theme, but it is what I'm wearing tonight, as my DH and I take my mother out to dinner for her 90th birthday.
Inspired by our dear birkinmary's brilliant video tribute to Philippe Ledoux, my first Ledoux scarf: a new-to-me Napoléon, tied three ways, ending in MYH's brilliant cowl. A perfect way to wear a scarf to dinner (no ends to trail in the onion soup!![]()
Today's contribution is another favorite x 3: Monsieur et Madame in two cws of regular twill, the brown one embroidered in Madison with initials and the t-shirt edition:
Wow Birkinmary you model your M et M pair so beautifully and your photos are fantastic.
What a brilliant Tohu Bohu collection too .
Scarf babes -
Last time we had this theme, I showed you my 7s. I didnt do this design since I thought I only had 6 but looks like I miscounted.
In roughly chronological order: top row are Carnevals, bottom row are Fetes.
Seton What is it about this collection that draws me in like no other ?
I find the design fascinating, beautiful and scary . I had to let mine go as the c'way didn't work and miss not being able to look at those mysterious masked figures .
The GM has that extraordinary border , love to see more of that sometime.....
Thanks so much for sharing these.
Thank you my dear for missing me. I'm travelling a lot. Just returned last night and travel again in a few days. So it's a bit stressy for me to pull out my huge multiples. If I find time I will try to post only a fewCROISETTE7- Where are you?? We are waiting for your multiple silks! Let us enjoy them..![]()
I continue to be surprised and delighted (and sometimes a little embarrassed) at the realizations I have about my scarf drawer thanks to this thread. To wit: had you asked me yesterday how many multiples I had, I'd have said I have a couple patterns in different formats. Well... peering through my scarf drawer it seems that in reality I have multiple Marwari, C'est la Fete, Rencontre Oceane, L'Instruction du Roy, Les Flots du Cheval, Splendeur des Maharajas, Axis Mundi, and Magic Kelly. :shame:

of them. Hope for your understanding, spinkapallina.
Croisette I can only imagine your multiples ....
On a serious note, love to know how you organise your collex ....as in if you want a certain piece how the heck do you find it?
My technique is to pull out all the boxes and start going through them until I find the right one at the bottom of the pile.
I love your blues, scarf1!And here is another of the light blue CW
