Sparkle - you found your BOAR charm - yipee! What will your next one be? :graucho: I do wear my mousselines year round - I especially enjoy them around the holidays because they look dreamy with LBD. Let's talk again though in January to see if our temps have lowered enough for the cashmeres.

Pierina - I meant to tell you how much I enjoyed seeing your beautiful driveway (!) It made me want to leap into the scenery and I can well imagine the rest of your home and garden must be heavenly.

croisette - your beautiful autumn images and silks leap off the pages of the thread! You are tempting me with hunting for a plumes silk - should I search for mousseline or a cashmere? The ones you have are to die for.

seton - Sesame is quite a special beauty. I also see a resemblance to the Metamorphosis design. I love how the lavender pops out a bit here and there.
Dear lanit, if you can, I would recommend to go on a hunt for both. Although both are rarher difficult to
catch. I will post some more for the feather-week.

Here's my choice on the Zebra Pegasus - It took me forever to decide on a colorway with so many eye popping choices.

I think it is such a dramatic and wonderful design to wear and to view flat. I want to frame this one some day. More photos on the AW 2014 thread.

Congrats lanit on your decision for the blue one ... we are sisters.

My three "autumnal" scarves:
Sangles, tied in a messy semi-cowboy knot
La Vie au Grand Air, tied to highlight the autumn leaves on the border
Libres Comme l'Air (Plus a bonus close-up of the monkey that A.F. puts in most of her scarves. I just love the way the heron is looking at the monkey, as if to say "Where did you come from? This is a bird scarf, silly!"):smile1:
Oh Elaine, 3 gorgeous carres in dreamy colors ... congrats!

At the risk of staying OT, Maedi, I have to say that I love Narcissus too! They're so graceful. And no one eats them. Thalia is a favorite here.

Yes, Croisette, there's nothing better after a long winter than cutting a bouquet of daffodils to bring inside. Love your Mini Brides cashmere scarf, beautiful colors.

cherryblossum you look super in your new cashmere shawl and tweed jacket, well done! Lovely trees, it's wonderful to see everyone's Fall leaves tuning.

Beautiful pictures, VesperSparrow, and your Sous Bois is very pretty.

You're looking stunning, as always, birkinmary. As symphony of neutrals. The Tigre kimono is superb!

Melora - Not the first to point this out, but pink is always on theme.

What a great picture, sopieg - that's one happy pumpkin!

Very pretty, lanit, fantastic mousseline colors for any time and perfect for Fall. And congrats on your new Zebra, you can't go wrong with blue.

Ohh, perfect match between foliage and scarf, momasaurus!

GorgeousAxis Mundi, sparklelisab, it's lovely on you.

ElainePG - Terrific choices! It's a treat to see the Libres, and the colorway's striking.
Thank you, dear pierina for your nice comments!

Happy birthday to your mother, ElainePG and many congratulations on your Napoleon, you couldn't have chosen better for a first Ledoux. Do you mind telling me how you tied the scarf in the last photo? I love it!

Thank you, birkinmary... you were my inspiration for that Napoléon, you know! If it had not been for your stunning video, I probably would have gone quite some time without a Ledoux, and it would have been my sad loss. I have also read what you wrote about this scarf on your wonderful blog, 63 Gramos, and was fascinated to learn about the paintings that inspired the greyscale artwork in the corners. Until I read your blog, I did not realize that Ledoux based his drawings on actual paintings. Thank you so much for contributing to my education!:smile1:

Now... here is some "education" for you! The knot in the last picture is from our dear MYH, who demonstrated it on the SOTD thread here:

http://forum.purseblog.com/hermes/h...lk-twill-casually-883586-21.html#post27619761

She made it so easy to follow, step-by-step. You will see! And it is fascinating how it changes the entire character of the scarf. It has become my favorite knot, especially for dinners.:p The one thing I have noticed about the Ascot Cowl... it works best if the silk is soft. My Napoléon arrived with a great deal of sizing on it (at least, I am assuming it is sizing; perhaps starch?). I don't know if the seller did this, or if it had never been worn, and it came that way from Hermès, or if jacquards are by nature stiffer scarves. But when I tied it last night, I found that it did not drape quite as easily as, for example, my Circus scarf, which I have owned since 1990, and is very soft and supple. Now I am not sure whether to give my Napoléon a "bath," or just keep wearing it often until it softens up!

Florasun, I love your mousse and your 90 (it's perfect with the rose cardan)

Scarf1, this is the perfect memorabilia for scarf addict! Good choice :)

Jp_536, 2 of the same cw and same size could be useful ;)

Cherryblossum, all 4 scarves look good on you :) I guess going multiples is a good choice!

Frou frou, you look so stylish!

katekluet your Jungle love are nice, but your ZP are just too good to be true!

mimi Interesting choice of cw. The DD seems so different.

BirkinMary as always, your scarf/bag combinations are beautiful, and the twillys are just like cherys on top of the cakes!

honeyshopper i don't see any wrinckles, I only see amazing scarves. I'm especially fond of the black one.

ElainePG I'm glad to see your green an red Napoleon doesn't look too chrsist#as tee8

chestnutty[/] thr. Stunoing .

I was pleased about that also, melora! Next, I will try it with a navy and cream striped bateau, as birdonce suggested. That should take all the "Christmas" feeling out of it!
