Scarf of the Day (Themes on page 1)

This starts to feel like a Napoléon week (do you think we've seen all existing cw?), and I almost feel sorry to interrupt with a non-Napoléon scarf But it's my only Ledoux -and my most recent scarf. I have to thank Esmeralda for showing me the robee knot, a new favorite! It allows to show light blue and white on a scarf that's mostly dark blue.

Two more Ledoux, I must be a classic girl at heart . The Reprise was my pride and joy in the day , but I could never get the horsemen in their red coats to show so unless I wore it in a triangle it looked like a bandage .
Wisdom of years at least gives me insight into how to wear it .I haven't looked at it in years it's not as bad as I thought .

My own personal Proues is probably the most colorful cw of this design

Hard to tell but the corners are purple, while border is indigo

That one is beautiful, so vibrant .

You look marvelous frou frou! ITA Maedi, the flowing locks are captivating! And I'm a fan of the blue/brown combo so this cw of Proues is wonderful; have to put that on the list.....

yayyy for the Proues-love! Seriously, some of these older designs are so fabulous IMO and I love to see them in action. When your wallet is experiencing palpitations from over-indulgence in the seasonal treats, (what?, who, me? LOL!) these oldies-but-goodies are a fun alternative to feed the addiction.

I found another Ledoux's design in my collection.
Here is "Jockey" in Carré géant Patch
01 marine/or. Jockey was 70cm vintage silk in 2013F/W season. I adore every cw of the vintage silk , so keep them coming!!View attachment 2792504

I am not surprised that you have not seen this CW before... it is an old one! It is interesting, Quai Aux Fleurs is available from resellers, but I have never seen it, like mine, with the background in a single color. And usually the colors are much brighter. I am glad I selected the one I did, though usually in those days I picked brighter CWs!

Yes, I look forward to seeing my Napoléon before Christmas too... it is coming from Japan, and I think it will be here next week, long before Christmas!
