Well, croisette, that certainly answers my question about which CW you have... I would say you own nearly all of them!A special contribution for the ladies, who are interested in Napoleon colourways:

Thank you, birdonce! I suspect that this scarf isn't that difficult to find. Happy hunting!LOVE it! Reminding me that this scarf is on my eventual wish list and gorgeous in that pale yellow. Flowers and stripes are my BFFs. Gorgeous pairing!
Hi scarfie friends! i will be sitting this week out, just admiring all your lovely scarves. I do not have any Ledoux scarves, although from time to time have thought about getting a classic napolean.
Thank you croisette for showing some possible CWs. No surprise, the 3 with the blue borders appeal to me most!
Elaine- love that soft yellow scarf with the blue. blue and yellow always seems like such a classic french color combo.
What a beauty, ElainePG, and a bargain as well? You had to buy it! Maybe try it with the basic fold, wrap once around, knot and tuck in the ends, or twice around and knot.![]()
I did not realize that, marietouchet. In that case, I'm so pleased with my CW!But the red and green coat color are authentic 1800s , napoleon wore the green
Turquoise and brown are such a dramatic CW.Dmitri Rybaltchenko's version of Ledoux's Springs - New Springs. Archive pics of dubious quality, but it's the only vaguely Ledoux scarf at the moment.Should go shopping!
Thank you, Bova and pierina.
Nova your Promenade is such a fab color way!
Pierina, I totally agree w/Chestnutty. You look smashing in an adventurous, elegant way. Bravo to this look!
Chestnutty, your Au Coeur is a beauty. I think H did a great job with the 2014 re colorations.
Momasaurus, you wear his scarf beautifully and in a fresh way (not at all aging).
Froufrou, ha-ha, I also bought Gabrielle after Arabesques modeled it. Love your outlook on mixing things up.
Elaine, I like how you showcased the beautiful flowers on your scarf.
Croisette, another much appreciated lesson on colors for N. Wow!
Cherry blossom, I adore Promenade and like the look of the past plissés.
Very pretty, Melora!
Hi frou frou! It's fantastic to see you in these classics, looking just as exciting as when they first came out.
Knockout colorway, Bova!

This is quite yummy, Maedi, it makes us feel warmer just looking at those glorious colors.
Okay, multi-quote is longer working here....
Chestnutty, your Au Coeur de la Vie is superb! And you look marvelous in it. Wearing it this way is such a pretty and feminine way to show off the intricate pattern. This colorway is almost completely opposite my tropical turquoise one., that's for sure!
cherryblossum - Another winner, love the blue border on your Promenade and it's perfect with the leather. Well done!
Given how nice the blue/green MetM looks with your avatar, I'd definitely vote for the acquistion of this colorway, Greengoddess.
momasaurus - Your Comedie Italienne is brilliant in both of these pictures, and I bet it could go casual too - the beauty of the classics.![]()

Absolutely! been there!Thank you, scarf1! To me, blue & yellow always remind me of Monet's kitchen in Giverny.![]()
Good luck in SF!Would love to see your bee & pearl necklace... AND your "new find"! Yes, I would say that evil bay has been seducing me lately. And in just 3 short weeks I will be in San Francisco, at the Hermes boutique! I told DH that I hadn't seen many scarves in the new collection that inspired me, so I might walk out empty-handed, and he said "I can't imagine that happening!" You know what? I think he's right!
My two temptations (but it tepends on what CWs they have) are Zebra Pegasus (in either the light pink or hot pink CW) and Le Voyage de Pytheas... but I'd like one with a less-muted border. Not necessarily very bright, but not completely muted, if that makes sense. I called the boutique this morning & spoke to a very nice SA, and she told me they have quite a few of Pytheas in stock, but no pink Zebra Pegasus. However, they are always getting shipments from Paris, so she said in 3 weeks that could changes. We shall see!![]()

My first carré was from the mother ship! Grand tenue. More than 20 years ago! LOLTo me, that would be a dream come true, to buy a scarf from the Paris boutique! The colors look lovely on you, dear cherryblossum.
