SOO very beautiful, seton! Thanks so much for including your fabulous Grands Fonds shawl. Swooning over it here, as always.

]I'm addicted to the blog www.gofugyourself.com[/B] and one of them says there was never a Breton stripe shirt she didn't want!
My only watery scarf is Grands Fonds, which you have seen here many times already! I paired it with navy today, as you are no doubt tired of always seeing it with my aqua t-shirt. LOL.
My moussie-family has got a new member, ECUME, A.de Jaquelot

Silkies, I finally wore my 2 Petite Ducs and have worn them THREE days in a row. But on camel, they look different than on black than on white...so who noticed? I don't even care. I wanted to show you day 3 where I tied together so the tail hung from behind my neck. Not best pic, but full body, this big drapey look worked for me.
Picked out a birthday scarf today. I was inspired by Scarf1 - but unfortunately our store did not have Ballet Aquatique in the beautiful pink and blue colorway. I did find this one in juane, vert d'eau, vert. Normally I don't do yellow, so this is quite a departure for me. Modeling with a very old scarf ring.

Jalna, these are beautiful. I love pink and orange together, and vibrant corally oranges. What year is feux de route? It looks quite interesting!SparkleLisaB, you do look great in those two scarves!!
A couple more nauticals:
Le Fleuve Sacre (I LOVE the colors in this one!)

And what would nauticals be without "Feux de Route Apercus la Nuit en Mer", one of my favorite "crib sheet" scarves. I grabbed this one from https://www.facebook.com/Hermes.Scarf.Guides
I have two CWs but they are down on the boat (too cold to go down on the dock-I'm a sissy in the winter!).

Happy B-day !! I love how you tied it. What a great present for yourself.
Many thanks moma! Yes unfortunately the black 90 twill has not the GM hem, just black

Thank you, Kitty. It's quite simple, but I may not explain it clearly. I folded the scarf on the bias. Then I folded about 3 inches of each end back on itself and threaded it almost all the way through a tubular scarf ring. That made a loop on one side and a 'tail' on the other. Then I threaded the other end of the scarf through the opposite side of the scarf ring. Then fluff it up, and voila! A little bow-tie.Happy Birthday and congrats on the scarf!
This is a very pretty knot! Would love to know how you do it sometimes 😊
Thank you, Moma!I love this CW! Have not seen this one in person. Congratulations and happy birthday!
Thank you Cherrblossum. The scarf ring is not H. I bought it back in the eighties when scarves were en vogue. There are similar ones on ebay.Happy birthday, dear Florasun ! Gorgeous in your new scarf! And your scarf ring! Is it from H?
Thank you for sharing!
What kind of a question is that? If you have to ask then the answer is yes!Normally I dont yellow either, LOL!
but the yellow is just an accent. I have never seen this CW. Hmm, do I need another one?
Thank you Lanit! You're right, the theme and color make it a cheerful scarf to mark the occasion.happy Birthday wishes Florasun, and BA is such a whimsical and fun silk to celebrate with!
.
Thank you, Seton, I am quite envious of your Grand Fonds GM, it is such a pretty color (love your sweater, too!)I hope your B-day was fab!

Because of this photo I am craving this scarf! Now I am guiltily contemplating ordering it, even though I have already purchased a birthday scarf for myself as well as the one from DH (the Ballet Aquatique that I posted yesterday) hmmm - could it be considered an early Christmas gift?
