OH DEAR, playing with 2 scarves was fun (read: frustrating), but now we are back to ENABLING WEEK!! Cherryblossum, this shawl is so gorgeous! Thanks for posting close-ups as well as a great action shot.

Thank you, dear momasaurus! We had a good time and worked hard last week!

Beautiful! The colors are bright and soft at the same time - a very happy shawl. Enjoy!

Love this colourway of Brides et Gris Gris - so happy and playful! Thanks for sharing!:smile1:

Thank you, VesperSparrow and CanuckBagLover! To tell the truth, I need some more hints or information. What shall we do this week? I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone brings here next!

Hope Mistress Lisa won't kick my bum out of here as I'm off theme again.
I just recently rehomed a pretty Folklore summer silk GM from a fellow scarfie. She's so gorgy and I'm a happy girl .

And, of course, the neon green border can be tied away, revealing the beautiful Pucci-esque centre.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Listen you Smarty having a Party in a Folklore!! This is fabulous on you. Love it and think it would be Heaven on white!!

8 bag charms in the shawl. Look at the rodeo charm peeping out of my neck.

Oh no cherryblossum, this shawl is not even on my radar, but as a CHARM Nut-Case lately, I must see this girl! Yikes....can't wait to go research....

I left my very favorite combo for the last day of this great week theme:

Well shoot me and send me to Heaven birkinmary---this is off the charts divine. Two, absolute grails!!

Hello my sweet friends! I know it has been a looooooong time since my last post. School is off to a great start, and I am finally caught up with grading and teacher things. :smile1: Before the workweek gets crazy (loving every minute of it!), I thought I'd share one of my new fall scarves.
Is this Enabling Week? If so, I remember Maedi asking about a particular Zebra Pegasus 04. This one is for her......

This is such an elegant and sublime combination, rosamonde. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for sharing, Professor ElainePG! :smooch:

<giggle> You caught me... I've had 3 careers (before I retired) and in my last one, I was a Professor! They say you can take the teacher out of the classroom, but you can't take the classroom out of the teacher... right?:p

Happy Sunday everyone!

Chestnutty, that GM is astonishing! I will never, ever get over being amazed at how different an Hermès scarf looks as it is knotted in different ways.

You say this is a recent purchase? I'd say you've definitely got a handle on how to tie it to get the most out of it. I especially love how you made the "Puccie-esque" center pop!

some more

This is a beautiful "collection" shawl, cherryblossum. The colors are just perfect for you, and the charms are both sophisticated and amusing at the same time. Just the sort of design that Hermès does best! I love the way you tied it so that we can see the rodeo charm at your neck.:smile1:

I can see why this is your favorite combo, birkinmary... It is absolutely eye-popping! The positive and negative space of the two carrés reminds me of an Escher etching. And then pairing them with the dense black of the Kelly... well, what can I say? You have exquisite taste!

Now that is a really surprising and successful combination, elaine! VERY NICE!! (One has to admit that ELEK is the most amazing scarf ever! ;) )

I know, right? I only got mine recently, found one in the CW I wanted at AFF and was thrilled at the condition when it arrived (always nervous until I''m actually holding it in my hands, you know?;)). If I had to be on a desert island with just one carré, it would be ELEK, because it looks different every time I knot it!

Thank you for inspiring me to try "pairing" it... I would have said it couldn't be done, but I would have been so wrong!
