Love mousse! :cloud9:Unfortunately the recent mousse are not crispy clear as past years. Here are some from previous seasons.

Love your moussies mimi. I too have the Sun scarf and wear it a lot in the heat. Is that Axis Mundi on the last post? LOVE

My moussie: Chevaux de Karnak. Apologies for the yellow hotel room!

Love the hotel room and the blue nail polish. What a festive ensemble my dear.

Hi fellow scarfies! Finally a chance to participate (sort of). I asked my lovely stand-in, Esmerelda, to modelling some of my mousselines, and she graciously agreed. Sorry for the huge photos..

My most recent addition - Festival

Oh my, Esmeralda is lovely and so accommodating. Your Moussies are divine. What diversity over the years. Fabulous.

Celebrating mousseline week (and a departure from ban island)View attachment 2719704 with my very first mousse, hermes sport. Special thanks to Anfang who first posted it months back :)

Oh dang, An ANFANG twin. You look amazing my dear. Love this moussie--what a perfect piece of stormy sky.

Silkies, what do I do when it is blistering hot and I cannot wear silk? I buy one for my bag. A fellow TPFer explained to me that jackets and bags can be very demanding and they too need accessories. This is my new gavroche that I wont wear except on Ms. Biscuit. (So many past seasons are showing up online and in boutiques!!)

Thank you for your kind comments, LisaB! I will relay them to Esmerelda, who wears my clothes much better than I do.
How do you keep your barenia so pristine? Everytime I touch mine it gets a new scratch!

Thank you, momasaurus and Anfang! It's such an easy piece to wear, and has that lovely grey pearl shimmer to it as well. Thanks for letting me share :)

"Rainy Days And Mondays"

Talkin' to myself and feelin' old
Sometimes I'd like to quit
Nothing ever seems to fit
Hangin' around
Nothing to do but frown
Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down.

What I've got they used to call the blues
Nothin' is really wrong
Feelin' like I don't belong
Walkin' around
Some kind of lonely clown
Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down.

Funny but it seems I always wind up here
with you
Nice to know somebody loves me

Funny but it seems that it's the only thing to do
Run and find the one who loves me.

What I feel has come and gone before
No need to talk it out
We know what it's all about
Hangin' around
Nothing to do but frown
Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down.

Good morning Silkies!!! The Carpenters music is still a pit in my heart--it is so sad how often the people who appear to "have it all" do not and suffer from a pain that money cannot fix. Robin Williams' recent death is a reminder of this.

So----here we go---Rainy Day Scarves. What is your interpretation of this?? Let the Silk Cheer us Up!!

Thank you, Sparkle!!

There is no way I'm going to catch up with all the beauties that have been shown in the last couple of weeks. So a collective thank you, you're awesome, beautiful, gorgeous and more to all the scarfies!

So, rainy day scarves... I guess the chameleon from Au Coeur de la Vie would be great to cheer up a rainy day...

But I think that my new, surprise addition is one I'm more likely to be actually wearing on a rainy day - vintage Clic Clac by Julia Abadie. Shown with Rouge Garance Calvi and Rouge Chili Carmen... and around my neck. It's an unexpected gift from a dear family member who though the scarf would be "better in my collection than her drawers". So now I guess I run a scarf rescue!

Sophie I love both choices! Either one would cheer me up on a rainy day!
