Etoile, stunning in every way!! Beautiful photo of you + scarf + accessories. And thanks for asking-I am almost back to 100% and amazingly, DH did not get it.

here is my yello entry, done ala the scarf and plume in the 2002 Playtime book (see below)
Insectes on my 2002 plume:

Seton, what a glorious picture of bag and bugs! Love it! This silk in on "the list" and I adore looking at the details of the bugs.

I just loooove this design!!! I can't believe I haven't caved and bought one.
I'm so sorry about your run. What happened????

Oh FlaaaaVaaaaaa, I wish I could just move on with these runs but there is clearly SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME (but you know that).

I sent a shawl across the country to a Silkie Angel who fixed a major run for me, BUT she taught me that if the thread is broken--can't fix. My heart fell when I saw the dang thread dangling like a misplaced participle. Holy Hell!

Silkies, I have NO runs on 100 silk 90s, moussies, nothing.... But the s/c GMs are the death of me. Does anyone else react like I do or I simply in need of meds? I don't freak when my CDC gets a little wisp of wear, or Barenia a tiny scratch, so I am not THAT insane. Why the c/s trauma? The price? Dunno.:crybaby:

Eperon d' Or, which as much yellow as anything in the collection other than the black/gold Eperon, which I deemed too formal for a casual Friday. Worn with a Breton-style cotton sweater, which had grail-status until I found this on sale on the Brooks Brothers website last week.

Etoile, this is ethereal!!! Whispy and beautiful!!! Paired with your horn accessories sends me to Heaven! You look amazing!!!

So sweet of you, Ladyb!

This moussie is so soft & feminine. Goes very well with the horn items by mai tai. Just in time for spring

Thank you so much, D Lee! You are the queen :queen: of mousselines!

Etoile, I remember this photo! Gorgeous scarf, hair and horn.

Many thanks, Maedi, and so glad you enjoyed seeing it, again! :smile1:

Thank you so much Jahna! :smile1: So glad to hear you are fully on the mend, and yay for DH!

This one is so airy and delicate!

Yes, I finally got it, my dear Chestnutty, you probably remember I was eagerly after it! ;)
As for color analysis, you know I keep all my scarves, well, even if I gifted my niece with 2 or 3 of them. And my collection spreads over 50 years now. I obviously changed  and so did the scarves!

Thank you so much, Anfang! I wish they would produce more pale mousselines. I can only imagine all the exquisite scarves in your collection! How has your taste changed, during the time you've collected?

Incredibly ethereal and elegant
Like spun and powdered gold
Gorgeous
You! And the Silk!

Dear TT, so sweet, and so poetic! Many thanks! :smile1:

Very French and very nice !! I love the hint of yellow in your scarf. Is that a pochette instead of 90cm ?

Dear sparkle, A broken thread :-s I'd feel the same way! Sending my sympathies! Reweaving is an option. Perhaps worth considering at some point, if it acquires more issues. I'm not too keen on getting runs either, but at least a run without a broken thread can be mended more easily. The cashmere/silks are so delicate, and seem to run if looked at the wrong way, so inveitible I guess. Seems impossible to avoid, so best to enjoy them, and know that all the cashmere/silk scarves you see worn on others, likely have runs!

Hello silkies, dropping in to say hello with some buttery yellow!
This was my first mousseline, and I still love it to bits!

Ahh this looks so light and delicate, absolutely perfect Etoile de mer.

Sparklelisab, I think the price coupled with how bad it looks. I've had a run on my silks and it doesn't look nearly as bad as when I had a pull on my CSGM. Luckily I was able to carefully pull the thread back into place, but it did cause a minor heart attack. I am now very paranoid when it comes to wearing them with coats that have zippers or any necklaces that might snag.

Yes, I will do that...as soon as Grace Kelly comes knocking at my door with a H carre on her head and the man made lakes of Texas turn into the Mediterranean  chanelling Cary Grant at this moment

Thanks for the compliment!

hermesguy, I love this Eperon d'Or! Breton style is perfect, and such is the match! Major congrats!

I too wish they would, etoile de mer, these pale mousselines are stunners!
I couldn't really tell my taste changed during all this time. But I wear my scarves, and obviously my look turned different. When a young girl, I was mostly given pastel scarves, and I looked faded in these! I especially remember I received a pale blue Courbettes et Cabrioles, didn't suit me at all... I wanted to have bright colors! And I got them! Bright reds, pinks, neon greens, bright yellows and orange were my most worn. At that time, I had long brown hair, I never went out without any makeup, I looked very different! Aging, my hair turned white, I had to give up with strong makeup colors, and so did I with scarves. The more whiter my hair, the more darker my scarves. The only point I stick is : never, ever, a black background, I never could deal with this, young or old, go figure!

Hi Everyone, I'm not new to the forum but new to Hermes! Wanted to start my collection with a scarf :) I am in my mid twenties and love color (especially turquoise and fuschia/purples) Is there a style you can recommend from the current 2014 collection? Thank you so much!
