Vitamina H: you're welcome. I did a little "fashion show" today. Later more images to come. I love it, otherwise I don't get the possibility to wear many of the scarves. :winkiss:
I always tend to wear those that are already wrinkled, but never those sitting in the boxes.

Here we go with the action pic
;)

PD: and please forgive the very 80ies door in the background. Don't have any fancy backgrounds where I stay currently...

Foulard-addict, thank you sooo much! This is just gorgeous! I love the way you knotted it too. It really shows the design of the scarf. Perfect! I am really excited to see the rest of the 'fashion show'! :yahoo:

For the moment I present to you C'est la Fête

Dear Scarfies,

For the past couple of months, I've been a lurker. I've been working harder than I thought was possible—which is only good because of all the scarves I want this coming season. FW2014 is going to be the BEST scarf season I think. More work=more scarves, yes? :p

Well, even though promising to restrain myself until the cashmeres flow into the boutiques, I've been discovering scarf treasures. There's only one group in the world to share them with. You.

And for the scarf for today, I would like to share my most precious Hermès scarf yet. The Jamdani stole from 2008, which I found in unworn condition. This is created through a weaving process so revered it has its own UNESCO designation. While the stole has been mentioned in the tPF archives, I cannot find a single picture . . . so here I offer a few.

I discuss this piece far more on my site (see signature) and the reason the piece means so much to me. Thank you for letting me share and clap wildly for being able to hold it after six years of searching . . .

Arabesques....that is such a stunningly special scarf, and what a wonderful story behind your search! I love your blog as well (I missed the opening of the Koons show by two days, but so wanted to see it, so I really enjoyed those photos too!). Enjoy your new treasure!

Congratulations on scoring your holy grail. It looks stunning on you, you must feel very very satisfied. :D

Arabesques, many congratulations on this amazing work of art, it's a beauty!

So completely thrilled and over the moon for you! A grail worth the wait and treasuring for years to come. It looks sublime on you.

Thank you, Suzie, lanit, birkinmary, and HfromT, for sharing in my happiness.
