Dear Scarfies,
For the past couple of months, I've been a lurker. I've been working harder than I thought was possiblewhich is only good because of all the scarves I want this coming season. FW2014 is going to be the BEST scarf season I think. More work=more scarves, yes?
Well, even though promising to restrain myself until the cashmeres flow into the boutiques, I've been discovering scarf treasures. There's only one group in the world to share them with. You.
And for the scarf for today, I would like to share my most precious Hermès scarf yet. The Jamdani stole from 2008, which I found in unworn condition. This is created through a weaving process so revered it has its own UNESCO designation. While the stole has been mentioned in the tPF archives, I cannot find a single picture . . . so here I offer a few.
I discuss this piece far more on my site (see signature) and the reason the piece means so much to me. Thank you for letting me share and clap wildly for being able to hold it after six years of searching . . .
