Wahooo Silkies, I am on theme with a new knot. I saw this on a scarf card and tried it this morning. Not bad for one minute. If Chestnutty did this, of course it would be prettier, but I am pleased with my lame self.

sparkle - you look amazing in this Mosaique - wonderful knot too dear.

I realized I do not have a single piece of yellow clothing, therefore not surprising I do not have any scarves that are predominately YELLOW. Enjoying the cheerful posts today.

As today is St patrick's day and DH and I both have some Irish heritage, wore this today. There IS a hint of pale yellow in the leaves…

Perfect lucky silk scarf1. Gorgeous details too.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY TO ALL!!! Instead of yellow for today, I am wearing Photo Finish to celebrate the one-fourth part Irish in me.

Speaking of lucky charm - you definitely deserve the pot at the end of the rainbow LadyB! BTW - Lucky Charms were my favorite cereal as a kid. Loved those little green clover marshmellows.

Speechless Michel - you are a star in Tokyo I bet! A little red goes a long way! And I bet the fashionistas there love your boots on the outside!;)

lanit, You MUST be my long lost sister! I, too loved and still love Lucky Charms! Thank you for the sweet complement on Photo Finish!!!! :hugs:

Here I am actually WEARING "Tropiques" (with my fav t-shirt)

Jahna - I love this tropical combo - the tee really shows off your sense of humor:laugh:

One more design from Mr. Oliver, Les Deanses des Indiens cashmere GM. Also with a bit of yellow, which is probably all you'll ever get from me. :D

Pierina - this shawl epitomizes KO and I really want one in a GM. Of course you have all the most beautiful KO GMs in your stable along with the bolides and jiges to match! I want to be you when I grow up.

Yellow Bateaux!

Beautiful NestGirl and what a lovely way to show off your trim waistline too.

Digging my archives are here are my favourite yellow goodies
Ex Libris en Kimonos

a favorite paisley pochette from Brooks Brothers

Jardin d'Armenie stole

All so fabulous on you Chestnut. Ogling the Jardin stole on you.

Did someone say YELLOoooooW??? :giggles:

OMG - you are totally the coolest queen of yellow IF! What a super fantastic collection of yellows and the soufre B is icing on the cake!

Pegase - oh you look so mischievous in your photos - rakish grin too. Oh - there was a silk there to admire too?

Thanks Jahna and Chestnut for starting a fresh new thread and for sharing such a delightful collection of silks and pearls of wittiness and wisdom! I cannot keep up to the many pages already. Thank you chestnut, LadyB, sparkle, IF, Nestgirl, jahna, crazy, Pierina, seton and Anfang for your sweet compliments.
Work is now super crazy and I hope to catch up again on the weekend.

Yellow Bateaux!

Very lovely, NestGirl!!!

Hello everybody, Finally I'm home as well as my internet provider:)
Here are my KO pics that I promised to show yesterday. It looks like Spring has finally come to London and the weather is so good we've spent all weekend outside.
Well back to my pics. Yesterday I took my only KO (Les Ameriques) for a walk and while my kids enjoyed a sandpit I've been playing with my scarf;)

By the way, there's plenty of yellow in this particular scarf, so it fits both themes;)

What a gorgeous colorway of Les Ameriques, very pretty on you, CrazyAboutShoes. :smile1:

I have photos of my orange/yellow Astrologie Nouvelle pics somewhere but I couldn't find. Will post later.

Wow, you really like yellow, Chesnutty, and these are gorgeous examples of it. Looks super on you. :smile1:

Pierina, thanks for the well wishes; I am SO MUCH better! Can't believe I was so sick.
And... the new Kermit (of course you would go for the blue) but I totally forgot I have the yellow ... duh. I will photo it tomorrow. As for the "Tropiques" the border is yellow yellow yellow.... The pink "Les Danses" is stunning on you.

Good to hear that, Jahna, it' nice how quickly we can forget those kinds of illnesses. Many thanks for the kind comments. :flowers:

Pierina, this is beautiful! I love this design having just finished writing a book on conservation. I love the blues and the cowboy knot is a favorite tying style.

Thank you, 14H, what sort of conservation? Wildlife, like the scarf?

Pegase: I always enjoy seeing a design in different sizes and colorways and this is a real treat. It's a beautiful scarf and looks just different enough so that you really feel as though it's not a simple "repeat."

pierina2: Two beauties.....I'm especially fond of your Les Danses....the pink is TDF....seriously...and the new Texas Wildlife is a testament to KO's talents. You wear those colors so well!
Regards!

Thanks so much OrangeAddiction. :smile1: I am still swooning over your pink Coup de Fouet!! So lovely. And your Aloha is a fantastic burst of color.

Anfang, is there any chance for a picture of your special Les Ameriques scarf someday? :smile1:

Yay! This is the one I have too! :)

Happy blue new Texas scarf twins!

Brides de Gala en Finesse...plisse ;)

Very pretty, rosamonde, subtle and lovely!

Thx OrangeAddiction! The gray/green Mars is the bestselling of them all, according to my SA! I like this design so much that I also have a CSGM as well;)

Thx pierina2! I saw your Texas scarf & love it! Never saw so many birds all on one scarf!

Pierina, always true to your style. The latest KO scarf is a beauty. Is the flower in the corner an anemone? Your Brazil scarf ring is calling my name.

Thank you all so much for your kind words. Sorry I am not thanking everyone by name - I will use the new thread and the fact that I am so busy as an excuse.

Beautiful Jungle Love, Maedi. You wear yellow really well! Being an East coast girl I'm not familiar with native Texas flowers but it certainly looks like an Anemone, doesn't it?

This and your other post have to be the ultimate yellow posts so far, IF!! Glorious color!

waving hi to all the silkies - some yellows to brighten the day!

They do brighten up the day, lanit, thank you!

Very:cool:, micheldietlin, :smile1:

Does this count as yellow? It's my new maxi twilly!

It looks wonderfully nonchalant, sparkle, and perfectly on theme!

And my humble contribution to this week's theme.

Wow, brilliant indeed, crazyaboutshoes!

Scarfies - sorry I have been MIA. Orchestrating my move has been so time consuming. Wanted to share what I'm wearing tonight out for dinner even though it's not on theme. C'est la fete tucked into my shirt. Love these little 70s. Sorry about the bad lighting. The sun has gone down here. Eeks! Sorry the photo is so big!

Moving is such a big job, MYH, I'm so impressed that you're here at all. Looking very chic, no less!

Finally remembered I do have a scarf with yellow in it! Well its got nearly every color, but it works for me. RdC

Very colorful, Nico!!

Until now I haven't been told anything about my boots, though a lot of woman look down while crossing me in the street... :))

Sparklisab, I'm not into yellow, but I really love your scarf --and your knot! Could you show us the card?

Jahna, I had to go to Paris to catch my plane! I didn't buy anything, but I checked on H prices in duty free. Good to know for next time (285 instead of 330 for a 90, 127 instead of 140 for a gavroche). on my way back, I'll check the prices at LAX duty free ;)

Paula24jen: can't buy anything right now. I have already bought my birthday gift for July (!!), and need to sell my mousseline to be able to buy 2 gavroches as replacement. Can't wait!

Crazyaboutshoes, good job on tying your yellow scarf :) it's a great match with your sweater

Chestnutty: no idea ;)
A July birthday? All the best people are July babies....:p

pierina, here it is. As you may see, I still don't know what to do with this one since... over 20 years. I quickly snapped this after trying again and again, but errrr, went straight back to my comfort zone with this jersey Onde de Chic!

I agree with you, Les Ameriques is a complicated scarf, even I don't wear it often (actually once) but I think it would look gorgeous as a framed peace. And I really thinking of ardering a frame for it.
Love your "zebra":p

I'm on my sick bed today but LMAO over this my sore throat hurt worse, bahahaha. Let's call Pegase Bicep Boy from now on .

Hey Bicep Boy, what do you have against two weeks of critters? You know this gives even me enough time for posts. :hugs:

Pegase - oh you look so mischievous in your photos - rakish grin too. Oh - there was a silk there to admire too?

You girls make me blush.... :blushing:

Sparkle! Of course I love seeing all of your critters!!! as well as all your lovely pictures =)
