Always love seeing everyone's scarves. Anyway's here's my contribution to Pastel Week - my Mexique. Thanks.

This is subtle and totally lovely CanuckBagLover. I love those muted pearly tones.

Must at some point in my life stand next to you so I can bask in the glow of those beautiful tones.

On the other hand, if this cw is a recent Mexique, do tell so I can be your twin.

Pegase, I LOVE that hat too! And it looks like such a festive evening.

Carrelover, thanks for the compliment!

Maedi, I guess it is the artist in me, but CW 22 of "Au Coeur de la Vie", even though also in the "white" realm (being more cream) has such different emphasis in the details. Think I feel a weakening of will here...
"Jeu des Petits Bonheurs" is beautiful; do you have a picture of the scarf flat? Looks like it has wonderful blues...

Seton, I love those clips! You like cats? I assume you have seen this (but I watch it over and over):

WValencia, welcome to this thread, and with a great scarf; I have been wondering how it would look tied. Great!

Here are some pastel scarves (pictures from archive which I hope is okay).

A Cheval sur mon Carre, Le Jeu de Bonheur, Pique Fleuri.

Maedi, these are so beautiful on you!

And a few more.:smile1:

Yay so happy to be twins with you on Cheval Surprise! I need to wear this more often!

Good morning everyone! I'm new here and wanted to share Le voyage the Pytheas

WValencia, gorgeous! So happy to see a mod shot of this one.

Here I am... raising a glass to all of you Silkies !!!!!

As u can imagine i had a great conversation with our "old friend" who does the presentation of the silk screen printing...
Pegase, love these photos! It's truly such a wonderful event to attend, especially speaking to all the craftspeople. Great experience!

Dear Vitamina, seton, Birkinmary, Jahna and nici - many thanks.
Jahna, I am right on your heels with cw 22 but will have to wait until next month.

WValencia, your scarf is beautiful, great colors and knot!

not enough brain power to remember all the names, but ladies, thank you for your fabulous outfits/scarves and smiles in this blog!

i don't get to stop by too often, but whenever I do, this is just a feast for the i's !

thank you!

And wanting to share my Mothers Day silk, a great pastel for theme week, my second 140 DD, and Concours shawl! I think I am twin with BBC on this one.;)

lanit, this Concours DD is beautiful on you! Subtle but very interesting - it looks like one of those scarves that are so easy to throw on and wear with everything. Congratulations!

The Oldest Scarf theme was very interesting.
I love looking at the older designs and I really enjoyed everyone's posts!
Thanks to all!

Here's my Pastel Week contribution. In my mind this is the ultimate pastel pink scarf:

La Danse

Not bland or boring in the slightest, markova, your La Danse is gorgeous. Love the Ombre CDC to set it off too. :graucho:

Happy Mothers' Day!
Pastels---most of them do not flatter my complexion, so I have only a couple of pastel scarves. I would be hard pressed to think of a more feminine scarf than this one. It's pink, it's plisse, and the subject is perfume bottles.

Very girly indeed, victoriab, and such a classic pattern. It looks super as a plisse. :smile1:

Pierina, I love your Coaching and your outfits, what a great pairing with the stripped jacket!

Thanks so much, birkinmary, and it's wonderful to see you back here again! Love, love, love your pale blue Ledoux. So elegant.

Pierina, I adore this 'Coaching' scarf (she looks brand new!!). You look beautiful in these colors and I love the pairing with your jacket. I, too, love mixing my scarves with stripes..such an interesting look. I have to add, as a blue lover myself, you have the most amazing pieces!

Many thanks, Vitamina H! The more blue lovers the merrier!!! ;)

...and, I finally have a mod shot! The hunt for this CW of "Coupons Indiennes" was rewarded, (I wanted it just because MaiTai used it for this tie-didn't quite get the stripes in the right place-next time). (My first selfie too):

Looking good, Jahna, and so is Miss Sophie!

My only pastel scarf and one of the oldest too , seldom worn but kept for sentimental reasons:
pink Promenade de Longchamps

Sorry to be such a sporadic poster, my skills with camera and Mac are pitiable .

Seeing all the older designs being modelled has been fascinating. They look as elegant and interesting as ever , which makes me think I should revisit some of mine.

You're right, frou frou, while some of the older scarves may look a little dressier they have an elegance that shouldn't be forgotten. And often really great borders. :smile1: You look beautiful in Promenade!

Far from pastel , but after a few months when the weather was too sombre for these colours to work in Northern Europe, my Concours d'Etriers GM is finally being aired.

I can't get enough of it now , and am planning the pale grey t shirt/white jeans combo as soon as we get more sun .

Gorgeous, and won't it be fun to wear with your light colors too!

Everyone is posting so fast--it's difficult to keep up with comments--and I only have a few minutes between my "chores". Thank you, everyone! Thank you for the compliments and thank you for the generous sharing of your silky beauties!

Here's another pink pastel:

Kachinas GM:

Thanks for posting this Kachinas, markova, and if I wasn't your twin I'd be gnashing my teeth trying to find it. Beautiful!

So many gorgeous pastel pink scarves! And the giraffe is so stylish ;)

I want to switch to yellow pastel, and show you Giverny, worn by my daughter.

This looks lovely on your DD, Melora, very very pretty. :smile1:

Always love seeing everyone's scarves. Anyway here's my contribution to Pastel Week - my Mexique. Thanks.

An unusual colorway for Mexique, so wonderfully soft and easy to wear. Thanks for posting this, CanuckBagLover.

Thought I would join in on the pastel week:)

Wow! What terrific colors, christymarie, you look fabulous!

Last week was such a treat for me, what a great week to lead up to Mother's Day! There are so many vintage beauties I have never heard of.... the Flies, Vertige, Grotte de Lascaux, Chasse en Africa, Les Oiseaux, Les Joies de la Montagne, to named a few. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I have nothing much to offer in return but will try my best:worthy:
As you may know, I cannot wear pastel colors. Tried and always failed miserably. So here is one of the only two pastel scarves I have, photo from my archive (Fils Conducteurs, 70 CS).

Sorry, Carrelover, this isn't convincing evidence that you can't wear pastels. :D

Here I am... raising a glass to all of you Silkies !!!!!

As u can imagine i had a great conversation with our "old friend" who does the presentation of the silk screen printing...

Such fun, Pegase, thanks for the pictures!

And a few more.:smile1:

Hard to choose, Maedi, you look fantastic in all of these beauties. Although the new Au Coeur de la Vie is especially nice, as is the Leila, and the CSMC..... :woohoo:

Good morning everyone! I'm new here and wanted to share Le voyage the Pytheas

Welcome, WValencia. This is a gorgeous scarf to start out with, beautifully knotted. :smile1:

It's really too hot to be wearing many scarves here in FL but I'll be heading north for the summer very soon. Of course one has to turn the A/C down to get a few pictures of new acquisitions, no matter the heat. For the files, of course. :p

La Rosee in mousseline GM, and Coup de Fouet in silk GM.
