I'm thrilled to get a peek at your Invisibles, foulard_addict!

Would love to see more pics!!!!
Markova - so glad you still have this beautiful DD - you always look so ethereal in it! The knots- your namesakes definitely keep the silks on trend.

Scarfies - i have been MIA on the thread and just now getting around to ogling the wonderful posts. Before our week changes, here are some of my 'exceptionals'. The EL pointu is an Ode to our dear former tpf friend Robee from a few years ago. I read with great interest recently the thread on how one's love of silks can ebb and wane through the years of collecting many H silks. After seeing a few of these show up on tpf as a new member back then, I thought I'd never find one in the boutique. In those days visiting H was intimidating and I really did not think to ask for something I had seen on tpf. On one of my visits with a very young male SA, I asked if by chance there were any pointus, and he opened the drawer for me to discover this pristine white one. Shock. awe. delight. I will never forget the shivers down my spine when serendipity struck and this one will likely not leave my collection for years to come. Five years later Ms. Blue came along on the Bay as a companion. Cheers to our silk happiness and to keeping the flame alive.

And here is our "Scuba Dubas Fighting Bubbles" (for dear sparkle). Colette BdG in Klein Blue. Lastly - BdG DD - these seem to be a classic amongst us!

Lanit dear,

You look absolutely beautiful in these pointus!

Wasn't the BdG the first Giant DD? I know I almost fainted when I first saw these in the store.
(Note to sparklelisab: DD = Deepsea Divers)

Where has robee disappeared to? Her motto "Buy now, think later" has pretty much become my mantra as far as H silks are concerned...

Thanks dear, and yes, I do think this was the first 140 DD issued by H. But the season previously they had issued it in the 90 cm DD. Think you have one if two of those? Hoping Robee will pop in for a visit as she certainly is Queen of EL design!

JP! Im so happy you got this! beautirull colors, beautifully worn!

Nico: What a good pairing! Your top channels the vibe of the scarf without really "using" the any of its exact hues... Love that!

I am totally melting for the way you tied this GM!!! totally!

Anfang, ma Chere! I am In love with this colors....

What a great look together with that graphic- top, wow!

Tiphaine! This is such a beauty! I hesitated a couple of days too long about getting this.. I will always regret it! And I always get happy when I see it :smile1:

Thank you Pegase!!! :). Me too! I can probably use another cw too! Lol ;)

Silkies, I am off theme and it is all Anfang, Pegase, and BirkinMary's fault! I recieved my second Dipper in this design: Tiger Royale. Honestly, the pic is weak but I'm showing you anyway, and please can I share to the only ones who I get to show off my new purchases to--my latest and largest non-H splurge--Ippolita Lollipop ring---and it matches Tiger.

This TR DD was definitely fated to be yours!!! Congrats on such a find! ;)

But Holy Lollipops!! Where did this beauty come from and why don't I know anything about it!?!?!? Why do I have to come to this thread to see a pic!?!? Lol!! I fricken LOVE the ring!!! Does it come in other colors?!?! I WANT WANT WANT one... Though I can probably only buy the gumball machine version right now. LOL ;)

Had to backtrack a bit to find this post again, sparklelisab, honey! (My commenting skills have degenerated during my long absence from tPF!)
One word:
LOVE!!!!

I'm not into BdG, but the DD version... specially this one... on a modeling shot like this... it's almost perfection :)

I like yours too :)
You both make me see DDs with new eyes!

I can understand why you felt that way! Both of them are beautiful. Compared to the busy patterns of most scarves, these two are standing out with their minimalism. (does this word exist?)
