Good morning! I don't have much in the way of fringed edges, but here they are:
Mumbai, a men's 90 wool/silk blend (inspired by @bunnycat's beautiful example)
IMG_5341.jpgMumbai.jpeg
Tendresse Feline 90 (thrilled to have a 90 CS in my collection, and especially this one!)
Tendresse Feline CS90 .jpg90 Tendresse Feline (17).jpg
And how about some fringe as part of the design? One of my New Year's Resolutions is to put my grail scarves more into rotation and not treat them like preciosities or rare collectibles (though they are that, too!). There are fringe-y animal pelts and beautiful layered borders on La Femme aux Semelles du Vent. And while these are hardly the snow covered mountains Alexandra trekked across, it is a snowy background! The beach has a frozen sheet of snow at the tide line which my dogs think is a fabulous development...

This design is just so eye catching with all its detail! The earrings are perfect too.

This cw is so elegant and dreamy! Looks very nice with the gray.

All so beautiful. I’m really drawn to the JdM in particular; such scrumptious purples and pinks.

Wow! I thought this was ItCW at first and now realizing it’s the SE of Wild Singapore - thank you for sharing! It’s really neat to finally see a mod shot of this.

Aw I’m so so sorry to hear about the puppy. I’m praying for you and I too hope the little one gets better soon. Both of your scarves are absolutely stunning.

Beautiful, twin!

That Zenobie is such a glorious piece, it makes me think of high summer. And congrats on the new in! I really really like the colors, if it didn’t sound so hard to find I’d prob start hunting myself.

You are a vision in these fetching tonal greens! This is truly a fabulous border.

Good point on the Pytheas borders! So intricate and it’s cool that they are different on some sides.

Gorgeous! I’m less familiar with this cw of SD but it seems like such happy colors.

I love the tones of brown and blue on this Tralala - quite striking.

Beautiful! Agreed, they did a great job making this cw jewel tone-y and yet icy at the same time.
Thank you for your kind compliments, Jereni!

Thank you so much @Lellabelle

Thank you @Karenska ! Duo etriers is one of my favorites

This is so warm and lovely @HermesEchidna ! I love how you coordinated the earrings too

Thank you @Croisette7 ! Great minds think alike ;)

Have a great day, ladies
It is STUNNING!
Oh wow 30 pages behind that I hope to catch up on, and I see our wonderful scarfies @Thelittlefoxes and @Awillow have been on this week! You both were so missed :hugs: and we all just love seeing you and your amazing collections :hbeat: .

I am gathering that this week is about borders and hems in some manner, but will get better idea when catch up.

I thought of and put on pytheas, like some other scarfies. And I wore a new-in of the 140 terracotta Orphee most of the day. Thank you to all the enablers on here!! Such an easy wear. Sorry for the horrible modeling pic. I wore it all day in the cold and took a quick snap when I got home, before taking it off.

Twins with PVdP, dear Nomad! And yrs, the border!! A twofer - contrasting hem and border.

All super! Many congratulations on the CI find; this is such an unusual colour combination on the grey. It suits you beautifully and I can see this going well with so many outfits. The jewellery pairing is perfect, too!

Those are some fantabulous hems! The errant bee escaping the border is my favourite detail on Objets 👍

Beautifully paired with the sweater. Is this one of the newly received ones? The pearls are amazing, as always.

I can see why you have two of this dear little cashmere. It’s perfectly proportioned. I love the raspberry one on you, too!
Hope you’re feeling better soon and thanks for hosting when you’re under the weather :hugs:

Gorgeous. And hurrah for tailoring that stands the test of time!

This is lovely on you @Awillow and SO cheerful.

Great outfits! You wear CSGM so well - chic and carefree! I love how you’ve matched little colour details to unite the different elements, patterns and textures.
Thank you, dear Lellabelle. These two are my favorite losanges, for sure, so they are not as frequently in the rotation. The more one wears a CS, the more it looks worn, is my experience.

We are twins on the Savana Dance CSGM @LKBNOLA! I was unsure about it when I picked it up on Fashionpile a few years ago and it turns out to be one of my most reached for. Congrats on your new Imperials success, and what a great little story to tell.
I am speechless, dear @LKBNOLA ! What a find. This is gorgeous especially with the gold lines. A special design and you were at the right place at the right time with a portion of luck.

Congratulations on a great find, LKB!
Thank you kindly, @CedarWaxWing, @Maedi, @Lellabelle, @Croisette7 and also @880 and @Jereni! The CI shawl joins a tiny handful of acquisitions with unusual "origin stories" -- found La Treve de l'Eau at a silent auction for a school years ago, another two came from a random connection I made when someone commented on my scarf at a lecture. Turns out she had many scarves she never wore and wanted to just give them to me. We settled on my making a donation to a charity she favored and I took a Pytheas and a Tapis de Selle off her hands! Sometimes the Great Silk Bazaar just finds you-- or you are in the right place at the right time! I wonder if we have other oddball stories...
Another Jaguar et Colibri for another frigid day.View attachment 6120505
Beautiful, twin!!! I love this paired with that sunny yellow sweater @Awillow!
Thank you @LKBNOLA . I love your pic of zenobie and your special collections imperiale

@Karenska , hope you feel better soon

It’s finally cold enough for me to wear some csgm, and I was spurred to action by the contrast border theme.

Duo Etriers; couvertures et tenue; and two colorways of Siestes au Paradis , also inspired by those of @Redbirdhermes

These are wonderful and so beautifully styled, too @880. I love how you are matching textures here! The boots are killer and I am delighted to be your and @Croisette7's twin on Duo d'Etriers-- it is a great combo of colors!
Hello! I usually lurk on the forum but once in a blue moon I decide to post a picture, today it's because I'm fond of colorful hems, and the pink contrast hem of my "En Liberté !" was the reason why I chose that colorway over the aubergine one which I loved too.
I can't resist a pink hem!
Hope your puppy will be okay @EtsyBoss, "bon courage" as we say in French.View attachment 6120508
An amazing hem and a beautiful mod shot @Frenchcoco! I hope you come out of the shadows more often-- I love seeing your collection and styling!
Today a contrast hem, Parade en fanfare.

Really nice accent on your brown top @Agrume! What color is the contrast hem on this one?
Excited to join the Savana Danse sisterhood—and its fabulous border! Thrilled to share this 140cm wash silk with you all!

Oh, this is very pretty @SilkCouture. I am your slightly darker blue sister. There were so many good cws of this one!
We are twins , @Jacq1, with this one and I am absolutely over the moon with it. Beautiful! I wore it for the first time two weeks ago.

I wear mine with a burgundy down coat, too, Glowworm. And my black wool. One of the most beautiful cws of this design.
Here it is with a sweater and a London Fog raincoat that I have had for almost thirty years and it looks brand new. A workhorse of workhorses. It hasn’t even shed a button! Twins with others here, including @Jereni, our newest twin. View attachment 6120480View attachment 6120483
Lovely mod shots @Karenska-- I was inspired by you to pair Acte III with camel and I love it. Also the Tulipomanie (we are twins-- part of a happy sisterhood here!) on pink is truly lovely...

These are gorgeous @Croisette7 -- thank you for reminding me of Grand Tralala-- the CSGM border is so cool! If I had these two enamel bracelets, I would want the scarves just for the perfection of the match! Love the green Prieres au Vent too-- the border reminds me a bit of Tohu...
One of my newest purchases with a gorgeous border and pretty cream hem. Wearing it to meet a lovely scarfie friend.

I love the saturation on this one!

Never say never @Jereni-- just last night I saw this very Collections Imperiale on Abigail Goodman's "restock drop"!!! I did see Wild Singapore LE in person when my friend and I met at the Metropolitan a few weeks ago-- and we both remarked on the similarities to the red hemmed ITCW!!! As for Zenobie, I think you are right-- this is a very bright and summery cw. There are so many beautiful ones...

I join the Maharani club today, but mine is a somewhat deconstructed version of it. I like Paisley very much but as I have many Etro pieces, mostly shirts, I thought I could pass on this H design, at least on the original. So I bought the recadré some years ago, it seemed to me a modern and fresh approach on the original. Now, seeing all your beauties and most of all this incredible animal-esque border, I'm not so sure anymore if I made the right choice at the time. But I'm confident that someday, the right Jardin de la Maharani will come my way - perhaps. 🤔1000012110.jpg1000012118.jpg1000012119.jpg

Magical! Ooh, I don’t know about having any regrets - I think this one is pretty special. I love the different border and I haven’t seen this version before.
