You describe and wear its beauty so well. Wonderful necklaces, too.Hello again,
I also would like to show the latest Annie Faivre design, Jardin des Peintres, knowing that I'm a sister to many of you. 💜 When I saw it in the boutique it was clear that this was my cw. The A side is quite elegant, very finely drawn and poetic. But the B side! A clash of colours, savage and joyful, just incredibly wild. One of those few really contrasting double sided scarves and truly 2 scarves in 1. And one of my most cherished ones.View attachment 6213699View attachment 6213700View attachment 6213701View attachment 6213703
Wonderful! I once had the blue 90cm. A special scarf.
Hopefully, someday we’ll be twins. Pearly is the perfect adjective for @Helena7 ‘s look. Your Au fil is mysterious and lovely.Every single one is jaw-droppingly gorgeous @Croisette7. In total awe of your collecting achievement here... (and thrilled to be twins on grey Sintra and pastel CSGM Zenobie!!!!)
Thank you @Jereni for the informative post! Love your Voyages en etogffes outfit, too.
Thank you @Cookiefiend-- I hadn't thought of it that way but it is a very serene pink...and I know you are a green lover! And speaking of which, great styling of the black ACdlV!!!
This is an incredible ensemble, @cascade2021 -- what a great jacket!
Congratulations on your marvelous new-in @GloWW0rM -- it is a wonderful cw and perfect for you!
Thank you so much! I do love that design @hotgalaxy -- for just those reasons, too. BTW the trip sounds amazing!
Thank you! I like that ring for so many scarves with a touch of H orange! And I do love the colors on "our" Maharanis-- I tried to become your twin but sent back due to poor condition @Maedi. Alas!
These are great (love especially your Astres et Soleils) but La Dame de Coeur is by Pierre Marie!!
I love how "pearly" this whole ensemble is @Helena7!
I think it works @darkstar66!!! What a terrific skirt!
This is simply stunning @monteverdi!
Gorgeous! I was looking for this "composite" design and finally found this one @Croisette7 but I think I would prefer in 140...it benefits from the added space for the busy design. These colors are fantastic!

Just beautiful @FA73! (But while I prefer the garden-y greens I don't mind "our" B side!!!!)
Rêve is glorious in these colors, the coral just pops. Twins on the punchy little bandana.I am late to the Annie-to-Aline transition (I did bring an Aline with me but not wearing it today). But here are three recent Annie Faivre "brights" I have added:
Chemins de Corail; Rêve de Corail; Art des Steppes

Ah, Maedi, I would love to find this one!
Absolutely beautiful. Both sides are lovely with your complexion. XHello again,

Thank you @Jereni, for leading us in what is bound to be a bountiful week of eye candy! I will start off with my most beloved Annie Faivre: La Danse du Cheval Marwari dip dye. I am besotted by this scarf. I can barely bring myself to tie it because every time I go to wear it, I become paralyzed by the loveliness. I adore this design and have two other silk twills and a CSGM, but this one is truly special-- a "Desert Island Design" for me! Today it is adding some much needed interest to my plain linen dress.

So pretty @Croisette7 . I especially love that pain d’épice cw of Zenobie.
Very pretty and happy travels @Cookiefiend !Looking forward to all the eye candy this week!
I am off topic again - but my scarf starts with an A!

Admittedly I always think of Annie Faivre as the ‘garden artist’ with her array of Jardin a Sintra, Jardins d’Hiver, Jardin d’Eden, and more. In fact at least 19 of her 59 (?) total scarf designs for Hermes feature gardens, nature, or animals, and I’m not including primarily equestrian designs in that. So the theme makes up at least a third of all her scarves.
From what I can find, I think Jardin des Paintres is her most recent scarf for Hermes, released in 2023 - and it was my very first scarf!
JdP today.

Beautiful with the denim jacket @GloWW0rM 😎Le Jardin De La Maharani is one of my undisputed favourites. Still surviving 38C heat (with humidity) so here is an archive photo.

Oh this is such a good design and good call to get multiples too. So perfect on you @Nomad 😍I won’t be wearing any scarves but for one day this week. But hope to archive some participation.
I have 9 designs by Faivre, mostly duplicates funny enough which proves I love her I guess. Already from today’s posts I have seen some amazingly beautiful designs I would like as well.
I fell in love with Zenobie and knew I wanted a CSGM in this design with that border I love. I bought my first CSGM in 2021. And at some point in 2024 I decided I wanted more color in my scarves and bought two more. I am behind on updating my digital file so only have a really old pic of one of my zenobie.

Hello,
Yes, this week will be the most exciting one for me, these 3 grand As are my favourite H scarf designers. As for Annie, I admire her interwoven pattern mixing, her ornamental skills but also her cute animals and wonderful gardens. My first Annie Faivre was this one, Légende de l'Arbre which I bought perhaps 25 years ago. I like it especially for its interesting green border.View attachment 6213244
Just popping in to say hello 👋, and post my plumes en fete scarf by Aline Honore. I was holidaying in Europe for the last 8 weeks. This photo was taken on a very hot afternoon in Nice. It was very hot so I used my scarf to tie my hair.View attachment 6213276
Happy Monday all!

Your Jardins are stunning @LKBNOLA !Happy Monday, everyone! I am about to hit the road again until Wednesday but posting two Annie Faivre "Jardins" for the sub-theme. Like everyone here, I have some choices when it comes to Annie Faivre designs, but these are the two most recently acquired garden motif scarves in my collection!

And my SOTD, Jardin des Peintres. I started with @Jereni's blue cw and added this one because it is so reminiscent of New Orleans' Uptown and Garden districts (hat tip to my enabler @FA73).

Annie Faivre has been such a prolific designer for Hermes and is so beloved, I am not sure what insight I can truly add this week.
As I do not know a ton about her (or any particular designer), I made a list of all her scarves, by year, and attempted to group them into major themes. I came up with:
- Garden & Nature (20)
- Equestrian (14)
- Clothing & Jewelry (11)
- History & Culture (8)
- Mythological & Fantastical (7)
- Place (4)
- Performance (3)
This is all very subjective of course, and ‘Place’ and ‘Performance’ could probably be just included under ‘History & Culture’ for a simpler list. And many of these overlap.
Besides garden & nature which are my favorite themes for scarves in general, I’m also a fan of Faivre’s designs that feature clothing or jewelry - she very much celebrates the art of textiles. I don’t own many of them, just Voyage en Étoffes, but here are a few examples, some of these designs having been already shared by you lovely ladies:
Chapeau, 1990

For Tuesday and Wednesday we will transition to the wonderful Aline Honore!
Aline started designing scarves more recently than Annie Faivre, my findings are showing me that she started in either 2004 or 2005, and to date she has produced about 18 designs, several of which have come out in several formats (although that’s true of both Annie and Alice as well).
Several of Aline’s are commonly considered grails - Parures de Samiurais, Au Coeur de la Vie, La Femme aux Semelles du Vent, and Sieste au Paradis.
From Aline, I only own Au Coeur de la Vie, but am lucky enough to have two colorways. Hope everyone has a great day!

Very pretty, Maedi!
Beautifully styled with your necklaces, darkstar!Hello and good morning,
In my, admittedly limited, collection, I consider Aline Honoré as the most "accomplished" designer. Her drawings are incredibly detailed, she works with nuances and shadows and is thus able to create illusionary designs, as for example in Cent Plis des Miao, an underrated design imo. Look at those pleats, don't they look real? And then these intricate patterns with blanc matte overlay!View attachment 6214249 The first design which attracted me and started my hunt for Aline designs was Plumes en Fête, a CSGM, and then I bought this 90. She creates the illusion as if sunlight touches the feathers, makes them shimmer and gleam and lets them dance. It's my favourite design from her.View attachment 6214250View attachment 6214251View attachment 6214252
Twins on both silks, beautiful redheaddem!Thank you Jereni, for another useful overview. Your Au Coeur de la Vie are wonderful!
I love the designs of Aline Honore, but so far only have one design. I did however splurge on 3 pieces and I am really trying to refrain from adding more cws 🤪
I am travelling so join archive photos of my 2 Tulipomanie in 90 silk and my CSGT, which I all love.
