I so love this design. Annie’s scarves seem to be so thought out and clever. Absolutely beautiful in both cw’s and a contrast hem already.from the archive Annie's Torana

I thought so! It is a very compelling colorway and a fun design. That Pirouette is something else-- I was so happy when I found it! Thank you for the BdG love too @Maedi.Thank you so much! This was the debut for the picnic scarf. I spied another cw in the Munich boutique.
You look sharp and on point in the black BdG and lovely with Pirouette, dear twin.
Oh, what a very lovely comment @FA73!!! I do love me an H classic and when they produce a scarf ring in the same motif, what could I do 🤷♀️ . Looking forward to your pattern mixing/blending attempts too-- so much inspiration hereIf I were H, I would showcase your BdG Forever look as the ultimate/quintessential/forever BdG Forever styling. It is just so perfect, polished, and gorgeous!
As for your SOTD, and SOTE, love seeing your successful pattern mixing and looking forward to getting more inspiration on that front (and from our dear @Cookiefiend also!
I love your cw of this already much loved design @FizzyWater!!! I have only ever seen it once at a reseller... fantastic colors.Sneaking in with the blue Oiseaux, highlighting the cheeky guy perched on an insulator:

The weather’s been so unpredictable and wet that I haven’t worn many scarves lately, but it’s a glorious day today. I’m off to the Schrebergarten to see if the magpies and crows are impressed.![]()
Wow. You can really feel the energy of this design even when it is tied @Redbirdhermes!I pulled out a pretty Annie Faivre to wear with my Tahitian pearls today.

Looking forward to this week @Jereni! I think none of us will be at a loss for contributions. Your assessment seems correct to me also-- these designers always generate excitement (and with very good reason!).August 10-16: Amazed by Annie, Alice And Aline
Greetings Scarflandia! This week we will dive into the unending beauty and colorfulness of scarves by Annie Faivre, Alice Shirley, and Aline Honore! Three of the most popular designers of the ‘modern era’ of Hermes scarf repertoire, or at least it seems to me.
I will return later with some sub-themes but since my initial research shows that Annie began doing scarves for Hermes first, let’s start with your Annie Faivre scarves today!
Thank you so much, LKB ...maybe a green one is niceThat buttery yellow Quai aux Fleurs is so lovely @Croisette7! I do not have a Torana but you are definitely making me look twice!

Twins! I found mine at the Paris sale, unfortunately with a fat ink stampThank you @Jereni, for leading us in what is bound to be a bountiful week of eye candy! I will start off with my most beloved Annie Faivre: La Danse du Cheval Marwari dip dye. I am besotted by this scarf. I can barely bring myself to tie it because every time I go to wear it, I become paralyzed by the loveliness. I adore this design and have two other silk twills and a CSGM, but this one is truly special-- a "Desert Island Design" for me! Today it is adding some much needed interest to my plain linen dress.

Your cw is romantic and lovely. I am so in love with this dd and gave in to two colors as well. A fabulous design and inspiring knot.
Love it.
Nevertheless absolutely gorgeous.
It’s so hot here (35 Celsius) and these colors make me dream of cool waters. An incredible scarf!
4 stunning looks - and how indeed could you resist the BdeG ring? I mean - fuggedaboudit!I want to offer a huge thank you to @AnnaE for an amazing job of research, compilation, organization and posting this week. It would be such a shame not to memorialize this in a specific thread! Very much appreciate the work. I am also blown away by the number of Grygkar scarves-- including rare ones!-- in your personal collection. Another amazing achievement!
I was going to conclude with a collage of my many iterations of Brides de Gala but I ran out of steam! Instead I will post two archive shots: first, the Bride de Gala Forever published by Hermès a few seasons ago. The Forever scarves are reissues of classic designs in what the house considers an iconic colorway. Brides de Gala Forever was issued in black, white and gold (shown with BdG scarf ring!)
