Thank you. And yes. Lovely birds and a tiny butterfly 😊Thank you so much, @HermesEchidna , for this wonderful Critter Week full of wondrous animals and so instructive! You have been hosting it to perfection. 😇 😆 Today a scarf I think I will part with, despite of its beauty, it has too many negative memories for me. Do you see the butterfly?View attachment 6157326View attachment 6157325
Oh I love to be twins with you dear @KarenskaThank you for your kind words 😊 And the donkey with the flowers on his head is one of my favorites on all of my scarves 😍
Like I wrote this morning, I‘ll join the Kachinas team of @HermesEchidna with my maxi twilly. And some critters!

Before I disappear into holidays and vacation, let me just say thank you to @HermesEchidna for creative and fun leadership and to everyone else for the beautiful and informative participation. I learned a lot and have new and wonderful vignettes, species and critters to look for in my scarves.
I'll close with a TPF debut of my most recent CCP . One that absolutely fits the theme of biodiversity this week! I went a little crazy and added these huge fun earrings. which are much darker in real life than the sun has made them in the photo!

Wonderful critters in this design, including an upside down owl for @Jereni!
Good morning!
I will be hiding in bed with chamomille tea and selfpity today.
So let us check for critters hiding in plain sight as well!
I wish I have had time to look even more close at my scarves for this week in advance, as I know there are animals still hiding, that I have not found. I love finding an animal on a long loved design, which I did never see before, or to discover hidden wildlife I had not expected in newly arrived pieces.
Retour a la Nature is an example - I had seen the cat, the eagle and the other birds, but how about these two lurking around?

Also It took me more than a year to discover the roadrunner and even the bear in the middle of Texas wildlife, it being overshadowed by the turkey.

A final favourite is Nothing but a dreamer - so many small and hidden creatures to find

Yesterday @Lellabelle provided a great game of finding Kluska and we have also searched for the Faivre monkeys cleverly hiding, but I am certain the combined sleuthing of Scarflandia can discover even more hidden creatures. Please find and share.
And a collective apology to you all for me not commenting or answering many of your critter-posts this weekend. Please know I so love seeing your beautifull scarves and appreciate you playing along!
Wish you a splendid Saturday!!
So beautiful with the pearls.😍 I believe you have several cw of CdA, no? It took me too long to decide, and now I have none.🥲Thank you to @HermesEchidna for hosting Critters Week. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Great knot with your pink Kachinas. Your research shared here over the years has increasingly endeared this design to me.Joining the Kachinas crowd today - I love this scarf!
As you know the Kachinas represent ancestral spirits for the Hopi and Peublo people, and the dolls are given as gifts to children.
I used to think they were scary, till I did some research on them.
Here’s just a couple:

@Cookiefiend - Your pink Kachinas is delightful, but I’m thinking your CSGM would coordinate nicely with my Carnaval des Animaux today. I get a kick out of how colorways seem to repeat themselves on occasion.Joining the Kachinas crowd today - I love this scarf!
