Both look wonderful on you, which is no surprise as your recreation was/is a superb approximation of the new season scarf. To stick to last week resolution, here is the comparaison between closet/new scarf. Both have contrasted hems. What do you think ? View attachment 5689136

scarf frenzy management lol!Thank you @Redbirdhermes and @Coco2606. Very rational and helpful answers. If it overlaps with things I already have, and love, then it should probably be a question of ‘want’ rather than ‘need’ (though there are exceptions!).
I am unlikely ever to tie this is such a way as to highlight the yellow corner, which makes the colours overall pretty similar. Yesterday was a good experiment, as it definitely helped scratch the itch. I might have to try this at the start of each new season!
We already have CCP (colour correction program) and FEP (format enhancement program)… perhaps we should also add SRP (scarf recreation program), or SFM (scarf frenzy management)!
A little addition to say that, despite my challenges with yellow, the yellow space derby with its rainbow edge is gorgeous!
I LOVE the one you already have!To stick to last week resolution, here is the comparaison between closet/new scarf. Both have contrasted hems. What do you think ? View attachment 5689136

Karen, thanks for the welcome back and the affirmation! Hope your healing is progressing...Happy to have you back, Hermesguy, after your foray into non-H. This looks perfect with your green shirt and I like how you tied it.
Graphic wonder, indeed, Lkb . That first knot is incredible for showcasing the hem. Wowza! Must try this with my pink/black-hemmed Animapolis.Going to try to do more than like your posts this morning after my Zoom meeting. Wearing the graphic wonder Les Ailes de la Soie-- another example of a great hem plus border combo. Tied two ways to let her strut her stuff: tight pleated knot to show off a sassy black hem (inspired by @Nomad's mod shot of yesterday) and long Rando tie to show the border... Happy Wednesday, Scarflandia!

Your Act III in this distinguished green with shining yellow hem is sumptuous! Am exquisite grail!
The orange hem on your Sieste au Paradis makes the colours stand out. Joyful and fresh look!
Indeed, it's a luxurious cw! Sparkling beauty!
Lovely delicate Bobby must appreciate the delicious tempting green of this scarf and the overall optimistic vibe of the Steppes' striking landscape!
Very refined! Suites you so nicely!
Just great!
I love it! Very stylish!
I agree: glorious, captivating, tasteful! And perfectly matched with your earrings and necklace!
This is such a winner cw of the Danse des Amazones, @ EtsyBoss! Congrats! Very smartly pared with the purple sweater.
Modern grace and sophistication! I adore your Colliers de Chiens and Le Chien, des anges gardiens! Coco has a look of an expert! She is a true beauty without any Colliers, but she certifies that your silk Collier with intricate design, elaborate border and delicate lilac hem is simply the best!
Dear CedarWaxWing, your Coupons Indiens is delightful and radiant!
Charming La marche du Zambèze! Great comely border and hem!
It is so festive! Sheer joy!

There's no bad way to tie our beautiful RduS @Maedi and that scarf ring is a pretty great addition to the scarf jewelry box I think!
Thank you @Snausages. At the moment, I am like you, actually living in an animal parade of my own-- not elephants but pups...
Lovely on purple @Coco2606 -- I must try this as we are twins! Another great great hem + border combination!
Welcome to SOTD @MidlifeFashionPrincess -- what a beautiful scarf and what a perfect place for you to learn new and fun ways to enjoy it. You'll have many guides and fellow moussie lovers here to help! Glad you joined the fun.
One thing is certainly true-- every format must have a hem or a border or both @Coco2606 so we are in good shape!
How could I not love this @Karenska? So happy the stars in the Scarf Cosmos aligned that day! (and thank you)
Thank you so much @bunnycat-- I am embracing its bright, laid back beachy vibe and strong colors
Thank you. I learned some good border strategies from you my dear @Cookiefiend-- "Be the Border" comes to mind...
Congratulations on your new Costume de Fete @Redbirdhermes-- just in time for the theme.
Really wonderful colors and I love just sticking with the drama of a white top @Coco2606 ...
That is the nicest comment @EtsyBoss-- it is a fun post-retirement hobby and a gift to have the time to fool around with my scarves, but honestly every knot I make is ridiculously simple to do, so a master class would take ten minutes max!
This is a fantastic Pytheas @Nomad and you have picked the perfect top (from amid your closet re-do). Is this the Pleats Please knot from Scarf Art? Brilliant to try it with a "border-rich" scarf!
@MAGJES! Love both of these so much dear twin and sister and thanks to you I have that lovely Plumes! It may even have been this mod shot that sent me on my specific, dedicated hunt! Thank you also for the sweater love-- I know we are both enthusiasts!
I still hope to find this lovely whimsical scarf in this cw with that darling hem, @Cookiefiend...great on the dark green top.
I am always looking for this design dear @hermesguy -- so glad to hear that it is getting the neck time it deserves... (PS you can still call it a scarf among friends...)
I am so happy to see your lovely shawl @MAGJES but I am totally distracted by that cutie-patootie sitting next to you!
Thank you @Stylehound! Very nice of you to say.
Thanks cutie!@Coco2606 these are both mouthwatering! Love that Zambeze and regret not pulling the trigger on it when it was around my neck a year ago
Bodacious borders @LKBNOLA - like really big hems!
A fabulous first post @MidlifeFashionPrincess ! Welcome!
The florals are TDF @GloWW0rM wnd the subtle hem is just the perfect touch
I love this colorway @Karenska !
The brights look great against the mustard @Redbirdhermes (and twinsies!)
@Nomad this is beyond gorgeous. I have Pytheas envy
Oh @Teaforparrots the question never occurred to me and I would assume the answer is no…
Pink and green is a great combo and you look amazing in it @Cookiefiend
Fantastic hem @cali_to_ny and a lovely soft look
Very stylish as always @hermesguy and the mosaics add a nice hint of texture
All winning looks @MAGJES and the knot on Plumes is perfection
Gorgeous colors @Stylehound and fabulous pattern mixing with the dress!

Awww - thank you dear Nhare!@LKBNOLA Love this scarf and how you tied it, but even with your tutorial, I can’t figure it out. I’ll have to try it when I have more time.
@Cookiefiend The border on this is fantastic. I rehomed this in the magenta cw because it had a lot of gold and didn’t fit my more casual life. Miss the border. Your Coco is so sweet!
So beautiful with your green sweater!
@Coco2606 Hi sister, I have this in the pale pink wash, love it and especially the border
@MidlifeFashionPrincess Beautiful scarf, cw, and I like the way you tied it. I think it matches the more casual moussie feel
Spectacular! So many wonderful posts, pictures and stories that I am having trouble keeping up. Great hems, borders and styling in Scarflandia!
Cross-over share from me. It has a border and a multi-coloured happy hem for this week’s theme and is also apropos to last week, as like @Nomad one of my resolutions is to enjoy my favourites more, rather than let them languish in the drawer.
Also, following @Coco2606’s example, I am trying to ”shop my collection” to help me resist new season temptation. CW01 of Rendez-vous galant has been whispering to me. It’s not available at the moment where I am, which is helping… a little. I keep telling myself I prefer twill and that I much prefer 90 to 70 size. I am lucky to have a few of Ugo’s designs already, so this is a perfect candidate to consider what I already have. @Coco2606 did an amazing job of exceeding the promise of Jardin des Pientres and @Redbirdhermes also gave us a great example of using wardrobe colours to add to the recreation. Continuing in their footsteps, here’s my best attempt for RVG CW01:

Navy and mustard together are perfect - such a great contrast but not a harsh contrast. The seals and walruses are the icing on the cake! From the archives:
I usually avoid wide borders like the plague. The one exception in my collection is my Regard de L'Arctique, where I just love the contrast between the lively mustard border and the navy background. Plus the border has these adorable seals and walruses in the corners

Yes please! And one of my all time favorite borders is Savana Dance. Particularly in this cw. Lavender? With Vermillion?? Yes please!

Awwwww - Coco would love extra hugs and belly scritches from you and @monteverdi !When I see your darling Coco, Cookie, I feel so danged bereft - because I can’t hug her sweet self through the photo… It’s like an itch you can’t reach to scratch
.
oh boy!! Fantastic choices - your plisse inspires me with - well - with desire... it makes such a beautiful plisse!Good day, ScarfLovers, it’s going to be a busy next few days and I will indeed wear a SOTD daily, but I’m going to bolster this week’s theme with some archives, too. Tohu Bohu, plisse-ed, makes for a rather buoyant and fun hem:

The colours in the 2nd double sided scarf from SS 2023 echo the look (colours/patterns) you've already achieved (superbly) by "shopping your closet". Double sided scarfs are expensive, IMO I don't think you need to replicate a look you can already achieve with scarfs you already own.To stick to last week resolution, here is the comparaison between closet/new scarf.
