Happy Saturday and Christmas Eve Eve, everyone! And, so we come to the end of our week… I have had a blast compiling these posts and, most of all, browsing through so many amazing pictures shared by all here… Thank you so much for your generous and most gracious reception to my offerings and for allowing me to participate…

The true jewels of this forum are not our jewelry or scarves: it is each and everyone of you!

So, I conclude by sharing a few more fun collages beginning with these magnificent dragonfly brooches/pendants by the genius of Sorrell. The wings are fashioned from carved art glass and the body from an array of clear rhinestones. I own a green and a yellow one and sometimes attach them to a Vrba pearl torsade. Here both worn with two different Cws of Carnaval des Oiseaux giant silk and Vrba earrings

To its right, a massive and very long Buddha-themed necklace by Vrba featuring vintage components including carved bone and wood…. with A l’Ombre des Pivoines…
At bottom right a Patrice dragonfly necklace, with Mountain Zebra… Bottom left a Victorian Whitby jet pendant and chain link necklace which I like to wear with C’est la Fete to achieve a Death and the Maiden theme.

And, here some favorite Native American and silver pieces… The two necklaces are vintage Zuni corn maiden fetish necklaces. The colorful one at right consists of a strand of various handcrafted, detailed stone fetishes depicting a variety of animals, fish and birds crafted from turquoise, gaspeite, lapis lazuli, malachite, sugilite, jasper, and jet. The large centerpiece features a traditional corn maiden. Both are worn with different CWs of Kachinas giant triangle. The earrings top left are Old Pawn Navajo coral, turquoise and silver, also with Kachinas…
Bottom right, large silver Mexican folkloric earrings reminiscent of Frida Kahlo’s hand earrings, styled with L’Arbre du Vent

Beginning at top left with a duo worn together with Les Danses des Indiens.
The chunky necklace is composed of a combo of silver tribal beads as well as orange tested bakelite beads, faceted galalith beads and genuine amber beads. The more delicate necklace is a Navajo silver strand punctuated by garnets.
To the right, a Tibetan onyx cross inlayed with silver and a turquoise cabochon. It is suspended from a vintage silver “Navajo pearls” strand and is paired with Wa Ko Ni… Also with Wa Ko Ni, vintage sterling earrings by Deborah West of the Lipan Apache tribe. The engraved discs are centered by malachites and feature dangles of silver, malachite and lapis tubular beads capped by arrowhead, feather and moon and star charms. To the left a vintage set of turquoise and coral beads set on silver which was custom made and a gift from my parents over 30 years ago… worn with Appaloosa des Steppes

-a rare vintage set of necklace and matching earrings produced in the 1950s by the collaboration genius of Robert DeMario and Stanley Hagler… with Carre Kantha moussie
-a Swoboda coral and pearl marine-themed pendant worn with pearl strand and Under the Waves mousseline
-custom-made silver repoussé butterfly pendant from Nepal with massive fuchsia chalcedony stone at its center. The pendant is mounted on rows of pink agate and brushed silver beads… with Parures de Samourais

I feel like you were a docent in a beautiful museum guiding us through galleries of lovely pairings. Just an amazing amount of work and information and beauty in each post. Very much appreciated and what a marvelous lead in to the holiday with all the glitter and shine (not to mention Christmas brooches!) too. I am absolutely smitten with the Au Coeur de la Vie pairing-- so beautiful! Hoping you have a beautiful and festive time with your family this evening. For this week, show your cashmere shawls, large or small, and other large formats you own. And your Christmas presents, if in scarf form. How you wear them - at home, out in the cold ⛄ ❄️, above your coat or under? Do you have a favourite, or do you keep them in rotation?

When I started buying H scarves, I was reluctant to spend that much money on a CSGM. Too afraid of losing them, damaging them, not wearing them enough. Now I have more than enough of them and love them. I try to keep their number small (though I fell for one last week, more about this later this week).

SOTD is a Christmas themed scarf, Madison Party. And last week I wore one of my most used CGSMs, Peuple du vent.

Thank you for this warm and inviting introduction @Agrume--love both your examples! What a nice counterpoint to end the year with this theme after the beautiful week we have just had! I am going to share my SOYE-- a lovely triangle. This was the second GT I bought and remains a favorite-- the swirls on the design remind me a bit of jewelry so perhaps it can even be a crossover scarf...

And my SOTD is not cashmere, but I am going to stretch the theme because it looks so realistically like a cozy, warm, knitted sweater or muffler around my neck. Hat tip to @Redbirdhermes for the inspiration and to our new sister @Cookiefiend. Besides the very very cool trompe l'oeil tag, this delightful scarf has different colored contrast hems on each side.

Welcome @Agrume, to Keeping Warm Week. Our current temperature this Christmas Eve morning is already 50F, which is very warm for here in the North. I'm heading to the airport to pick up DD for Christmas with my marble Ex-Libris 90 in cashmere and silk. Between family and friends this might be all the warmth I need today.

SOTE, another JL for an early Christmas dinner at a favourite restaurant with DH. This one is the SE (or is it LE?), Jungle Love Love. Thanks to whoever posted the recent how-to for the mini-bib style tie; this was a great way to maximize the green and red to make it more festive!

Paired with a red leather braided wrap bracelet with sterling silver lion heads, and a red leather skirt.

I love this design - I have a hot pink 90 silk - and I wasn't really aware of it in CSGM - very cool!

SOYD to share the Christmas celebration with my sister and brother and my mom’s side of the family. It was lovely, my sister’s home was decorated so beautifully and it was a nice size - about 15 people. My scarf is not H but my darling holiday scarf that makes an appearance at least once during the season. Paired with my new pearl pendant and gold ball earrings which paired very nice indeed!

Tonight I share the holiday with my dad’s side - uncles, aunts, cousins. It will be crazy with about 30 people plus three cousin-littles 7,6 and 5, whose excitement I will enjoy sharing.

The happiest of holidays to all of you observing and wishing every one here peace, love and comfort as we enjoy the last week of 2023. ❤️

Oooeee what a week of amazing jewelry/scarf combinations. Just amazing. I was always pages and pages behind so I had no time for comments. Here is sotd and Christmas mail. And at some point this week someone said cloisonné, so I reached for one of mine to match with a scarf. Butttt I never got to wear it this week sadly But I will post pic to join.
Ecosse today tied to highlight the purple thistle. I love to wear jewel tones during the holiday. And wearing an early Christmas present of a sterling necklace. It came with a stunning, but massive flower pendant that is not something I could wear w a scarf.
