A beautiful dog with such soulfoul, wise eyes. Are they usually this color? And thank you for your kind words. We also have a border collie.
Thank you @Maedi. He’s a blue Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff). It’s a recognized coat colour for the breed, but as it comes from a double-recessive gene it doesn’t show up often, and there are fewer blues then other colours. Our other boy was a black brindle with deep brown eyes.

He's very expressive and communicates a lot with his eyebrows!

Ooh, sorry to hear of your fall dear Bunny! I hope you feel better soon.

Cats are masters of serene angelitude (it’s not a word, but it should be!) one minute and whirling vorticies of mayhem the next. JQ, Tyger and JL all focus on their sweet peaceful sides ;)

That stamped jungle love was made for you!
Edited to wish you a speedy recovery

Yes! It’s fab on you @bunnycat. You wear so many designs well, but this one really shines on you.

Thank you both very kindly Lellabelle and hotgalaxy! I have had another round of Advil, contemplating a late night soak, and as the evening presses on, more body parts that apparently took a hit in the fall through the door are making themselves known. I suspect I'll be pretty sore in the morning as the achy knee and ankle that have cropped up are finally making themselves known. I didn't actually faceplant in my attempted Snicker tackle, but man, I think everything but my face must have made contact with the concrete... :hrmm:

This past week's been crazy and I haven't had any time at all to look for bunnies...so kitties will have to do.

Many cute pictures with Pickles and Snickers from this past week that make them look like angels...but in reality Pickles pulled some yarn off one of my looms last night and chewed on it. Now he is under observation (again) for intestinal blockages. Meanwhile, Snickers made yet another backyard escape and probably spent a good 2 hours out there running wild in the back yard while I was working on beads and didn't know. Then when I caught her and put her in, she ran back out the back door whereupon I engaged in pursuit, jumped for her before she could get out the patio door again, tripped and fell through the door myself, injuring my shoulder, toe and hip. It sucks to be old.... :cursing: So please keep this story in the back of your mind while you oooh- and -ahhh about them being little   Because today it was certainly more like kitties trying to :death: me

They look so innocent yet are full of shenanigans. You're beautiful in the big cat GMs.

That's a beautiful coat color. So glad to read that he's healing.

Take good care of yourself.

Oh no! Advil and a hot bath sound like an excellent plan. And if all else fails, Grace Kelly yourself a Hermes sling, bind the ankle with a maxi twilly for support, and you’ll look fabulous while you enjoy that drink you mentioned.

‘Auto-incorrect’ (I am stealing that) just changed ’Advil’ for ‘David’. I have no idea who David is, so cannot endorse his pain-relieving skills, or recommend him as a bath-partner :roflmfao:

Welcome to Day 5 of the Paws for Thought theme week! Today we're focusing on hooves*! Hooves are kind of like paws, and horses are fur babies, yes?

Hermes began as a leather harness maker so horses are an integral part of the brand’s history. When a boutique opens, the first customer is always a horse.

My holiest of all holy grails is Accidents de l’Equitation but I’ve never seen one IRL or on the resale market. Should I find one, it would likely be the horsiest scarf in my collection because I just don’t gravitate to more classic designs.

But even someone like me has plenty of horses/horse adjacency in the scarf drawer: Cheval a Caractere, Vif Argent, Ulysse En Attendant, Quatre Chevaux

But if we want to stretch things, there are other Hooved furbabies beyond equines: pigs have been kept as pets (and are as smart as dogs!), Highland Cows are a bit big for pets but have adorable fur, and everyone knows llamas wear pajamas, right?

And so, my Silken Sisters and Brothers, I ask you to show me your hooved scarves! Bonus points for showing your real life animal friends!
(*Have no fear – any SOTD is on-theme!)

I was searching for bunnies in my scarf collection and found more than I expected! Many of them are designs from recent years and there are some dupicates. It also happen to be three of my favourite, current scarf artists!

The bunny with glasses! How adorable.
Dear @Snausages, thank you so much for such a wonderful and informative intro to a delightful week on SOTD!

Happy Chinese/Lunar New Year, everyone! Being the Year of the Rabbit, I will accept the invitation to begin with rabbits… So, here is my latest Hermès scarf, and one that it’s perfect for the theme as the illustration contains a bunny, a puppy and a cat: Tea for Two

Here is a flatlay showing the bunny to the left as well as the Hermès lucky red envelopes

Happy CNY!!
Some bunnies from scarves I will not wear this week. Jardin de soie gavs. And pony express. I do not have many scarves with bunnies to my surprise. I love them so much, and have had them as pets. I was surprised I couldn’t find one on animapolis.

I’ve always loved that rabbit on Pony Express. I didn’t realize we were red/blue Jardin gav twins. Great bunny find on that one!
