I do have some multiples at home-- notably my truest and earliest scarf loves Parures de Samurais and Ex Libris en Kimonos, which I shall try to post when I return home. In the meantime, this last season was ruinous for me in terms of designs so here are some multiples I recently acquired... and thank you for indulging my catch-up post!

Love these!! I have been eyeing Lanternes and I think you’ve tied them so beautifully

Dear partners in crime!
Your pictures and stories provided effective guilt-relief this week! Thank you! It’s so good to laugh together through constraints, bans and infatuations.
Never thought I would fall for the same pattern in a different colour!
My latest coup de coeur - Rob Leger’s Gavroche Twill. Originally I wanted to get a blue or a red one, but the store did not have any of those. After trying a multicoloured cw with an orange borderline, I fell in love with it, bought it and discovered that it was almost like neutral, matching nicely blue, and beige, brown and grey, complimenting casual t-shirts and jeans. The thought of the red cw haunted me for four weeks and I reasoned with myself successfully, though. Finally, my alternative inner voice convinced me that I deserved something extra for the up-coming b-day. I thought I would just go and check, and since the store didn’t have the red cw i, perhaps, would just safely order. You know the end of this vignette: the store has got the vermillion/rose/grid cw 11 just that very morning I decided to check. My “red” Gavroche came home with me
I hope to be super strong not to check on the blue cw and the 90 carres!

Ohh the red one is so beautiful. And it goes with your tweed jacket so well! I just got the 90cm in the Marine colorway but this red one might have to be next on my list..

(sorry for the double post, I haven’t quite figured out how to do multi quotes yet)

After a summer of being too hot to wear scarves, I am obviously excited to wear my silken beauties again. Autumn weather is really my sweet spot for them. It’s a triple hitter day haha. 3 scarves!! Changed again for dd outdoor softball practice and a Salem witch walk W temp drop. Just bought this sweater coat ( really long) in this neutral brown and wanted to wear it on this cool night.

My very first Hermès scarf was this vintage Equateur that I ordered from a reseller in France at the start of the pandemic.

View attachment 5624457

When the Equateur wash scarves appeared for a while on h.com, I picked up this azure blue version. I love the soft silk.

My scarf of the day is this blue wash Equateur.

Gorgeous green. Love your whole outfit too. I am your sister and it is one of my favorites in a 140.
It wasn’t on purpose - I’d left a job, spent my days in T-shirt’s and track pants doing yardwork, and lost 90 pounds which made necklaces exciting to wear again. Thought I’d sell my collex, came here to see what was ‘hot’, saw Animapolis and the rest as they say is history :happydance:

Awooo I think was the only purchase I made in that period, so to stay on theme…View attachment 5624801View attachment 5624800View attachment 5624799

Faubourg Rainbow CSGM:

Aaaand Faubourg Rainbow twilly

Faubourg is perfect with your Moto jacket color. Perfect together
That 70 is amazing, Bunny. And Pickles seems very contented in his TR. That is the sweetest pic!
I love Pickles :hbeat: :hbeat: :hbeat: :hbeat: . Yearning for a kitten because Her Majesty, Queen Minette, that is, pays way more attention to her daddy, and with my sweet Mischief, my avatar and angel, now over the Rainbow Bridge, I am kitty lost. I hug Minette like crazy and I know she loves me, but I miss my beautiful Chiff :crybaby:. But it’s not the right time.
Here are my two Kachinas GTs, and exulting in finally cataloging my scarf collex, complete with clear labels. :cutesy: What a relief.View attachment 5625038View attachment 5625045
this design translates so well into these larger formats. And the colors, swoon. I need to. One borrow your orange cardigan to go with my orange Les triples haha. I still haven’t found anything at the stores to go with it.

everyone has said it…such a polish on your choice of ties w each scarf and top color choice. I mean each one is a 10 out of 10.
My story is almost identical to yours! I loved the idea of the original but not the price, size or shape so was a reluctant “no” from me. Then I lusted after the double-face in the colour you have (and LKB too?) but couldn’t get it so settled for the pink/red version…

Dear scarfies, have been MIA due to family matters and just plain avoiding social media for a bit! Slowly getting caught up again and visiting recent threads on the latest and upcoming scarf issues.

I haven’t been wearing too many silks since working from home but now fall weather gets me to bring out those pretty colorful squares. I nearly wanted to release many over the summer as they have been languishing in the tansu, but now seeing them I feel happy wearing one or two again.

As for theme week, I initially avoided the designs of Kermit Oliver with the seriousness of his subjects and realistic renderings, but I grew to appreciate his artistry as I became more knowledgeable about his work and his relationship with Hermes.

I’m grateful to have a few of his designs. They all depict Native American or wildlife, both subjects that are dear to me. Today it is Les Danses des Indians.

Have a great weekend!

Les Legendes De L'Arbre - 2017… I was in Las Vegas at a work event at the Bellagio and peaked into the Hermes shop “just to look”. That I walked out with De L'Arbre in Rose Vif/Framboise/Bleu still surprises me, as I’m a blue girl at heart. Much later in 2020, I saw the periwinkle blue/chartreuse 1998 on a reseller site. It only took a moment to decide.

Thank you to everyone for the likes and loves on my "Jungle Chickens"! A few days away from y'all is like entering quote eternity...never ending pics of swoonable loveliness. Going to try to not miss any photos and have read, chuckled and nodded along with comments as I caught up...

Twins on the first @ajaxbreaker! I think you were among the enablers-- I glimpsed it out of the corner of my eye as I was leaving the Short Hills boutique last spying and they had exactly one fresh one left in store. Now it is mine all mine.... :graucho: I love you grey one also. Perfectly styled.

The most beautiful colors on this blue cw of LM @paula24jen -- how did they carve up the elephant outline for the triangle I wonder? Could we see it flat?

These are gorgeous, @Redbirdhermes. I particularly love the first-- never have seen that green in natural light...

Both are beautiful-- transformed by the colors which is why multiples make sense amirite @Cookiefiend?

A marvelous pop of colors for you-- this happy little gav is absolutely charming and perfect with your lovely hair or on your neck @ajaxbreaker! Lucky find, too.

A group of giraffes (I learned this week while reading a fun book to my grand-little) is called a "tower"-- the perfect collective noun for your stunning beauties @MAGJES-- and I adore Kantha too- I am twins on the pink 90-- a fun and pretty scarf...

Welcome, @greycity! I love your scarf (on my wish list actually) and hope to see a lot more of you on the thread!

A lovely and colorful herd @Redbirdhermes! I remember when you helped me decide between cws for mine...

Wonderful @labelo and congratulations on adding the little zebra to your dazzle (:giggle: )

Oh, my @Snausages. This collection of Shirley designs is spectacular... and beautifully knotted and styled.

Le sigh @xincinsin ... that is all.

A magical scarf association @EtsyBoss-- of course you had to have this in your collection! Beautiful photos of a memorable moment.

The SE is TDF @Nomad but I am twins on the first and I adore the moody blue color and the hem. I mostly wear it with neutrals so maybe that is why I haven't experienced it as difficult to wear. The lazy scarf lover's color pairing approach! Navy or cream...

Wow! A trifecta @Cookiefiend! Beautiful and so dramatic in the large format.

Such a lovely 90 in that season @de vent and I for one found it so hard to settle on a cw. Love this blue with the yellow hem and I think the twilly was just perfectly done. Still want to add one myself and I am not even all that much of a twilly person!

This is a marvelous multiple for you. Each of the colors is perfect @Teaforparrots. Echoing the bid for a triple scarf tie!

I can't even (as the young folk say). This is amazing @MAGJES. What an achievement as a collector.

Oh @Julide, your multiples mod shots are just works of art in themselves. I would totally buy a giclee print of this...Amazing.

Sweet photo! Who cares about makeup when you have cat snuggles? I too have Tigre in different formats @bunnycat. These are marvelous...

You know I love this so much @Nomad and I have you to thank for my own sweet orange bookcase!

Beautiful Equateurs @Redbirdhermes -- I too have the wash version. It is luscious...

Wow! Another Multiples Marvel @Snausages. They are each fabulous but that Cosmographia CSGM in yellow/pastels is TDF.

And these Awooooos!!! :faint:

Beautiful both @ajaxbreaker! The CSGM is amazing.

Congratulations on your cataloguing achievement @Karenska. You will know when the time is right to add a kitty to your family. Beautiful Kachinas here!

I just adore this design-- the soft yellow cw is lovely on you @Nomad.

Gorgeous @Agrume-- safe travels to you!

What a great story @xincinsin! Who among us does not love a scarf bargain and successful hunt tale? Can't wait to see your tying experiments with the new one. And as your twin on the double face, I can't help but love it...
Here’s a pic of the Legende Moghole triangle flat - the elephant is created by the items, rather than an outline within the items for the 90 version. I was never able to see those Magic Eye pictures so to help out, the elephant tail is on the left, monkeys are sat on a “saddle” in the middle and the elephant head is towards the right.

Hopefully the photo captures it, I’m not a talented photographer?

Sigh. I am your sister on this scarf @lanit but every time you post I just get lost in the beauty of your photos! They are so dreamy and artistically composed. I do this too @de vent-- but I have persuaded myself that there is a difference between "duplicates" and "multiples"-- or so I tell my cringing wallet... Both are lovely on you. I can see why you walked out with that framboise!
Congrats on your second CS! Happy to be your twin on it!
Thank you @bunnycat! I asked the SA for three cws of this-- absolutely 100% sure I wanted the green and the pink. Threw this cw on the list as an afterthought and ended up with the orange (not on my original list) and the anthracite, which went from afterthought to must-have in a hot minute. The hem and border are so lovely. Delighted to twin with you and @Redbirdhermes.
chilly morning so wore my csgm of Jardin de soie. Wearing my dusty aqua sweater again this week. It goes so well w SO many of my scarves. Also have the gav archive.

Then later when it hit the 70’s and too hot for csgm, I wore my Rialto of which I have 3 in total. Never have done a chou chou? Knot w a 90. I usually do it w a gav. I don’t mind it, but it’s a much bigger ball!

That sweater is one we should all have in our closets @Nomad-- it is the perfect background for so many scarves (and it is amazing with your JdS)! As you know, I adore your Rialtos...
SOTD for DH and I to commune with friends over the Hudson River SkyWalk and then lunch. It was a spectacular day and I wore my bleu jean cw of Les Mustangs bandana. I also own the noir and a navy 90.

Wonderful photo but your bandana with the yellow CdA is utterly perfect @Karenska!
I had good intentions for this week, but as usual ‘the best laid plans’ all went out the window…. But the bedroom in the basement got repaired, a missing drain was installed,
I Marie Kondo’ed the library (as well as super dusted) and got the smoke detector replaced. Whew!
Todays double (mint twin), well triplets is Kachinas!

Gorgeous and what a productive time you have had @Cookiefiend! Maybe you need a new scarf...
Love the gavroche with the linen blouse.
Thank you @Maedi and for you, and @Cookiefiend-- I owe that linen blouse to TPF! Specifically saw it on @Langsam and she mentioned it was an LLBean linen blouse so off I went to add one to my closet...
Here are my pics for you:

Just gorgeous on you! I too succumbed to the florals in the gavs-- I bought the navy and the vibrant blue. Now I think I may need the cream background one too! You are making this extraordinarily tempting with your lovely photos and styling @Stylehound!
Love these!! I have been eyeing Lanternes and I think you’ve tied them so beautifully
Thank you so much @greycity! Be sure and check out the "How-to" thread-- lots of great tying instructions/ideas etc over there.

These are fabulous. The neutral brown is stunning on you!
everyone has said it…such a polish on your choice of ties w each scarf and top color choice. I mean each one is a 10 out of 10.
Well, y'all are very kind @Nomad. When I look back at my older ties and mod shots I think we can safely say that the grade on my TPF report card might be "Shows Improvement." My new camera/phone has helped enormously too.

Oh, this is great and thank you so much @paula24jen -- what a very clever way to keep the elephant in this "abbreviated" format! Leave it to H... The most beautiful florals in this cw...

Thank you @Karenska. It is just an Edot knot but instead of using a ring, I made a simple knot and pulled the pleats through...

I could not adore this more @paula24jen -- if I were to get another, this would be the one I would pick...

That is a beautiful twilly @withsriracha -- the white button-up is perfect.

 Yes, you called it @Redbirdhermes-- some designs just demand multiples. So happy to be twins on the anthracite. I am always inspired by your pairings...

And thank YOU for enabling my Lanternes!

Well, now my single CdC is clamoring for a pack of friends. See what you have done @Snausages? These are fabulous...

Your KOS are TDF @Snausages! (perfect three letter acronym action there, did you see?)

One learns such amazingly useful (and fun) things from fellow scarfies! Thank you for the heads up @Smae-ze.

:faint: :faint: :faint:

@orchard! I feel as if I have wandered into a magical tapestry and textile museum full of breathtaking beauty. Your multiples collection in both design is simply delirium-inducing...

Sigh. I am your sister on this scarf @lanit but every time you post I just get lost in the beauty of your photos! They are so dreamy and artistically composed. Always love having you back in Scarflandia. I hope you can enjoy your silks as the seasons change. I agree with @Nomad that sometimes life creates "estrangements" from your beauties but it makes it such a joy to re-engage.

Thank you LKBNOLA!
Absolutely, some designs just demand multiples.

Last fall, I became intrigued by the Giant Triangle format. I started with Folklore and Zebra Pegasus and I love the format so much for my New Orleans winters that I added two more in the spring. So while not technically multiples, I sure am representing, as they say. Thinking that Sweet Dreams may have to join my Scarf Geometry...hmmm.
