Guten Morgen Scarflandia!

I see y'all are still going big and strong with the blues! Thanks to all for the wonderfully BLUE week! So many beauties surfaced for the week. It was a pleasure.

Feel free to continue on with it as I think many of you will have plenty of opportunity for this with Segue Sunday.

Many of you have designs you loved and a color you adore (blue - or ???) so how many of these blue favorites will also make it in to this week's theme of multiples? :roflmfao:

02 Oct 2022 I’m Not In Love: Scarves you tried in vain to resist, and total capitulation – the multiples!

In the earlier days of my scarf collecting, I tried my best to instill a "no multiples" rule. Only one of any design, or any format. Well, the first two go away was the part about not having a multiple in a different format, and of course, it was a just a matter of time before the entire thing fell apart. I don't remember (without looking waaaaay back in my files) which one broke my rules first. But I do remember the first time I tried in vain to resist and couldn't. That was Jaguar Quetzal. I meant to only buy the one, but noooooope... I could never ever get the second one I liked out of my head. So, 6 months later I gave in and hunted down the purple one.

My first JQ

The "tried to resist and failed" purple colorway.

Nowadays, I have learned a little more when I know I will have to give in to obsession, and when I can "wait it out"

My first Chorus Stellarum when it showed up on H dot com in July.

View attachment 5622427

And here we are, less than 2 months later, with the second one. This is actually the orginal one I wanted whereas the first one I bought was my "just in case I can't find another" piece, and couldn't get out of my head. The mod shots I saw made me fear the border wouldn't work on me, and that the greens wouldn't be bright enough...

CS CW 08 as soon as I found it. I hesitated about 15 seconds and gave in. Glad I did.

So go ahead and dedicate this week to the ones you love....the multiples! (I'll give you a double bonus if they are multiples and in blue too if you are a blue lover...just for kicks.. )
A happy and fun introduction, Bunny, and another juicy theme. Beautiful examples, too. Your cw choices of Chorus Stellarum are excellent. Since the green cw has been frustratingly so elusive, I am considering the gris nacre/anthracite cw.

:party:Fab intro Bunny!:party:This is my kind of week!!:giggle: You may not know that I started my scarf collection as the exact opposite of Bunny. My thought (as quoted from me:giggle:) was if I found a design I liked tied I would buy it in as many colours that worked with my wardrobe, thereby:smartass:eliminated the need to constantly:rolleyes:search for suitable scarves in the coming years. This strategy was an epic failure:facepalm:only leading to a much larger collection of scarves under a guise of ease:lol: In hindsight:thinking:I should have made more than one rule!!:lol:Kicking off my multiples with Les Artisans. I also have a love of Japanese themed scarves too:lol::lol:View attachment 5622566
Gorgeous array! And so neatly folded in this beautiful panoply. This will be a fun week!

Welcome back, @bunnycat, for multiples week. I'm going to begin this week with a multiple showing ocean life.

I looked for Alice Shirley's Under the Waves for some time before finding a brand new mousseline at a price I couldn't say no to.

View attachment 5622490

But, I kept on looking for a 90 and recently found this beauty.

View attachment 5622491

I wouldn't mind, however, adding more colorways of this design, so I think that my scarf journey here is not yet complete.

SOTD is Under the Waves.

That alma is like a painting. Gorgeous

Is that savana a 140? I love it

Loved seeing this in all its chameleon beauty! This is brilliant to do w a scarf to see how you like it best.

Love your necklace with this. I am a big fan of two sided jewelry ha. And so wonderful to see the two sides displayed so differently.

Awesome outfit w the scarf. Great to see this new season scarf!

Twins on Samourais. And that finesse looks magical

Yay!!! Love seeing this design in blue! Congratulations on the find. So perfect for autumn. I can do these oranges too. Hmm...I gotta step away from tpf for a moment. I’m not hopping on a google search. No…no I am not ;)

Wow, shines on the gray. Love the graphics and soft tones so much

Again so great to see this new season scarf and you have shown it off beautifully w your outfit

Yay Twins on pytheas. A great soft neutral on the black. Thanks for the inspiration

Brilliant use of your necklace. Will try it sometime for sure. And you are making me fall in love more w my derby. It is an amazing piece. gorgeous. I have always been interested by bollides and the graphic border and pretty flowers on the edges. But I only ever see the bolder black and red. This colorway is absolutely beautiful!! Perfect necklace accompaniment. I do love that chants too. I bought it and returned. It came out SO early in the Season that I decided to wait for more of the season to come out, and figured I could zero in on a chants later. Well, all my cw‘s of designs I wanted the most never came to the US so I think I only ended up getting one 90 last season. But chants still haunts me to get. Sometime I will rectify. And there is one of your gorgeous tigre.

ooooo this dusty pink kimonos is wow. LOVE it!

look at those butterflies on the tails  . This was the best cw and looks great w the brwin turtleneck. Congratulations on it.

All are amazing! Thanks for the reminder to have fun w colored scarf rings. Stunning on the caleche. And your tyger has me swooning.

Yes yes yes! I like how you think haha. I would have bought every single cw of into the Canadian wild and just widdled down LATER if I needed to haha. Happy to be Twins in 3. I often am tempted by the more turquoise one, but feel I got my best three.

Hahah. Again, I like how you think haha. I have tried many greens that haven’t worked on me. I keep trying tho!!!!

I went to quote Julide and my quotes came back!!
Yes, that Savana is the 140 wash silk. So versatile and soft. The finesse BdeG is a favorite, it is a true finesse in that there is only one color in the drawing. It was also issued with multiple colors inks.

Following in the footsteps of my friend @Redbirdhermes today-- crossing over with a design that I fell in love with after seeing @frenchgirl's moussie. After I found the moussie, I obsessed about the 90. Just last week I succumbed to one I had been watching. Introducing my new-to-me 90 Rencontre Oceane and her big sister. (bonus points from @bunnycat for blues + ocean +multiples)

Your 90 is a great colorway, RO has been one of my favorites for 20 years. You wear that GM so well.

Segue Sunday with touches of blue on my favorite fur girl in a Jungle Love Twilly. She's got a 30 inch neck so cannot wear a twilly, it's way too short! I tied it into a bow and rested it on her, ever so patient with me. My 2nd Jungle Love is a CSGM (my favorite format) which I'd never let her near, the hair, the drool, the snags, eeek!
oh that sweet face! A Newfie, I presume? She is gorgeous!

Twins on the jungle love twilly. I have a red, a black and a black rainbow, in addition to the black JL rainbow 90, so I think this qualifies for multiples week, too ;). I wish I were your twin on that b&w JL CSGM, too!
OK! Here you go. Reluctantly gussied up and as usual, in the driver's seat!

Oh she’s beautiful, Nola! And the scarf is adorable on her. Good colour coordination with the car, too - clearly your stylishness runs in the family :roflmfao:

Thank you kindly Lellabelle! (I am still contemplating a 3rd CS.....we may not be quite done ...yet...)
It looks fabulous on you and I can absolutely see a third cw in your future.

I’ll confess I haven’t succumbed yet as I am an a total CW paralysis. I got my first chance to try in store a week ago. They had the pink, which I had considered, and the Gris perle/blue azure, which I had not. Of course the pink was terrible on me and the blue was the one cw I hadn’t considered, which totally threw me off. If the gris nacre is ever in stock here, that’s the way I’m leaning, but that acid green makes me nervous…!

This is one I am just not worrying about CW paralysis, since I knew from the start there'd be a strong chance I would want more than 1 of this one. I don't think there is enough acid green to be a worry with the grey one. There is more teal/truquoise on it than the lime green, which is mainly in the hem. The gris perle/blue azure is also a very pretty choice.

Twins Nomad! This is one the cutest gavs I own and perfect with your sweater.

WOW!! This is absolutely stunning!!
That beautiful Recontre Oceane moussie with the turquoise sweater is marvelous. I have the 90 silk version in the same colorway (sisters maybe?) and love this inspiration!
Thank you so much @MAGJES :hugs:
Within the first few months of my H scarf journey I fell hard for au coeur de la vie.
first I bought the red border one from the initial release. Then I bought the other 3 new from boutique in 2014.

Gorgeous-- just adore the two blue ones especially @scarf1 (and delighted to be your cousin on the black!)
Oh my word, Lkb, she is absolutely adorable. What a sweetheart. ❤️❤️

Oh so adorable! The dogs are upstaging the scarves .
Thank you-- yes, quite the fur baby parade happening here this week @Karenska!
Your 90 is a great colorway, RO has been one of my favorites for 20 years. You wear that GM so well.
Thank you @frenchgirl. I am told there are over 1200 fish on that scarf! I can actually believe it...

Thank you @Lellabelle. Little Maisie is far more stylish than I am in her parti-colored coat  We had a pair of Portuguese Water Dogs up until the last two years so this is a change for us. But she's a Big Dog in a small package which suits me fine these days...
Fabulous in both formats. LOVE the mousseline.
Thank you @Maedi. I was very diligent and disciplined in my moussie acquisitions. But when one like this presents itself, it is like a scarf gift from heaven...

Heading out early again tomorrow. Wishing all the Scarfies who observe Yom Kippur a meaningful fast and gmar chatima tova-- may you be inscribed for a good year. As I will be on the road, I am reprising my Mythiques Phoenix multiples-- small potatoes compared to our MP Queen @xincinsin, but I do love my "jungle chickens" as she calls them...
