Good morning everyone. Rounding the corner to the end of the week I thought I would post four beloved 90s . I add to my collection by artist, so here are the first two blue grails for me from Annie Faivre and Aline Honore: Cavaliers du Caucasse and Le Voyage du Pytheas, bracketing my most recent blue grail, Les Lumieres de Paris (Hidaka is an artist I am currently researching) and my very top favorite wash scarf in blue, Equateur. I amped up the blue factor by pairing some with even more blue!

Really luscious array of blues for this week LKB!
Today I'm wearing a vintage Ledoux with a big beautiful ship, L'Ocean.

View attachment 5619923

As for sea life, it features sea monsters and mermen.

I love them both (and so great to have you back @Katharina Luise)-- love the cozy no-name one but that VeE with the scarf ring and orange top os perfection. I need to try my palladium version of this ring as you have. Never thought of using it with a 90 and it looks great!

Oh, I just love this one @Redbirdhermes! :girlsigh: I hope I get as lucky in my search...

First of all, thank you for the comment, but most of all thank you for sharing more of your beautiful blues @frenchgirl. I love the Zebra gav! And the Au Contre Courant moussie is so so lovely...

I am loving your scarf challenge/penance to @Nomad (hmmm-- theme possibility? Wear a grail scarf you have ignored for one week straight or some such?) and thank you for the compliment. My wallet agrees with you @bunnycat! It waved goodbye a while back...

So nice to see this one on and so nicely tied @EtsyBoss. I saw this in the boutique and it is really really fabulous. Very tempting.

Thank you for showing this in natural light @de vent -- it looks wonderful on you. I especially like the bright yellow and blue side on you-- really makes you glow...

Oh, congratulations on this little beauty @Karenska. Such a perfect design for a bandana and what a lovely blue cw!

Both are gorgeous @Barbette-- the hems on your Paperoles are so compelling and I love the twilly colors!
A few years ago I set myself a challenge in January to wear every scarf in my collection at some point in the year. If, at the end of the year, a scarf had not been worn then it was to be rehomed to fund new purchases. I have sold some, shamefully two still had tags on, but it would be a fun theme!

Adding some fav blues
Starting with an appropriate scarf purchased in Paris.

Fabulous collection of blues. I have half of these in my own collection, and would love to have the others. Utter perfection, IMHO.

MMmmmmmarvelous!!

Great idea! I keep a spreadsheet, and around this time of the year I look to see what hasn't been worn. Then I make the decision to wear them before the year ends or list them. It's hard though... sometimes I keep them even if I haven't worn them because maybe it wasn't the right time/event/feeling, or the right 'theme'.
(I do like having a theme, because sometimes it gives me a direction to go in!)
You've chosen a beautiful scarf to start your collection with - congratulations and welcome!

Well I kept quoting so many beauties I fear this is a long mega quote haha.
My SOTD is De la mer au ciel,, with a hint of blue and ocean life hiding in the folds...View attachment 5619268
master at finding those complimentary colors with the orange and pink. I wish I had this knack when looking in my closet. Stunning. And love the peaking out graphics from mer
Thank you for the sweet good wishes as always @Maedi-- I missed y'all too!

You just have the most fabulously interesting silks @Redbirdhermes!

Thank you so much @frenchgirl! I do not think she will disappoint you! Every year I choose two scarves for the High Holidays and the double face designs have been a wonderful way to cover both day and evening services--here is "our" Orphee on the other side the night before...
View attachment 5619267

Thank you so much @bunnycat and @Cookiefiend (I don't know where your quote went!).

Oh, well I hope it is as lovely under the waves in your head as it is on your scarf! Feel better soon Bunny!

Very best of luck with the renovation and the move and all the travel @Agrume. Sounds like a very busy agenda! I am so sorry you are sick as well. Your little gav is adorable (I have not seen that blue!) and as @MAGJES commented I am going to try mine with a turtleneck too...

Thank you so much @MAGJES. It is a typical Alice Shirley in that it has magical corners. I chose the most monochromatic on that side-- the other two have little pops of red/brugundy...

Oooh that is beautiful @Cookiefiend. I love Florence Manlik-- in fact she in next up on my artist agenda so I am very intrigued by this design.

It is fabulous on you-- I adore this triangle and am so happy to be your sister @MAGJES. Congratulations.

I love this! I must try a braid with the Lift pendant-- such chic styling @MAGJES!

"A reve come true!" I love not only the shawl, which is truly lovely @Marie-the-Mary but the description! I think it should go straight into the TPF Scarf Lexicon of Silks. Right next to the entry for the "Coup de Foudre" will be its less excitable, more patiently acquired and long desired cousin, the "Reve Come True."

Oh, these colors are simply wonderful on you @EtsyBoss!

I mean...what can possibly be said @scarf1 except :faint: :ps:  :hbeat:  and :flowers: to you for sharing all this beauty...

Or, I could recover from my tongue-tied awe and echo what @Julide said! Because she happens to be totally on point...

It is so fun and great on you @de vent -- I think in your cloud you have some cute fish and water sports if I am remembering...

@Nomad, I am triplets with you and @scarf1-- my very grailiest grail CSGM. My Reve Come True. It is beyond gorgeous. I cannot believe you have three PdS you lucky girl. (and thank you-- your quote vanished, too!)

Love being triplets with you. It is gorgeous!
Morning Scarlandians! Today is the first outing for Les Voitures a Transformation which I bought at the recent London sale, on theme with the blue background. The vif jaune exactly matches my jumper too, sunglasses definitely required!

Can’t beat that border and is that a light pink hem?
Such a wonderful week! I really have problems keeping up with liking and loving all your beautiful blue ones!
Today for breakfast in town with my son in law I wore a scarf of which I don’t even know the name. A 140 mixture of wool and silk I found on resale. With a dark blue which resembles the colors of the Northern Sea on a stormy day. Big and warm and with a nice drape
And in addition one from the archives. Voyage en étoffes. View attachment 5619385View attachment 5619387
What a gorgeous soft look in pic one. Lovely! And love the lively autumn look in pic two.

Dreamy blue escape going on right here
It's a very crispy, chilly fall morning that is perfect for my newest CSGM, Botanica Grafica. This one is a very dark navy. It will reach 80 here this afternoon, so enjoying this while I can! The touches of pink, lilac, and mint are fun.

This is wrapped up to perfection to highlight the design Elements. Wow. :faint:
Sous le Charme d'Orphee in cw Marine / Crème / Vert. I don’t think this cw has been highlighted yet, so I’m including two pics that show it flat in natural light. My first double side silk…

Ooooooo I love those white horses with your button down. This is gorgeous!! H is winning in the bandana category
A couple of my more unusual shades of blue - crossover from last week Paperoles and my first time wearing Spring Spring Twilly

View attachment 5619772View attachment 5619773
Great color matching w twilly. And paperoles is such a great design. I haven’t found ‘my’ colorway yet. Yours is fantastic eye candy!
Those old scarves are so so soft. Yours is so lovely, dear Nomad, and tied so prettily. The softest, most velvety scarf I own is vintage and on-theme, too - La Comedie Italienne in cobalt and blanc. I love this old, jacquard beauty.

I’ve never seen this cw IRL - it’s so beautiful. You look lovely in it, dear RBH. Mine, a very special grail, has some watery blue and soft turquoise in it. I adore this one.

Yay!! We are Triplets w Red! I am going to wear mine today. It’s decided. I think the last time I wore it was September last year haha.
@LKBNOLA i screwed up your quote here. Great theme idea.

I am loving your scarf challenge/penance to @Nomad (hmmm-- theme possibility? Wear a grail scarf you have ignored for one week straight or some such?)

How beautiful and however did you tie it so prettily @Nomad?

I agree @Maedi-- it is so special...

Beautiful scarves @Karenska and thank you so much. Can't wait to see your Bouquets, too!
I was totally fiddling w such a soft silk. I used an elastic to put together my two accordion sides/pieces. One shorter and one longer so I could keep that flower look on the one tail. then when I was pulling through the longer tail through the elastic, I decided to stop pulling and leave it as a puff ball on the side. I am going to try it again because I really liked it!
