This whole week has been eyecandy at its finest! Thank you dear @xincinsin for guiding us again! And thank you so much dear scarfies for showing us so much beauty! I was happy to see that I am twins with @xincinsin and @LKBNOLA with Sous l‘égide de Mars in this beautiful colorway  I am a bit late in showing my favorites, I didn’t feel so well because finally i caught the infamous C-Virus. But today I am better and took a bit of time to make photos.
As you can see, the scarves that really took my breath away are all of the pink family  I am a bit astonished that I am more girly than I thought! Wild Singapore, Mythes et Métamorhoses and Tournez Manège. View attachment 5612187View attachment 5612188View attachment 5612189
All fabulous on you! Feel better soon @Katharina Luise. wishing you a quick recovery.

Some scarves let you know right away that they are special. This one says "Wow" right on it.

20220917_103919.jpg

I already owned Le Premier Chant and Wow! in their 90 formats, but this muffler combining the best of the two designs had me from the first moment I saw it. I even picked up a second colorway of the design.

My scarf of the day is Le Premier Chant, Wow! silk muffler in CW05, mauve/blanc/bleu glacier.

My office arranges interesting activities sometimes which are unrelated, or peripherally related, to our work. Food self-sufficiency is a hot topic in Singapore at the moment as we import most of our food. So today, we had an excursion to a small farm in a rural part of the island. It runs educational tours so people can learn more about local plants, especially edible plants. I'm pretty much a city girl, so I was agog at some things I learnt about that area: do not approach the compost heap as there may be pythons; at low tide, baby crocs will sunbathe on the river bank; my colleagues came running back to us because a large monitor lizard was lounging further down the path :cray:

One encounter there relates to a stunner of a scarf. The central motif in Wild Singapore is a lion (our representative animal) depicted in the form of a fig tree.

To be honest, I've never seen a fig tree here and the figs I eat are imported from Turkey. I was pleasantly surprised when the guide introduced us to a fig tree at the farm!

Those bumps and lumps on the trunk and branches are figs. It turns out that there are many varieties of figs in Singapore and they play an important cornerstone role in the ecosystem. More info in this link:

I know that Alice Shirley visited this rural area because she mentioned it at the Carre Club event that H had arranged for her to visit the wetlands reserve near this farm. She also visited our Botanic Gardens. And since local fig trees are found mainly in rural areas and parks, she must have seen the fig tree in one of those places and recognized its importance. Many of the birds and animals depicted on the scarf either feed on the figs or prey on the fig-eaters.

My stunner of a scarf, made more sweet for me because this is my home

Wonderful, @xincinsin ! I love your connection to, and joy for, this design. it is stunning, and I am your happy twin on the blue :) On theme: it also made me gasp when it arrived as it was so much prettier than it looks in pictures!

Thanks also for the link to the article. Very informative. My experience with fig trees is of the European sort, so this was really interesting. I am lucky enough to grow a couple in my garden and the smell of fig leaves in one of my favourite scents (and one I spent a long time reconstructing faithfully in perfume!). As for my garden figs, the local wildlife conspire to get the fruit before I can! I can attest that everything from birds, to squirrels, to bears are fans of this delicious fruit!

Ok, so I don’t want to put anyone off about the various beautiful cws and formats of our beloved winged Zebra, because they are all amazing and look so grand, but! :woohoo: :woot: This cw is just gorgeous, and paired with that aubergine blouse :faint:. Here’s my ZP, which I adore and it’s a special, beloved scarf because it was rehomed by one of our own ScarfLovers.
Your Les Artisans is also stunning, and tied so beautifully to showcase the design. Another unobtainable grail due to gonzo resale inflation. I looove your necklace, too.

Would love to see the full view or other pics of this cw whenever you wear it. Can’t stop thinking about it.

There is a country music ballad by Shania Twain that feels apropos for me this last morning of "Breathless Week." Here is the scarf that started it all for me-- the one that brought me to the party so to speak. Even though there have been so many beauties in the meantime (SO many :panic: ) I always remember my first coup de foudre, my first love, the one I always come back to... so:
Don't let the green grass fool you,
Don't let the moon get to you,
You gotta dance with the one that brought you
And you can't go wrong.

I understand. This is a magnificent design and I am gasping at how beautifully you tied it.

That is a beautiful and very intersections story. And rightfully, you have all colorways. Are there four? I am your pink twin but the special edition is just stunning. Love how you wear it as a top.

What a wonderful post! Your fig tree is so fascinating, I only know figs grown in France - they certainly don't grow in Maine! Your Wild Singapores are spectacular. Wear them in great health.

Au Coeur de Vie from 2014... the scarf that made me fall irretrievably hard for Hermes. In a former life I was a psychology professor specializing in primates and when I saw this with its lemurs and even a fossa (!) wow (!) ... carnivorous cat-like animal endemic to Madagascar, I knew I had to have it. The blue is the perfect colorway. It's a gorgeous balance of vibrant colors and the animals are the closest match to their natural colors in this one. I have only this one colorway and it is my absolute favorite H scarf. In 2018 I was able to visit Madagascar with my family where my young daughter, husband, and I all got see all of the lemur species depicted in this one in the wild. To say it is precious to me is an understatement. The magenta colorway is the other one I would love to find one day now that I have burst right through the "one colorway per scarf" rule I set for myself....

I don't remember ever seeing this gorgeous CW before! It is so perfect with your sweater.

TY for the TP love @Cookiefiend @Nomad @bunnycat @HoneyLocks @Agrume @hotgalaxy @Maedi @LKBNOLA - true confession: there have been so many lovely mod shots of this design that I recently added a darker colorway (not yet worn - one neck and all)
DuJA is another favourite. autumn has finally started, and I write this to the sound of rain, much missed during the dry summer. This cw, I think, can both mean spring and autumn.

View attachment 5610999
Oooh I’ve not seen modshots of this colorway! It’s beautiful and soothing and pairs divinely with the red top
Chorus Stellarum today, it's mesmerizing...I really want another colorway too, but can't decide which one now. I'm more fond of the orange and pink one now, and less fond of the unattainable grey and green colorway that I thought would be more lime, but seems more pale green instead...still I'd like to try it first.... What should I do scarf-sisters and scarf-brothers???

View attachment 5610934
Absolutely lovely! I’m the type that is drawn to multiples of favored designs as the colorways have a way of creating such different emotions. That being said I encourage the pursuit of the elusive green! It’s sure to appear eventually (and the delight of finding it on h.com enables one to see how it meshes with the wardrobe, mull it over, and return if needed)
In Paris this spring, we went to the boutique on George V - where I didn’t look at one thing. Later in the trip we walked to Sevres - where I looked in the cases and was floored by what I found innocently lying in the case.

Twins with @LKBNOLA, @hotgalaxy and @Redbirdhermes
(I hope I didn’t forget anyone!)
An absolute stunner! Made all the more special by being imbued with memories of a fantastic vacation
SOTD of one that did take my breath away, Savana Dance 140 wash. One of my favorite recent scarves, I missed it when it came out and finally was able to find it at FSH. Will post more in next couple of days, I fall deeply in love with scarves so regularly there is no shortage of coups de coeur! Apologies for the less than ideal color quality.View attachment 5611266
The colors in it are fabulous together! I love a good lime green, I love but do not have this design, and shall now be on a quest!

Jardin de la Maharani is one of my favorite designs, I have several CWs and formats. This is the most impressive one.
@Teaforparrots , especially for you I took a photo with matching flowers (public ones).
Love the flower pairing! And the purple top makes the accents in this beauty sing!
Thank you @Snausages! Did you get this ring too? You have such a great collex of "scarf jewelry"!

OMG you are the Marble Queen! I love how you styled this @Redbirdhermes-- I think it is a lovely design and the colors are quit surprising to me.

Twins again @hotgalaxy! I could gaze into this scarf for hours-- and this cw of ours is very serene and soothing despite the incredible detail o every inch of the silk!

The first thing I did after picking my jaw up off the floor is bookmark this post to copy in Every. Single. Detail. Just a gorgeous look and a stunning silk. Brilliant tie with the anneau and the Lift pendant @Snausages. I am swooning... :faint:

:hugs: @Cookiefiend and thrilled to be twins (though I would have liked to get mine in Paris, too!)

Thank you @Nomad! Yes between @hotgalaxy's pale blue sweater and her beautiful Pico I had loads of inspiration!

Thank you @bunnycat! I just love this cw on you. I have the orange one -- think I am also waiting for the green one but not sure? I think H did a fabulous job on this 70. The colors in this particular cw are so delicious...

I love seeing these @xincinsin ! I am twins on the Mars and sisters on the other-- I too was smitten with the corner details and the adorable array of umbrellas. It is my only Watrigant design. Two little thumbnails for solidarity :winkiss:

I just love this on you @Agrume-- how nice to have a choice of DuJAs in your collection! This one is perfect for autumn with that top! (and thank you for the BdG compliment).

All stupendous @orchard! I am still in search of a Jungle Love (have the Rainbow version) like yours. Love the origin stories, too. So happy to be sisters and cousins on Au Coeur de la Vie and recently on Rencontre Oceane. The ACdlV is truly a wonder.

What can I say? It is stunning on your white top @Cookiefiend :faint:

This is amazing-- a beautiful styling with your earrings and watch and perfectly set off by your top @HoneyLocks. I adore this one, too and have just added a blue/brick/cream cw that really highlights the border. Fabulous mod shot! (bonus: flowers  )

Just perfection @MAGJES!

Gorgeous @frenchgirl! I believe we are twins on this beauty though mine looks much brighter? Just wore it out to dinner with my DD last week, in fact.

I think so many of us seem to have been hit by the lightning bolt of PdS @Nomad and when I see a photo like this one it is so obvious exactly why that is true! This is beautiful on you-- I personally love it with the silver but there is so much to pull from as you continue your color journey! :winkiss:

I don't even know where to begin with all this beauty @Maedi! Your Sintra is TDF, Dallet always makes my heartbeat faster (love especially Tendresse Feline) and your Index Palmarum in that delicious pink is one I so rarely see. It looks lovely both ways here but what a beautiful pattern mixing with your Liberty print!

Lovely and very stylish. A fantastic design and outfit @scarvesandhandbags!

Like @Maedi and @orchard and I am sure a large contingent of other scarfies-- any design by Robert Dallet automatically makes my heart beat faster. It was hard to know which design to choose for this week, so I settled on my newest treasure. I acquired this last spring from Its All Goode after a long time hunting and I am absolutely smitten with every detail of this design. There are some trademark Dallet details and recognizable little faces but the overall composition and the gorgeous coloration just makes me weak with joy. Sharing Sichuan on this lovely late summer/early fall day.

From the archives I am sharing one that has always taken my breath away.

Here’s another with a lot of the same colors.

What a fabulous knot! This would be breathtaking on so many different color tops!
This was love at first sight and still my fav cw of Samourais. I was breathless seeing a Samourais for the first time in person and wearing it time and time again. I chose a silver gray shirt to try to pull out all that amazing gray shading in this design. Totally different top color than what I usually wear with this. I think I will try a charcoal gray next time ha. Color fun!
Thrown in loose tie today.

Super hard to photograph a csgm worn at length  . Zenobie. It was a true Autumn morning. 58 degrees I think. Sweater vests came out. And navy, orange and gold colors hit the sweet spot today. Who’s ready for apple picking? I am! I am! I have zero lipsticks to go with these colors so I took a photo before the peachy gloss went on. My glosses look pretty sharp in my sotd pics:huh:
View attachment 5611769
 Love the flower in PdS and your natural lip is perfect with Zenobie! And I too love the shoes!
Not enough superlatives exist to describe the experience of seeing a H scarf for the first time!
This cw took my breath away when I first saw it on display in a London boutique - (jungle) love at first sight.

I was on the waiting list at Harrods for Les Ameriques after seeing the design featured in Vogue and I received the phone call confirming it had arrived. After much anticipation it was an overwhelming experience seeing this spectacular beauty irl for the first time.

My fav cw, thanks to a friend in the US this beauty made its way into my collection.

Another stunning H design ... there are so many.
At the time of issue in 2007 it was the H scarf with the most screens.

Where. To. Begin. :woot: I’ve not seen those colorways of JL or Ameriques - they are spectacular!
Eleftheria, one of my favourites to finish off an outfit! Absolutely breathtaking detail, somewhere on the scarf are tiny little horses one can only see very close up (not wearing it today though, pics are from this summer so outfit shots only...!)

EDIT: Oops, having scrolled through some recent posts after being absent for a while, I realise I'm not the first to post Eleftheria!!!

Eleftheria is indeed quite mesmerizing! The details go perfectly with the lace!
Some designs are stunners but I don't realize it at first glance. I'm bad at visualizing scarves as they may appear tied. Many of my early non-H scarves have a lovely centre motif and empty corners. These two scarves weren't on my radar till last year. One day, I took a good look at them and was bowled over.

Sous l'Egide de Mars
I wanted this particular cw but not at a cut-throat price, so it took almost a year to finally hit BIN.
View attachment 5610957
This was the scarf I wore on my flight home today. It certainly was appropriately themed as there were storms and howling winds every day at my mountaintop resort.
Ombrelles et Parapluies
One day, those lovely corners just drifted into my awareness and I was smitten.

Puddle of drool! Is that the SE WS?!
On the road today with one I had been on the fence about acquiring, but fell in love with as soon as I opened the package. Yikes. Hotel lighting! Coup de foudre worthy for me, Jardins des Metamorphoses.

View attachment 5611637
The contrast with the top and your blonde locks really makes the scarf stand out!
Nomad, we are having fall weather today as well, so it felt right to wear my following super duper favorites! Some are quite old but still make my heart sing. In order, Axis Mundi, Pavement, Sieste (all CSGMs)and Indian Dust mouss. The latter was SOTD.View attachment 5611826View attachment 5611827View attachment 5611828View attachment 5611833
Wowzers! I must join the Sieste club! And that changeant is so beautifully shimmery!
@Snausages is correct once again - I did fall for the beauty of a second cw of this scarf. When it arrived I wasn’t quite as sure of its suitability for me because of the light gray at the center, but a discount from the seller convinced me to keep it and I’m finding that it’s quite useful for pairing with black and white patterned tops. The light gray doesn’t show much in my usual ties.

LOL I think at one time I had both these colorways of CT! (There is quite a lot of churn in my scarf drawer as my space is finite and my desires morph and evolve over time much like a lava lamp) You wear them both beautifully

I am a lemur fan as well! (Saw them, or at least their eyes reflecting the flashlight, in the forests of Australia!) Perfect knot to show them off and love how the top pulls out all the little details!
I also selected a Robert Dallet for today. The moment I saw the magnificent cheetah in Acinonyx Jubatus I knew that scarf was for me. I picked the colorway closest to the original Dallet painting.

I love the softness of Jubatus and the fun brights of the Muffler!

When I first started buying H scarves, one of the SAs was recommending "one scarf per season". That died a swift death. I tried "one scarf per designer". Then "one cw per design" - Mythiques Phoenix scuppered that real quick. Trying out "sparks joy" and "will you use it" as control measures now

Amazing! I cannot fathom one scarf per season... the horror..! I can see why Mythiques Phoenix would spark that. It is a beauty! Best of luck with control measures.

Coincidentally, that "one scarf per season" advice was given when the SA sold me the scarf which I featured first this week: Sieste au Paradis. Perhaps I was displaying the first signs of H addiction

Oh my, this design has been issued in lovely cws. Maybe wait until your desired cw is added to H.com or visit (if possible) and/or phone your preferred boutique and ask them to do a search.
I have been on the lookout for awhile. I have this pink one and now I am just being greedy.

I love this one on you. I’ve been eyeing this colorway for a while!
I feel so tempted right now! :P

It really is a fabulous colorway for this scarf. Thanks!

Thank you @Snausages! Did you get this ring too? You have such a great collex of "scarf jewelry"!

I knew a few people had opted for the orange. Do you have a mod shot by chance? I have thought about the green as well, but like you, am not sure for some reason.

On the road today with one I had been on the fence about acquiring, but fell in love with as soon as I opened the package. Yikes. Hotel lighting! Coup de foudre worthy for me, Jardins des Metamorphoses.

Stunning pinks on you!

This is gorgeous on your deep burgundy shirt!

I also selected a Robert Dallet for today. The moment I saw the magnificent cheetah in Acinonyx Jubatus I knew that scarf was for me. I picked the colorway closest to the original Dallet painting.

My scarf of the day is Acinonyx Jubatus.

Pastel watercolor goodness rbh!

Yay!! Another PdS. Love the browns and beiges. Don’t have this one…yet ;)

Perfect tie for those ends! Which I think you also did in your marble on marble thread.Great choice.

Gorgeous colors on this 140. This is the one I would have purchased too. Gorgeous

Wow that green and pink hem sintra. Perfect! I absolutely love it. And the border in the Dallet is great. Somehow allows those animals to be pulled out of the design.

Genius H at work with this light pink background. Lippie is perfect with it, and the perfect green top too

In order, Axis Mundi, Pavement, Sieste (all CSGMs)and Indian Dust mouss. The latter was SOTD.View attachment 5611826View attachment 5611827View attachment 5611828View attachment 5611833
