It’s good to see you, Bunnycat. You look well. I have always loved your MT Slim of Animapolis and I think it rivals, for me, my brightly-colored, black-hemmed 90. In other words, had I had the choice, I might have chosen the Slim.
Congratulations on your new muffler, which is really darling!

Oh, lovely, LKB, gavs are perfect traveling companions, and the Appaloosa gavs are some of my favorites. The border and folk designs make for interesting tying. Your cw is so bright and pretty!

I think all the pics looks great. The hem is so much extra fun on this design. And it is such a great nod to the queen. Thanks for that extra info too.
And thanks for the sweet words about my gav and Zaba. I am very happy with the colors in my Zaba.

I was thinking the exact same thing about my gav today. It is more carefree. Both amazing combos. Red on the white is always a stunning look. And the appaloosa is special in this colors. So versatile I bet. Can’t beat that border. Safe travels and you are way better dressed for travel than me.

and @Teaforparrots I don’t know how I missed your post here in the quoting. Your flowers are gorgeous! And that blue and purple sarasa is a great cw. If I didn’t have so many blue I would like that one. I have the blue and red. Should wear it soon!

SOTD Presentation de Chevaux in honor of Queen Elizabeth’s love of horses and her equestrian talents. Also on-theme with our beloved Philippe Ledoux’s sensitive and realistic illustrations of people, dogs, horses and the countryside. The pin is a vintage Art Nouveau cameo and I’m wearing pearl studs which compliment the white in the pin and the carré. I love the story behind acquiring this lovely silk. It belonged to the seller’s grandmother and she was thrilled to sell it to me, as I expressed my love of the vintage designs and Mr Ledoux himself. She wrote me a lovely note, too. It is in mint, unworn or gently worn condition, and while it’s a bit orange for me, it makes a great autumn scarf and it’s perfect with taupes and creams. It was also a very good price, so win-win! I quite love it. I think the Queen would, too, and perhaps this design is in her own collection!
