My final scarf of Through the Looking Glass week is my newest colorway of Le Grand Prix du Faubourg.

View attachment 5392574

I tried it with blue earlier this week, and sections of the scarf seemed more white than blue.

View attachment 5392576

Now, I'm wearing it with a white top today. Yeah, I think it looks bluer.

View attachment 5392640

Recently I purchased the Hermès Pop-Up book (2018) and was delighted to see my scarf in the book.

Thank you, @Agrume , for hosting a marvelous week of pairing and flipping our scarves and outfits.
You post such wonderful insights and information, Redbirdhermes. Thank you for the time, effort and knowledge you pour into your posts. It is always enriching. And, what a fabulous flip as the theme comes to a close!

My SOTD is auditioning. She has not yet joined the cast of my Scarf Company. For one thing, she is waaaaaaay out of my comfort zone and she brings two difficult colors for me to the table. I have learned the hard way never to add a scarf where I am iffy about one color-- especially a prominent one. Love the aqua here but embracing the greens today to see how it goes... oh wow I didn’t realize this had that pretty hem. Lovely cohesive outfit.
After yesterday's foray into Bold and Bright Territory and spamming the thread with photos, I am returning today with just one mod shot and back to more neutral ways! I matched this lovely little bandana not to my top but my pants. You can see a bit in the photo. And many many thanks to all the scarfies who generously weighed in with smart opinions and observations :flowers: :hugs:

Y'all are so nice. And she landed a leading role thanks to all your amazing suggestions. This scarf really loves a bold color! And @bunnycat, I tried Rose Zinzolin with a topcoat of Cherries-in-the-Snow and I think you are 100% correct that a bolder tonality and the pink lip are the right calls. It takes a whole scarf village!

As usual terribly unglamorous photo but this is my latest addition, Faubourg tropical 140! I'm head over heels in love, the colours, the softness and the relaxed, slouchy fabric. Need more 140 chales! View attachment 5392109

A delightful week this was, so inspiring to see your photos! Thank you all! :flowers:
Still in Scotland where it is raining now, but we all enjoy to have a real meeting after all those Zoom conferences. Two more days to go here.

This is a pairing where the shirt really flips the scarf colours. This was also the scarf (EL Parisiennes) I had forgotten to pack, therefore I needed to find an alternative.

I settled on the Pytheas (after trying also my airport acquisition of Passades et Serpentines, flipped on both sides).

In the evening, for a relaxed dinner, only a flip of the yellow belt to navy.

Thanks, lkb! I thought there were several great versions of this scarf, but the hem on this one is a standout, for sure!

What fun colors! Didn’t know it came in a MT… must keep my eyes out. And why have I not braided my MTs before???? Genius!

Thank you, Karenska!

I do not know the name of the knot. You fold the scarf into accordion pleats and pull one side through both holes of a chain d‘ancre scarf ring. Then you pull the other side through the loop created by the scarf in the ring. I‘m not terribly good at explaining, I hope the photos help.

Good grief this day just flew by! I've been dealing with computer issues all day, and failed operating system updates (DH, who is a computer engineer, says there's a reason he calls it "Crapple"... :P ).

Anyhoo, here I am trying to coordinate my lipstick to my scarf to stay on theme.

Scarf is "La Selle Imaginaire" in Gris Perle, Violet, Orange and Jaune by Jan Bajtlik. I adore it.
