So elegant, as always. Those colors are ravishing! Seeing them makes me happyHappy new year to everybody!
I‘ve paused for a long time because I moved to another city for a new job that proved to be…a lot. But I‘m glad to be back again and want to celebrate my return by wearing a gavroche that always makes me happy. It’s colorful, vibrant and fun: Coupons Indiens.

A few years ago, some scarfies were disappointed with the new season of scarves because the ink did not saturate through to the underside. That was the first time I encountered this viewpoint. IIRC it was the season that included Parures de Samourais. How interesting, Croisette, but it is not a double-sided? I'm a little confused. hmmm...
Yes!! I remember reading about that. As a new collector it was nice information to have. It can be annoying to do a tie and have so much lighter colored underside on the tails stick out like a sore thumb. Samourais has very little saturation on the back. But I have some where I literally can’t tell the front from the back without looking for the ‘Hermes’ Printed on the front.A few years ago, some scarfies were disappointed with the new season of scarves because the ink did not saturate through to the underside. This is just an all around great post that guarantees a happy smile for the reader! Coco is a stunning girl with an adorable face (and a super stylish mom/owner) but @Cookiefiend, that jacquard is truly special and I have that cw of EU precisely because of your mod shots.Dogs make me happy ❤

I am a triplet of you and @Living.la.vida.fifi on the orange Plumes en Fete-- one of my very first purchases as a collector.Twins with the last one, and I agree: a perfect symbol of happiness!
Thank you, LKBNOLA! I keep my fingers crossed for you! It is an elusive design, unfortunately.
Same for me... thank you for demonstrating this effect, LKBNOLA!
Both are gorgeous and happy-making in their own ways @bunnycat!Thanks to @scarf1 for reminding me that blue and yellow is indeed a happy combination.
With Paridaiza (a happy place....)

Thank you Nola! We both get a kick of my little hobby. She collects shells and rocks, I collect scarves haha
Thank you @MAGJES. For me, this is turning out to be a very "outfit-specific" scarf. I do think it pairs beautifully with my blue velvet shirt, a sapphire blue chenille sweater and a faux suede top, too. I think the very white hem with the candy stripe wants some texture behind it to really work. It is no shrinking violet and elicits so many comments/compliments!I love your velvet pairing with this colorway! I also have this one and am still trying to love it. I adore the Pocket Posy knot and am going to check it out on insta.

How marvelous to see you back here @Thelittlefoxes! I have missed your radiant smile and your thoughtful and fun posts. I hope 2022 is starting off well with the move and new job and that you will be able to hang out with us more often. Your gav is charming and your earrings TDF.Happy new year to everybody!

Now you've got me thinking anthropology and hunter-gatherer culture@Foxy trini-- she has a collector's heart like most kids. Oh that explains it! We are all just kids at heart, trying to satisfy that primal collecting urge...

It is a gorgeous shawl! Absolutely stunning! I actually find that cashmere format in 140 is easier to handle and is more durable in wear. So many times I found myself spilling coffee, chocolate, etc on my shawls in my office - a bit of soap and water would take off the issueHappy New Year to all my dear scarfies! And say the same sentiments as those above- I am so appreciative to all the scarf mistresses who take the time to make our love of silks so fun throughout the year!
I was going to do yellow silk today like scarf1 but it’s raining so I chose this csgm that makes me so happy because I got it for a STEAL!!!!!!! And it’s black! Black can’t go wrong in my mind. Dirt, what dirt. Put lipstick on…sure why not!
My first three csgm’s were Samourais and a beloved Henry and I loved them so much that I protected them. Hardly wore them. I am slowly learning to enjoy the more costly format. So to have this utter bargain in my closet has really allowed me to wear csgm’s more often and learn through experience that they can take a beating And it’s just fine. Rain, hurricane, snow, wind, this guy is coming with me!
