My last scarf of my years purchases. I did not wear it today because our dinner plans were tahpas and a silken scarf was not coming with me. Potentially too messy and too crazy on new years haha. I have purchased the marble versions of Balade en Berline, the robe du soir, the muffler, two versions of marble twillies, doll jacquard twilly and this Brides de Gala Jacquard. All that remains is the doll jacquard twilly and this one. I just struggled with all the blank spaces on balade and robe. I struggle in general with the muffler format and it all was so much pink on me. I didn’t love my colors I received on my twillies so I returned.
This design has more marble than others, and that awesome jacquard.
Happy New Year to all!

Though it is already 2023 I wanted to post one last time to say a big thanks to all you wonderful scarfies! Even when I wasn’t able to participate because of difficult times last year this community has been a highlight of the day with all those beautiful photos and friendly comments. And again I learned so much more about our beloved scarves! I am so happy to have found a community to share my passion! I hope you all will have a wonderful year with health, happiness and lots of scarves!

A truly beautiful shawl @Croisette7 and what an amazing scene to be a part of! Glorious decorations and so much fun. Happiest of New Years to you and enjoy your holiday in Paris. Thank you for all your encouragement and for sharing your stunning collections-- you have inspired me more than you can know and I am so very grateful. :flowers:

Ready to watch the ball drop and joining all my sisters and twins in the festive Chorus Stellarum! Happy New Year to all and see you next year!

As stated by many others, thank you all for sharing your gorgeous (and enabling) scarves, and for being so gracious and welcoming to all. Happy New Year!
A pink beauty, Fizzy!

Squeaking in before the door closes on 2022 to share three of my favorite new scarves from this year. The Alice Shirley double face Sous le Charme d'Orphee. L'Intrus... which I searched for in this particular colorway. It makes my heart sing! And finally, a gorgeous Sichuan, inspired by @Redbirdhermes. I think we're twins! This one I found in near pristine condition with the care tag still attached and for below retail value (in today's terms) so I think it was the absolute score of the year! Happy new year to you all! You have inspired me so much this year with inventive ways to use knots and wardrobe colors to showcase these beauties. I just want to express my admiration and appreciation for you ladies! Thank you for letting me share. Looking forward to what's to come!

Those monkeys are too cute! Congratulations on your amazing finds of 2022.

The Bord is a special edition! Not sure if you knew since you didn’t mention it, but you know so much about them so maybe you just didn’t say. It was made for the benefit of the emerald necklace in Boston. I almost bought this last month bc I live in Boston, but decided I would just be buying it for being “a limited edition” w personal attachment. However, I was strong and didnt hit buy bc the orange is a no go for me. I can’t wait to see you model it.
Half my 2022 haul are LEs (is there a "hide my face in shame" emoji?). And half of those were not outrageously priced, so I'll count that as an H-economics win

A couple of them were bought for novelty value: a Pythagore gav issued for a Japanese mook (magazine-book hybrid) and, inspired by @Julide, a special ed of Fleurs et Raisins. Julide also influenced me to buy another LE which is still navigating international shipping. I shall post a pic when it arrives

On my way to dinner wearing my treasured La Rosee… one of my Grail dreams come true this year… I did not wear the labradorite jewelry as planned, but went with these Françoise Montague Paris vintage earrings and my grandmother’s amethyst and rubies ring.
Wishing all a wonderful evening and looking forward to seeing all in the New Year!

Stunning. No words. Scarf, jewelry and lipstick all perfection. Happy New Year and thank you for a great week @Living.la.vida.fifi!
I found way too many wonderful new scarf designs this year I can't post them all! Wearing Les Ailes de Pegase for my last outing of the year (I call it my travel scarf because it went with me on my first post lockdown trip!). Happy New Year everyone!

Gorgeous in the green cw @mktlim -- a truly special design. Happy New Year!
Greetings all and Happy New Year!
Like many posts before mine, I’ve been catching up, admiring, envying, and feeling so grateful and fortunate to have found this amazing community! I’ve also realized that while I did collect rather aggressively this year, I’m not going to feel guilty. Life is too short and these beauties brightened up some dreary days while making the good days even better. Wishing you all a peaceful, healthy, joyful year ahead! Cheers to 2023!

I am just goint to insert a string of faint and swoon emojis @de vent. Gorgeous!
I'm not going to count my new treasures to avoid scarf shock :faint: But I will say that this was a Year of Second Chances for me. I acquired some scarves which I missed when they were issued. The reasons why I missed them are either "sold out" :crybaby: or "really not me" :cray: (but I couldn't forget about them ... ).

The price tipped the balance for me for these two scarves. They were so beautiful but I rarely wore large formats, so I reluctantly passed on them. When they popped up in excellent condition and half-retail, I snapped them up. The icing on the cake was that they were in my preferred cws.

Designs I missed out on because every piece was reserved! :annoyed:
I had to buy Ex Libris Atlantis off the reseller market because this design didn't even make it to the boutique showcase. Luckily the mark-up wasn't huge and it was one of my preferred cws.

I'm in the same boat with Robe Legere  It counts as a 2022 buy but it's still on the way to me.

The other lesson I learnt in 2022 is to stop placeholding. These are a couple of scarves which I could have bought in another cw, but I held out for the cw that I really wanted. I paid above retail, but no regrets. Both just arrived a few days ago.

Amazing! Happy New Year @xincinsin --gorgeous LEs!

I will close out this week first, echoing our lovely @Cookiefiend, with an expression of gratitude for all of you here on this thread who make the collecting, wearing and obsessing about H scarves such a fun, friendly and inspirational experience. I look forward to your posts every single day. Everyone here makes me appreciate and look at my silks in different and wonderful ways. A special shout-out to the Scarf Mistresses for all they do to make this possible. A happiest New Year to everyone. May 2023 being health, happiness and an abundance of grails and lovely scarves.
My last post of the year is of two truly special additions. I am very grateful to our Marble Silk maven @Redbirdhermes, without whose additions and alert, I would not even own the first of my marble silk scarves. I am so happy to have added two this year, both in designs that I adore. Here are two that have "pride of place" in my collection.

And my most recent gift from my lovely and supportive DH. I am grateful for the interest and encouragement he brings to my collecting journey and for his good humor in participating in the @bunnycat inspired Scarf Gift Vault. This one was a surprise, though and I am deliriously happy to have it! Fouets et Badines Marble Silk:

I have wanted to boot this year out the door so bad....I will be eating black eyed peas all week. I had my 12 grapes last night at midnight, and a shot of whiskey as I had no champagne....
